I think this video is one of the most realistic depictions of what it feels like to grow up raising yourself emotionally. You become your own role model and guide. You have to learn how to raise a kid and be the kid at the same time.

This song is so special to me. Me and my brother were always each others protector and the first time we seen this video and heard the song, we immediately named it our song. We lost him in June of this year and this was the song I chose to play at his funeral. Now the video hits even harder. To me it now represents that even though I can’t see him, he will always be by my side.
I lost my twin brother last Halloween, i will never be the same and im so lost without him. This was our song too and i cry everytime i hear it. My condolences to you and your family.

When the jocks start beating up his brother, he has to decide whether to fight or let his courage die. He fights, and his brother disappears. He no longer needs his imaginary brother to be his courage, because he found his own.

Well, okay, it's not the SAME storyline...
but the trauma-induced "identical friend/imaginary brother" people are referring to is another personality, because we see that our protagonist has been physically acting as this second person, they reveal at the end that he was breaking the mailboxes, he chased off the bullies. He may have projected this boy into his vision, but it was an extension of himself, always. That's a second personality, just as it was depicted in Fight Club! :)

Tamara strictly my opinion but the brother I believe is just a figment of his imagination as a way to cope with the death of his mother (the one in the bed) I believe the main character’s imaginary brother is representation of the kind of person the main character may want to be.

Esta canción me hace llorar con sólo escucharla, el 03/10/2021 mi hermano estaba en coma,tuvo un accidente en el que casi muere, el vivía en otro país y tuve que viajar de un día para otro un viaje de 18 horas, tenía más de dos años sin verlo, en la hora de visita que teníamos le contaba canciones que le gustaban mucho, como Youngblood - 5 Seconds of Summer, un día le cante My blood y su cuerpo tuvo un pequeño reflejo que nos dio esperanza (el seguía en coma, duro 20 días en coma), por poco probable que era el despertó, no me reconocía, no sabía quién era yo, ya mejoro mucho y sigue con nosotros.

How I love Twenty one pilots... This song gives me so much feelings, like sadness, happiness, loneliness, etc. Also, when I listen that masterpiece I start to remember moments from my past life, when I had many friends and great days with them.
