I enjoyed it. I think it's okay to switch it up now and then and I immediately felt the intention of the game was to be fun. Between current events and the plethora of grimdark games out these days, I found this trailer refreshing.
I honestly thought it was great with that music- i like the whole art behind it
That Music killed the vibe! And locking the demo behind Stadia is a garbage move.

I would agree that locking the demo is a bit short-sighted, though.
I'm not defending anybody, but that the demo is only on Stadia clearly means Google paid to have the demo for themselves.

not like this matters but I actually like the new name Immortals Fenyx Rising sense while thats a mouthful it sounds less like a mobile game like Gods and Monsters but that's just me.While it needs some more polishes with textures and can change the UI to something more interesting.
The gameplay however looks good so far. I think Fenyx three weapons look cool especially the hammer. My favorite thing about this game is probably the different abilities particularly the bracers that can get you to enemies quicker and even grab enemy object like when you grab the boulder and throw back at minotaur.I also like how enemies will use the environment to there advantage. I also love the fact that you able to glide are the world and in combat you can also use it for more mobility. Also the vaults and trials look like a cool way of doing puzzles especially with platforming involved. This game also has a stamina when you glide and attack and while i'm not huge fan of stamina systems in games,you can get all your stamina back up with perfect dodges and potions so at least there being more fair about it.
Overall, while there are some improvements they can do here and there, Immortals looks promising so far and I'm definitely interested in it now.
Also, the whole comparison to breath of wild while it has puzzles,a back hop mechanic that slows down enemies(different from evade though.)and the potions and materials and fast travel i guess like breath of the wild. However i think its unfair to call this game a "rip off" especially when breath of the wild was more of a ground focused game rather the air like focus here in combat and puzzles in Immortals. Sometimes in breath of the wild you may want to just stealth the situation instead of enganging. Plus,Immortals has a skill tree which means there's going to be more ways to open your melee attacks in different ways in combat and with other weapons like the hammer and arrows. While breath of the wild doesn't have a skill tree system and is more focused on the armor and gear you have to boost up defense,mobility, offensive and resistance towards enemies. Plus, you have a variety of different elemental spells and abilities to use while in breath of the wild you have weapons and combat moves like Parry,the flurry rush and backhoping, theres no magic system in the game. Not hating on breath of the wild sense that's great game and i love the combat in that game. I just think it's unfair and over exaggerated just to call it a "rip off" of breath of the wild when there just do different action adventure games with similar mechanics. If you dislike the game then actually talk about the game and not just call it a "rip-off" or at least just give it a chance.

Man, I was really hoping for some co-op, mostly because I was hoping this game would be as close to the Percy Jackson type adventure and there aren't many good co-op games anymore, so this would've been a great one

@@TzsNatureWithJameelFar To be honest, the art style isn't like breath of the wild... I went back to BotW recently and it has that anime characters look with semi realistic textures on scenery. While this and other "BotW inspired" are all going for a hand painted vibe.

"To join Fenyx on her quest..." On their quest. They're making her a female character for marketing purposes, but you actually customize Fenyx to be a man, it's in the video.
Why does it matter? There were plenty of female Greek heroes like Atlanta.

Looks better than Breath of the Wild graphically, but somehow has less heart.
Also, I'm tired of the 'choose your own protagonist' because you're terrified that female protagonists won't sell. If Fenix is a girl, let her be a girl. That way, we can have some banter, jokes and other lines that are well directed at a singular character.
