Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Discovery Tour - Viking Age | Ubisoft [NA]

Best thing about these Discovery Tours, with Origins, Odyssey, and now Valhalla, is finding videos of actual historians and teachers playing and reviewing the content. Then showing how they use them to teach in seminars and courses.

Discovery Tour has been one of the best initiatives I've ever seen, just delivering an immersive, fun and interactive way to learn history from videogames hope they keep doing this on future games, I love content done from love and heart

Probably the best thing theyve added to this series. Discovery Tour should become a new IP from ubisoft tbh

This could become one of my favourite things in gaming, because I fell in love with this era after watching The Last Kingdom and Vikings, and Norse mythology is my favourite.

Dear Ubisoft: 2 quick things:
1. I LOVED Discovery Tour in Origins (which I finished yesterday) and thought “this would be even cooler if I could actively participate more”. So THANK YOU!
2. Many amazing cultures and times have been an incredible part of the franchise. However, as a South American person I would absolutely love a game in which you explore our part of the world. The Incas, the Mayas and the Aztecs would add, for sure, an incredible variety, not only because of historical factors, but also for gameplay and artistic reasons.

Norse mythology and the age of the Viking is the sole reason I bought the game! I’m so excited for this expansion!

Discovery Tour is the best learning tool that any company has ever done. It would be nice if Ubisoft could make a Discovery Tour for every time stamp of human culture. The application would really teach people to have respect and understanding for each other and the countries that they come from.

This needs to be spread more in other games that have to do with real history now this expansion not only is quite entertaining, it will teach the player about

I can’t put into words how excited I am to dive into this Discovery Tour. I thoroughly enjoyed the other ones, but as a lover of all things history ( especially Viking mythology and culture ) this one should be special. Well done Ubisoft.

It's a great time to be a history teacher.

I have always dreamed about something like this. Rather than be forced to fight, I would rather explore and experience. I hope we see the like for all sorts of times and places in history. This is a monumental step forward in humans' understanding of history

I am really enjoying this and learning the history. I wish that the type was larger and black so it could be read easier when the learning pages come up.

Ubi Soft I am immensely enjoying the adventure and storytelling, and education in this game. One thing I wish it had were points of interest. For example, while riding on the road to Lunden, I came across an arch, an aqueduct, some ruins and wondered, "what is the history here?" Then I entered Sherwood Forest and immediately thought, "Robin Hood! Where is his hidden encampment? Is there someplace I can visit to see Robin Hood?" I had many moments like that that I think a POI marker with information would be fantastic. I even entered what I assume are enemy encampments, but the people are so lovely. They go about their business and pay me no attention. But I wonder what their backstory was? What did they do? What were they like?

Deberían hacer los Discovery Tour de los anteriores Assassin's, a pesar que algunos de sus juegos anteriores no fueron los mejores, sus ambientaciones si lo son, desde el Assassin's 1 con Altair se nota un gran trabajo de ambientación, y por ello no creo que fuera el único que opina en un gran Discovery Tour de la Francia en plena revolución o la era dorada de la piratería, dónde las potencias coloniales fueron España, Inglaterra,etc...además de que deberían desarrollar un Assassin's ambientado en la primera o segunda guerra mundial, en la época del lejano oeste tipo Red Dead Redeption, y un Assassin's divido en tres partes sobre las culturas mesoamericanas...pero lo mejor son sus Discovery Tour que las disfruto al máximo 💪💪

They should make the discovery tour into a game this could revolutionize learning history

I only wish they would add subtitles for the Dutch language and such to the discovery game. That way it would actually be usable in classrooms way easier.

Ubisoft should do a free Discovery Tour mode for Unity and Syndicate along with graphical updates, along with standalone edition. It will sell like Hotcakes.

Thank you Ubisoft! Discovery tours are cool stuff! Also can you add some slow motion abilities in Valhalla like in ac Odyssey. Where you could slow time for 10 secs. And attack enemies with your one handed weapons. I guess that all players will like this ability. ❤💕💖 Ubisoft you are the best!!!

I really enjoyed the previous discovery tours but was really underwhelmed by this one - anyone else? Was really disappointed by the lack of voice acting at discovery sites and some of the characters just sounded like text to speech bots, Sister Winifred especially.

What a wonderful idea and concept. This game really has set the standard. It has been TREMENDOUS.

I’m just so confused I’ve only played the first story of this tour and how did you make that one story feel so like the time period the men and woman all from their time it felt respect of my culture for it’s time
So my question is how did that get thrown out the window from the entire main game cause you didn’t do that for the game cause the entire game didn’t get the feeling from just this first story line

Kinda hard to have a Viking game about that era in that area WITHOUT fighting since 90% of their "interactions" with the Anglo-saxons were invasions and pillaging

So is this built in the game? It comes with valhalla? Because this could be a reason to buy the 2 new games.. I'm not interested in the ridiculous months on end grind just to fight a boss. The assassin's creed games are terrible now. But if they have these tours in all the games then I'll for sure look into getting them cheap.
Also side note.. the narrator of this trailer pronounced a few of the names wrong lol
