nice build as always Tux! i went with same but replaced the backpack for Ninjabike and I love it! was able to add 2 weapon cores (making 3 total because of Picaros) and switched to Gunnner specialization, making 20% armor on kill (can have 40% if u go with the Mop shotgun w/ changed talent), Legendary Summit was a breeze, got like 6 exotics in the hour I played and saved my whole team a bunch of times

I just put this build together and teamed up with a group. This works as advertised and I don’t think the guys I was playing with knew where all their extra armor was coming from!

So wild. I already had a build that used those same pieces in those same slots, except for my ninja bmb. I was going for lots of armor and lot of regen. All I need to do is switch out some regen for crit and change to a Lavoisier. Hurray for a no effort build change!

if you change specs in a loadout and back, it will restock your spec grenades (assuming you are using fire to proc sledgehammer).

I’ll try this out as soon as I can! So far, inserting St Elmo’s Engine into my pre-existing builds, it feels best with my True Patriot/Brazos/Ninja BMB “Biggest Magazine” build. 105 rounds in the mag.

Yay. Welcome aboard. I use controller and click in thumb stick to zoom. The exotic has zoom built in. Yes, not all scopes allow.

I adore the idea of disrupt and distract in this one. Personally if i go full Bulwark with Foundry it's just a Bul and pistol. But this one has a lot diversity. Holster piece can switch to anything the play sees fit plus could shock anyone on the fly too. Like it

I tried it yesterday and it's amazing. There was a full crit Striker player and we were almost facetanking all the chungas.

Hi, I find that sometimes I am driven by the infinite possibilities of the game/builds, equally - it drives me mad!!!! I find (probably the game glithes/and/or/ my lack of knowledge...) talents work really well together in one mode, example countdown, then I will go out to control points, in a group, and the talents dont work like they did in countdown... Am I missing something.... a perfect example of this is the Build - Ongoing directive - with trauma on the chest and galvanize on the backpack or Vanguard on the chest - opportunistic on the back pack... is there a conflict that i dont know about?

Been running Vanguard and Galvanise for years on all my tank builds (thx to your earliest Wingman builds 😉).
Now i need to try this with the Lefty and the StElmo instead of my usual Scorpio and M4 with 8x scope! 😎👍
(Ps: 2x Bulwark you loose too much. Either use 4 pieces or none)

Replace the 2 Bulwark pieces with a Catharsis mask (30% more dps + healing cloud) and a second piece of Uzina (+10% AOK) or use Catharsis with 2 pieces of Belstone (1% Armor regen + 10%AOK)
Now you can replace the fixer drone with an assault turret and you can use the Firewall spec with Striker shield boosting all damage to enemies in front you by another 12 to 13%.
You do lose the fire grenade and 10% dps but the Striker shield should make up for it if you want a run-and-gun build.
(ps:you can also put Fenris or Badger chest with Vanguard for even more dps, depending if you run with St Elmo's or Scorpio, both work just fine on this build)

I came back from a long hiatus and I am learning a lot with your videos, really liked your explosive build with cooldown reduction on marked targets and the heartbreaker juggernaut, those 2 cover 2 of my 3 preferred styles in the game and I enjoy them very much. Is there any possibility for a fire-centric build? Something with fire abilities and if possible the flamethrower, I find that style so rewarding and fun
I dont use fire a ton, but it comes around. I'll see what I can do

I actually made a build to get my flamethrower proficiency up, try 4 pieces of Tip of the Spear (backpack and chest is a must in my opinion), i run it with Catharsis mask and Picaro's holster (3 red and 4 blue cores), 1.5m armor, 37% crit. chance 102% crit. dmg and 26% protection from elites. Can run it with Incinerator Turret/Burn Sticky Bomb/Airburst Seeker Mine and the Pyromaniac assault riffle for synergy. you're getting 40% bonus weapon dmg for 60 sec. after using the flamethrower plus another 25% if using the Pyromaniac. hope that helps ;)

@@PraviousFaboule I almost never run out of ammo for flamethrower and every minute it regenerates. Can also use similar build for grenade launcher. On top of being effective it's a lot of fun to use.
Did they nerf this already? I don;t get the armor when I deploy the shield. The status effects work once I get the shock armor, though.
imo this works better with the Scorpio since that sends special rounds every 3 or so shots.

Trying the build now it works just not too much damage but yea the bonus armor is awesome for the team
run the same talents with ongoing directive. or run on going with kinetic mometum and vile mask for tank/support/status build. run armour/status on everything you can with survivalist, shield and repair skill. mod for repair skill.

Hi Tux - for this build, is the expertise level to 25 or so making a difference? Some of the pieces i have for this are currently at only 4 or 5, (with the exception of my st elmos which is at 15)😂
What if I swap out that holster with another foundry item and I replace the mask with the coyote mask? Considering the holster seems to be the leat important piece (yea ik 15% weapon dmg is a lot) I feel like the coyote mask would be a good alternative.
Is it gonna work well for heroic countdown?
What if instead of bulwark i had a chill out mask, being able to get 48% pfe, maintain the same glove, go a second piece brazos on the kneepads + technician specialization to boost that drone boost for repairing teams armor and go with a normal golan chest (with vanguard) while having more 10% status effects for the shock.
OR... maintain the bulwark buff but do it with kneepads + gloves so you can keep having the chill out mask and then get a Uzina chest with normal vanguard

The exotic Scorpio Shotgun. You need the shock. Otherwise, run riot foam and the shield. And then use vindictive on your ar to give crits to team. There are other ways to go too.
When does the Y5S1 end? Just came back to the game after a really long time and i am wondering if it's worth to get the Season pass at this point or will it be to late to complete it?

Had to switch out a piece of Uzina Getica(don´t have a good piece yet.) for a Belstone armory, also missing lefty... But i maybe should try out the countdown mode to get some dedicated loot ;) Thanks for all that you do, made me pick up the game again after a 3 yrs hiatus 😁👌

Don’t use Saint Elmo. Scorpio is way better. You will give bonus armor every 3 shots. And after 7 shots your team will make 20% more damage on that enemy.
I agree, or a riot foam
Galvanize doesn’t work that way. It has a ten second timer and cannot stack. Timer is basically a ten second cool down. So every three shots from Scorpio wouldn’t change that. However, it’s a great alternative still. Go with what you like best. Me, I love 70 rounds of shock on demand to hold back the entire spawn (not just one enemy at a time) even at ranges deeper than a shotgun can go. Gameplay shows this (see the mall and garage). I also prefer not to reload every 7 shots.
@TuxedoBandido definitely. I think the build is great. I was just saying so you don't have to quit for the shock rounds you can run the elmo and a riot foam to have galvanize up on cool down
Ah there is a cooldown you are right. Didn’t see this. Sorry. So let’s rock Saint Elmo. The Gunner specialization will give you foam grenades and the special scan. (can’t remember the scan’s name) both will activate galvanized as well.

Tux - wholly shit, Tux, you’ve done it again. I’m trying like hell to replicate this build. Countdown yielded 4 Lavoisier BP’s but all were 1 tier, no armor. I find it impossible to change the core attribute to 170,000 armor without locking the attributes. How did you change it? I thought a “core” could be changed without affecting the other two attributes. Any help appreciated.
You will never get a Lavoisier with armor. The electric gear set is by default a skill tier gear set, so the only way for you to put armor is to recalibrate the +1 on the recalibration bench.

Yes, but it’s a little excessive for countdown. But they will love you for it. Countdown is not as hard as legendary where so much armor is helpful.

Sorry for the ignorance. I only started a few days ago, but, how do you have a tier 6 shield when none of your gear has the little +1 to skills things on them?
Welcome to the game. Shields are the only skill the tier upwards with both armor cores and skill cores. So, if you had 6 armor cores you’d have a 6 skill tier shield. Likewise, if you had 6 skill tiers it’d be the same. 3 blue and 3 yellow cores would also be the same.

I’m still in a toss up with tweaking this build. I’ve changed the gloves with BTSU gloves? Getting additional skill haste and repairing the teams skills and my shield slicing the 25 second timer by a little bit less. Had anyone else tried this and can confirm on the bonus perk the gloves give?

Kinda inspired to make this build... but I noticed your SHD level is over 11,000... Now would this build have the same effect for someone with SHD level of like 1,400?? Cause I think that plays a part on the whole build am I wrong?
Not really. As long as you have shd 1000 you and I are the same level. Expertise is another thing that can separate a builds performance, but I do not have any expertise invested in this build. You will be ok.

What backpack can i use since i dont have the one you are using?
Belstone, Fenris with Armor Core, Ceska with Armor core. Or try Catharsis mask with Uzina Backpack and put Foundry on gloves and knees. That’s what I’d do.
