this episode got dark and heavy really fast. i only watched this at first to see chuu acting in a cute and charming drama, but now i see that it goes much deeper than that. this drama takes things to a whole new level and you can see how carefully made it is ! much props to the people involved in this, im genuinely excited how this story pans out in the end :)

I agree with some parts of this but you have to consider the circumstances as well, some guys won't desist that easily and will most likely attack the girl at the first complain. Eunsol was brave and smart, but sometimes staying quiet is what can save your life.

She got there eventually but let's not forget that she didn't tell him to stop right away. Heck, she was already super uncomfortable in a previous episode with this guy but tried to use "soft no's" to get out of the situation (like what most women do), and she's been uncomfortable with this date since he was getting her measurements to adjust the dress but she didn't outright say anything for the majority of the time. She asked him if he took a picture of her while she was sleeping (i.e. without her consent? I think this is illegal in Korea) and only demanded that he stop the car *when she realized she was in an unfamiliar place, far from home, alone with a guy she's still getting to know, and with no available means of communication.* By that point, it was clearly an unsafe situation. There was no more room to doubt that she needed to get out of there ASAP.
A lot of people would bear with seemingly minor breaches of their comfort, I'm honestly not sure if Eunsol would have ever spoken up if the guy never reached a clearly dangerous zone.

honestly I dont think he had bad intentions. like he would understand that a 'no' is a 'no'. i get him. sometimes when you feel very attracted you just can't hold it and want to show your affection with holding them or kissing them, but based on the fact he didnt seem to try anything crazy up until now and that he actually helped her at the end, not abandoning her (suggests that he really feels romantic feelings to her, not just lust. if it was lust he would probably decide that he can find someone else and drive off) means that he would understand if she said no.

i don’t understand why people are defending surok, or... even worse, wanting chuu to end up with him. im sorry but his behaviour towards eunsol has been clearly pushing her boundaries. it’s not a matter of him being oblivious to her being uncomfortable, but it’s a moreso that he has explicitly CHOSEN to brush off her attempts at avoiding his previous advances. and then getting mad AT HER when she’s very clearly distressed and upset. because of COURSE she is. it’s late at night and she’s in a car with a man she BARELY KNOWS. she was promised that he would take her to his place, but she woke up SOMEWHERE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, alone with HIM. while she was completely defenceless. and he had the audacity to take a photo of her without her permission, because what? he thinks she’s cute? he obviously has a crush on her? that’s no excuse. idk if this drama is eluding to a past experience eunsol had that... may or may not have affected (traumatised) her... but if it’s the case, i can understand why she’s been quick to lose interest in men very easily. the writing for her character has been very well written and im actually surprised at the depth of her character, and to have her end up with a man that’s been pushing her boundaries would greatly disappoint me. i hope there’s an alternative where she realises she doesn’t need a man, or that she can open up to someone about her past, but i wouldn’t ever want her to end up with someone who’s made her uncomfortable. sure, even if he doesn’t know her past, or the extent of her boundaries... to have her end up with him would be cheap.

He was being aggressive about it to the point where he’s screaming at her, and telling her to get out, when it’s obviously late at night. people are praising him for coming back to her and not leaving her alone but. lmao why did he force her out of his car in the first place if that’s the case? why did he put her in uncomfortable situations beforehand? he isn’t a hero for doing ONE right thing, when he made several bad choices and left her crying by herself at the end of the day. a relationship with both of them wouldn’t be healthy at all, nor would it be “genuine and natural” like people are claiming it to be. nothing about it is. That was dramatic and sad and I just want Eunsol to be happy. I wanted to like Surok, but that entitled attitude + general creepiness needs to leave. Y'all I can write a 1000 word essay on why his actions are WRONG and how this episode is a contrast to the last episode (with respect to Yunsoo Jiyoung interactions) and how the last scene of this episode is especially symbolic. It's symbolic of toxic relationships where you helplessly seek the help of those you put you in that situation in the first place.

i really really liked surok, i'm so sad he turned out to be this way.... but i realized many people (usually men) who do not understand or respect people's boundaries and act dangerously are people like surok, who seem to have the best intentions and are likeable.
the contrast between eunsol being so cheerful at the start of the episode compared to about halfway through and onwards-and i honestly think it was no coincidence... this webdrama is really something new and different honestly.

In ep.8 (?) when Hyeonsu appeared, we see him and Taejin in front of school principal or sth like that. And while Hyeonsu is beaten up, Taejin is totally fine. So my new theory is : they got in a fight, Taejin was the one who did this to Hyeonsu. So the question is : why would he do this if he liked him??? My head is so full of questions... I hope Taejin is gay/bi instead of my second theory

That took a dark turn real quick. Though, it just made me more hooked on this series. It's the only Korean web drama I have ever watched, and so far, it's going great. I feel bad for Eunsol, though. I hope she overcomes her fear of men
