As a guitarist, i envy guys who make those 1-2-3-4-5-6 videos, they're very talented to change notes without even using the left hand
i know! they can slide from E to A w/o the left hand, and can also play 3 notes at the same time only on one string! wow
I could only wish I could do that
how much easier it would be
Also, the lower E is the 6th string, and the vids have that as 1
Shut up
They are so good they retune the strings to the correct note before hitting the string!
These are just “Cartoon Pianos are NEVER Animated Correctly” but real life.
My thoughts exactly
That is so accurate you can even make a video of that type out of this one.
What is shown in the "tutorial": 2:59

I don’t blame the kid in the first fake buskers.
His mom was most definitely the one who planned the performance, she’s the one holding a sign too.
She probably was just trying to profit from this kids violin lessons, like:
"I payed for the violin lessons, so I need to make profit!"
She probably bribed him to do it, sayings things like:
"But we are going to make money, I’ll buy you something with it!"
And if she didn’t have to bribe him to do it, you know who he was raised by.
And if you say that they need money, she can afford giving her son violin lessons, and speakers. Not to mention their clothes, makeup, and so much more.
Side note:
They probably used that audio, since there was a beat. So there would be an excuse to have a speaker there.
The kid should be defended, but people are defending him for the wrong reasons. The mom is completely at fault here though.

The people defending that violin kid scamming scares me, especially as a (visual) artist, art is stolen so much daily and there's never been a solution to it. And if the internet is teaching younger generations that stealing someone's work is ok, I can't even imagine the amount of art theft there'll be in the future
I mean, I'm gonna defend the kid. He's a child, a minor. There's clearly an adult with him, that person is the one where all the anger should be directed at. And I'm sorry, but the copyright music is the least of the problems here. The main question people should be wondering is why the hell is this adult using a child to busk on the streets. It's like exploitation basically, and is similar to the kind of human trafficking that often happens in first world countries. This isn't about stealing work, this is about why the fuck is an adult doing that with a kid, why can't that adult provide for the kid on their own, etc etc. These are the concerns that run through my mind when I see that vid, the music is like last priority.
@@xtwinni true that is a good point, I'm not saying it's the kid's fault, because they most likely don't know better, and it's true that the adult is at fault, because they clearly seem like a guardian / or have some kind of authoritative power and influence which should not have been used to gain attention or for their own profit. And yea you're right, manipulation and exploitation are bigger problems than art theft, however, I'm saying from my point of view as being a visual artist for years and have been on the internet, that I've seen art theft daily so it comes to my mind more often than probably some one who is like an engineer or something. Again I'm not saying it's the kid's fault, but the adult who is teaching these ideals and the people in the tik tok comments saying that it's ok, cause not only does this encourge art theft but the whole manipulation and exploition issues as people will most likely see it as a way to get some money without consequence or cost, and everyone knows that a lot people will practically do anything for money.
Well, maybe that kid himself agreed to such things, you can't know for sure. Anyway he is in that same age when you actually start to use your own brains. I hate it, us musicians do all the hard work and go through all the ups and downs of learning an instrument, not to mention years of meticulous training, and these random tik-tok "musicians" get millions of likes without even playing the VERY EASY work they uploaded, honestly.
You're working yourself up over nothing, mate. All this undue recognition these fake musicians are receiving really isn't worth that much. In some cases these aren't even their tiktok vids to monetize. And those that do monetize them, well... you can pretty easily google how much that amount of likes/subscribers is worth, and it's not exactly a windfall. And as buskers, I doubt if they're pulling in more than a 50$ a day with their routines. And it's not sustainable. You can't keep up that same act in the same spot all day every day and make a fortune. They'll eventually get chased out of that parking lot by a security guard and have to hump their way to some other location, set up, and do it all again. Outside in the heat, with bugs, and annoying people and cars. Are you really jealous of all that? If so, you can always fire up TikTok yourself... real musicians are also permitted to use it. Get yourself out there and rake up those sweet sweet likes if it's so easy. As a real musician you can rest easy that you'll not be stealing anything or scamming anyone. But ain't nobody getting rich here with any of this stuff. They're scrapping by with their little show, and some people throw them some likes/looks and forget about them. After one or two videos they never click on them again. It's just fodder. It's not even the same audience who would ever watch real musicians video (because it's obviously fake), so it's not as though they're really poaching the looks from real musicians. They're scrapping up likes/coins from a totally different group of people... people who want a story and performance. It's not sustainable, lucrative or scalable, because as soon as anyone started making more than a few dollars doing it, and tried to take their act off the curb, they would get sued/fired/etc. What are they gunna do, sell out Carnegie Hall? Give a TED talk? Get invited to meet the president? No. This is just scavenging, and can never evolve to more than that. Don't let it bother you. As a real musician this presents no threat to you. You’re right. I play on violin and piano and I cannot stop laughing. These scams are really embarrassing and it's amazing how you found out. ❤😂
Suggestion for editor-san: whenever there is music playing in the background (like in the end slate), could you put somewhere what piece it is? Small, half transparent, hidden in a corner, but put it there, please :-)
Prokofiev :)
Yes please
Would LOVE this!!
Yuh this needs to happen
Yes
as a guitarist: that was physically painful and now I fully understand when you guys pause things to suffer because I just did the same thing probably ten times on each clip
Same dude
I’m a trumpet player but still god that guitar clip hurt
Thing is, I like music but I'm really bad at playing. I do have a guitar here that I practice with from time to time. So when they showed the piano TikToks I knew it was fake, but didn't get their reaction. But then came the guitar ones. I think I haven't suffered this hard before. It's not like it's impossible to do this "content" either, if you'd play on one string.
That hurts my brain lmao
same here
I’m 12 and I play the piano (for 6 years) and violin (for about 11 months)
This hurts my brain seeing all the TikTok’s with fake tutorials 😭
even my 3rd grade brother who doesn't play an instrument can understand that you can't play two notes on the same key 🤦♂
dude if anyone put a candle on my piano i'd probably melt the whole thing with my anger and throw hot wax back at them
Just make sure to take it off your piano BEFORE you melt it! :D
@@SevenEllen came here to say the same XD
YOU WILL DAMAGE THE KEYBOARD!!!
Edit: I mean "you" is the person who put the candle on the piano
Yeaaaaaah! Piano Gang!
Yes. I have a sign on my piano saying to not touch the piano unless you are Mozart but ur not bcuz he's dead and if you bring food and drink near the piano Mozart will rise from his grave and haunt you forever
I’m a guitarist and I can say this. I feel offended that there are real people that think that playing the guitar is as easy as playing open strings a few times
I've been dabbling with the bass (like plucking it out occasionally), and the minute I saw that I actually laughed. It's so wrong. the E string plays an E, not 5 notes when open.
I agree
@@silkic how
I am also a guitarist and I think my brain committed suicide. You know what’s funny. The first guitar video the guy plays high notes on the low strings. You would think anyone with a guitar would know the difference between low and high notes
@@silkic nope. I feel offended. For reference, I am 15, legally a child. I don’t care if I am being “childish”
If the people at the end were struggling so much then how could they afford an electric violin
I am so glad you're calling those fakers out :-)))))
My sister (who is gullible to TikTok) literally drew on her piano so she could “learn” these songs
Omfg 💀 I may not play piano but if anyone drew on my instrument for *this* I'd kill them
Please don't let her leave the house without an adult to supervise her!
I don't play a piano and i want to learn it, anyway imo, I'm going to draw some letters on my piano (not numbers) because I'm a forgetful, I don't remember the keys.
Ps. My nieces ipad have a piano, it has keys that shown in it
@@mamen6486 if you do need to label the notes, I suggest using painter's tape and drawing on that. It comes off really easily!
tiktok kids can't even figure out which notes have the same shape as in the video
This absolutely bothers me. People act like it’s no big deal, but the MOMENT these people scam others for money during street performances, it plants a seed of mistrust in the audience. Now whenever real talented street musicians go out to play, their integrity is going to be questioned and it hurts them; PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY RELY ON THIS FOR INCOME. It’s not okay, your damaging the community as well as the musical integrity.
Exactly. When I busked I lived in a small town so didn't do that well with it. I'm disabled so I really needed that extra income. Those people are disgusting.
Preach it
Tiktok has advanced society’s stupidity by 200 years. Now the average person has been downgraded to quite near retarded. This is what overindulgence does to you. Don’t go through life whacked out on fads kids.
After reading this, just makes me want to make the scammers kneel on the ground and apologise to the real musicians

As someone who's been playing the piano for almost 11 years now, when i first saw those piano videos, i actually threw up a little from the sharpie on the keys

I just realized that after actually trying to tune my guitar, for the past year all I did was just playing random stuff on my ukulele on a single string.

I have touched the piano like twice in my life, but I do play guitar to a somewhat competent degree.
I was very confused why you were so upset in the first segment.
As soon as it got to the guitar segment, it became clear as day.
I am a child (10), and I am embarrassed to know that kids are actually believing this. I have been practicing piano for a while now and… this is just… horrible.
What I dont understand is: violins are not cheap instruments. So if those fake players rly were desperate for money, why the heck did they get a violin if not for the sole purpose of scamming people? Sell the violin instead then. I dont know these people but I always get the impression that violin scams are from people who are not really in a situation of deseperation and poverty at all.
right? It's a lot cheaper to buy a guitar. A lot easier to learn too.
I'd assume that isnt even a real violin
amazon for 5 bucks
@@LoreCatan But because there are more people who can play the guitar, I guess it would be harder to fake.
Probably more of a Violin Shaped Object. You can find those very cheap. :)

I am a self taught pianist for 3 years now and I gotta say these videos are probably the worst way to learn like not only are they wrong they can get you're pitch confused if you watch the video and then start playing the instrument.
The funny thing about the guitar "tutorials" is that when they number the strings, they number them in reverse! When you hold your guitar, the string closest to you is the sixth string, where the string farthest from you closest to the ground is the first string, with the other strings in-between following.
I think it's because that's how tabs are being played
