Tzuyang, the yellow spices on 8:08 on the fried chicken is not curry. It is Indonesia style marinated spices for Indonesia fried chicken and fish made from mixed herbs and spices, including turmeric that gives yellow color but not curry. Then on 10:28 it is Sambal Kikil Sapi, or the soft part of beef knuckles or foot. It looks like the skin part of beef but not. And Bakwan Jagung recommended by the staff is Indonesia style corn fritter. It is one of favorite dishes/snacks in all over Indonesia. On 16:55 is Sambal Telur Barendo. Telur Barendo is the Padangnese style of fried egg, which is commonly served at Nasi Padang/Nasi Kapau restaurants.

It's amazing Tzuyang got to try so many dishes. They all looked so good, and the people were all so friendly! 🫶 A restaurant like this in the USA would easily be $8 a plate. At $2 a plate, I could afford to eat small plate meals! Indonesia is definitely on my list of places I'd love to visit.

You can always ask the waiters first or asking to their staff once you're trying to enter their place before to make sure their dishes is halal or has some pork menu as it will make a cross contamination 🙂

@@thedreamerbossehi. Mostly the restaurant here serving halal dishes since we have so many muslim living here. You can always ask the waiters first or asking to their staff once you're trying to enter their place before to make sure their dishes is halal or has some pork menu as it will make a cross contamination 🙂
@@thedreamerbosseWhich city do you want to visit? you don't need to worry about hahal restaurants, more than 80% of us are muslims, of course there are more halal restaurants here. you may just need to avoid Chinese restaurants.
