Because they break balance that's why, what fun is PVP if other peoples gear will make them instant win just because they just so happen to have gotten better gear that also just so happens to be locked behind the raid making it impossible to get? Season 2 should be the peak of the game. Focused mostly on PvP on this PTS. Seems to me it would be nice for more safe houses PVE, Maybe, More focused Bounty boss(s). No?
Why not add a Hunter Stronghold full of hunters . Or add hunters to all missions randomly on challenge and guaranteed on Heroic just a suggestion. I'm personally taking a break from the game had my EB for a week and its getting nerfed not fair at all

They don’t listen to the community! Basically it’s a waste of time to even say what could make this game better. It’s a broken record of people asking to stop nerfing everything to the ground that they spend weeks getting. Also provide more than 4v4 modes this isn’t PlayStation 2 anymore. Darkzones need more players not just 12 players. The outfits suck. We would like more hunters also. Anything at this point. Your fan base has been begging only the new players agree with what you guys are doing. Eventually they’ll see what the hardcore players see and leave also. You guys shouldn’t be involved in the pvp anymore. You guys don’t listen to the hardcore gamers even the youtubers that cover the game don’t even wanna play it anymore.
It's extremely sad how much you guys do not listen to your community. "We hear you" does not translate to "We are listening to you." It's very senseless for any player to be dedicated to a franchise that 1.) thinks it's a great idea to form cliques within the community, sharing secrets with only the clique and not the community as a whole. (YES, your idiotic ETF) 2.) Continues to hide the rarest of items behind content that 95% of your player base can't complete (Dark Hours) or in areas they have no desire to enter (PVP). And for the record, my clan has shifted to mainly doing Raid carries now and using all of our keys to open chests for first-timers so they can have an attempt at the EB... which you're basically making obsolete now. 3.) Claims to care about what it's community thinks but doesn't show it with results. It would also help to have a less "abrasive" Community Developer that doesn't come off as argumentative and defensive anytime someone asks him sincere questions on social media. I'm sure he's is a great person, as a whole, but that doesn't translate into "approachable". Massive seems to have this "We'll tell you what you like and you'll take it, and like it" mentality, as it pertains to the Division 2 community. It's a dangerous game and it's one that Massive will lose if they're dependent on a loyal "paying and playing" community.
I love the idea that if EB gets brought down just a bit, its now irredeemable garbage not worth farming for at all. It's a nice, breakneck reactionary behavior I'm used to in this community by a population reminiscent of the insects from Starship Troopers.

Oh, so, when Game Informer interviewed Massive and Ubisoft and asked is the payer going to have total freedom of hw they build their characters? “Oh yeah, of course”, which is complete dogshit! Chris Gansler needs to be fired from his position. They listen to Streamers and KRplusrs and do everything they say and not listen to the community. Their raid broke up my clan! They became all about clears. I have players on my clan that have never finished the raid because it’s not fun. They made Boomer the hardest boss. @CircusKing I know Fam... I'm an old head, I'm 48 years old and I started gaming on a Commodore Vic-20 back in lime '82. (Buck Roger's was the drug of choice at the time.) I'm EXTREMELY brand loyal, even when I'm being critical. My father introduced me to gaming and we'd play Galaga for literally hours! We had a Galaga arcade game that my pops won in a 9-ball tournament and we had it in our basement. I told my wife that The Division is technixally and ideally the game that I've always dreamed of playing and I'm and tragically loyal to it, even though it continues to let me down. That's not mentally or emotionally healthy. Everything I say, I say it as a committed fan, I want to see the game succeed but I can't sit back and blow smoke to the Devs just to maintain harmony. I've noticed that Massive relies heavily on the Reddit community for input and while I'm not one that really likes Reddit (it reminds me of a smuggler's cantina from Star Wars) if they feel like it works for them... then whatever. I think they miss out on a lot of good feedback by not utilizing their own forums because there are people who don't use Reddit or social media. And, it may be because they don't want to pay mods to spend the countless hours that they will need to scrub out the negative comments they will surely get. I DO feel that they need a change as far as who's running their community development but far be it for me to ask that they fire the guy. I manage people on a daily basis and I own my own business, so the last thing I want is to see anyone lose their job, especially when they have a skill set that is valuable. And Chris obviously does... it's just not in the arena of dealing one on one with people or criticism IMO. @@ExCrushter Thanks for your response. You know what... after looking at the EB situation a little bit, I can kinda see what they're doing with it but it still doesn't sit right with me. The EB can still be OP and I think their main reason for the nerf is buried in their belief of the new Recalibration Station and Targeted Gear. I think they want people using the station to create builds that will offset the changes that they've made to the EB. If you heard them talk about the targeted gear and some of the stats that will be on them, it sounds like new AR/Weapon Damage perks may be available to add to current builds (?) or they may be stackable whereas they weren't before(?). And with the ability to swap attributes on gear, I think the changes won't be as harsh as we originally thought. I don't know man. Still, I don't like the idea of waiting all week "to get a chance at" a potential drop for a weapon that I've been grinding so hard to get and then once I get it, it's a shadow of its original self. That part doesn't make sense to me.
Oh wow! Thats it for conflict? It took you like 6 Months to add some more loot and a daily and a weekly? Don't get me wrong those changes are fine and I really appreciate the new game mode , but from my pov there is so much more what has to be done. The matchmaking ... is there even one? Talking about 1v4, 2v4 or my favorite 4x 100lvl vs. 4 player lvl 50 (in total) I was hoping for game mode with given agents to play. Lets say 4 or 5 different Agents vary in play-style, load out, whatever. It would have been easier for devs to balance, players could experience a new style of playing without a ridiculous amount of grinding for the gear, Agents could be added or taken as the game progresses. And still ...The whole process to play is ridiculous: start conflict to loading screen, to player-lobby, to loading screen, to match, to loading screen, to match results with the most necessary timer ever, to loading screen to finally the next player lobby. This can't be the best you guys came up with. Sorry The whole nerf/buff thing... I love the EB and obviously I would love to see no nerfs. But I can understand it. I would love to have more options when it comes to guns, and I like that ppl are constantly working on that. What I won't understand is, why is the answer always a nerf? Why don't you buff other weapons? You won't see any changes! Ppl will use their P416 instead. You won't see ppl playing with famas, f200, m4, submachine guns etc. ... Think about it ... Thank you for increasing the professional quality of the streams with transitions, camera angles, mics, etc. There were so many streams that would buffer or mics went low quality but I'm liking that someone out there is making these streams better.
Heres how its going to go. Nerf EB because people complained about it. Now everyones going to use p416. People will then cry about that, you will nerf it. People will then complain about next gun people metatize. Endless cycle here.
I get the nerf for PvP but not 15% should be about 5 - 7.5% but the nerf for pve is a absolute joke and just a massive middle finger to everyone who put so much effort in to obtain it
This game is trash. Devs dont listen to players that have spent hundreds and thousands of hours grinding div1 and div2. They are absolutely oblivious, cater to the complaining weaklings, and completely took the hardcore DZ experience from div1 and turned it into a clown fest for casuals. Havnt touched this game in over 2 months after preordering ultimate edition. Complete waste
The eagle should not be nerfed period! Especially in pve... It’s the hardest exotic to get in the game for a reason. If you nerf it, the only thing that will happen is that everyone will now just use LMG’s because they will still hit harder then any AR. Then you are buffing seekers too!?! I don’t understand what y’all are trying to do!?! The eagle is why everyone is still raiding, hell it’s a raid gun! I have two but I still raid every day to get all my clan mates and friends one. I feel like this game is going in the wrong direction. I hope you guys listen to the community and the hard core players.
We do the same or better said we did the same cuz nobody from my old clan wants to raid anymore and there are no new players willing to invest time in a soon broken exotic.
The Eagle Bearer is not "boring" in PVE, it's fun. Many people use it because it's fun to play with a powerful AR. If your definition of overpowered is that people like using it then you have the wrong definition. You knew an AR with high damage would be fun that's why you put it in the game. Stop the cycle of introducing OP weapons then nerfing them. It doesn't make people want to play more. I think you could put more effort into making other weapons fun to play with. Maybe consider a smaller nerf to the EB if you have to, you seem to go from one extreme to the other, i.e. Spotter.
Now ive watched the full thing, i think what people need to realise is the time it takes to get new content sorted and the balancing done etc. Im pleased the devs spend so much time on it and listening to the community. Ive never seen a game do a "state of the game" before, i mean i dont look for all games but i think this is a great segment of what td is for everyone involved. Keep it up guys, great work
Good morning, I am having an issue and was hoping for some advice. I leveled up a new character and done every mission required for tier V however my DZ is locked and I cannot talk with the DZ chick at all for the recon mission at DZ EAST! Please is this an issue with the servers?
Please fix the texture pop in on the PS4 pro, and sometimes I have no sound from the guns and I get shot by enemies I cannot hear or see. And enemies keeps spawning next to me or behind me so I got killed instantly. I hope you see this comment Ubisoft , I've bought the game several days ago and I love the game.
Since a lot people complaining about the eagle bearer damage Nerf. I think what you guys should do is buff the weapon damage by 10%. Nerf the talents Eagle's Strike: Accuracy increases as you continuously fire, up to 70% . Headshot kills grant +40% Reload Speed, +30% Damage, and the Tenacity buff for 10s. The strength of Tenacity is increased by 1% for body shots and 5% for headshots. Tenacity: 20-60% of damage taken is delayed until the buff expires. All of the total delayed damage is reduced for each enemy killed while the buff is active, up to 100% with five kills. I'm pretty sure going to get a lot of angry comments for this lol
We need more than 4v4 on tiny maps for Conflict, it got boring very fast and a new mode for this current setup will not keep us interested for long. Also, I'm not sure I understood what the current incentives for playing the DZ are, it's just a convoluted way of getting the same loot that can be much easier acquired in PVE (other than the Pestilence obviously). If there were at least some cosmetic incentives like there are for Conflict that would be better. The other changes you mentioned are good, but there should be a better way to change specialization on the fly along with loadout (or maybe that's included, it wasn't clear). I really hope the new balances will finally make for a more varied PVP meta, but I'm skeptical since it didn't work out too good in every other past update.
I hope these devs see these dislikes and don't immediately blame the dislikes on the EB nerf. We are disappointed with the pvp changes. We appreciate what WAS done but it's not what we're looking for.
If they had made it a proper mode instead of a 4v4 on tiny maps people would care. As it is it feels like some kind of alpha/beta placeholder until the proper PVP mode is introduced, except that it never happened.

I had the EB for months and i seen this nerf coming a long time ago. Everyone was trying to get it. Damm near the whole player base and soon as they got it all of them ran to the dark zone. It was a chance for someone who didnt have the EB to win. Thats what this game do. EVERYONE dose the SAME THING!!! And it got super boring. I Love the changes and it gives other people a chance to win and survive the EB era...

The devs must understand PvP players are not going into the dz for loot! They must understand players want to proof they are better than their opponents by out skilling them in face to face combat, not who has the better aim with a better 3117 build wins. They must understand the reason why PvP in 1.8.2 was so popular, a good player can literally fight 8 people at the same time, everyone has a chance! We need to have a skill gap!

Without 8v8 in PvP, Conflict is dead! Last Stand was the best mode ever created for Division PvP! Modern Warfare is giving us 50v50! I know what game I and most of my friends will be playing come October 25! Div2 is dead!
Dear Devs. Please fix the audio bug on pc! When wearing headphones, the shooting audio get stuttering, and the frames go down, and then it crashes back to desktop. It ruins the game
Eliminate the broken pvp meta (tons of blues, no reds and still tons of damage) and remove skill batteries. Also eliminate the shared heals with non squad members. It’s leading to ridiculous gun fights in conflict or dz. it’s literally hip fire in each other’s heals. Bring back no shooting when burning and just get rid of hip fire all together
Dear devs, this is the second time you have nerfed the unstoppable force. First time you nerfed it 250%. Most of the players use berserk instead of unstoppable force, so why nerf it? it is not like we are running with 800,000 armour. on average players have 250,000 armour with unstoppable force. Dont nerf it, cap it around e.g. 50% weapon damage. Now I gotta make a new build with low armour n high health with berserk. Please don't nerf unstoppable force, but rather buff it.
"If im solo id probably want to stick to the easier difficulties"...no...the exact opposite, we build to be a god damn 1 man team, test your gear to be the best. I get it though, theres a lot of casuals who cant do it solo, however those of us who can waste a 4 man team solo are looking for a challenge so we do the hardest ones solo. Tbh im a bit underwhelmed by this. I think we could have capped it at 16 players, that would have pleased more people than new supply drops. As always though, i'll be trying it out as a dz'er
I don’t think the eb nerf is needed tbh and I hope they view it as a ‘test ‘ server and not keep the -15% weapon damage but rather buff the other weapons

EB Nerf is a good thing for PVP, It was soooo Frustrating when I fight...I mean Guaranteed Lose against EB. Not sure about PVE, Raids will be lot less important If EB was nerfed so hard.
I was a div 2 players and huge fan of it. But since i rush everything and nothing to do. I left the game and sold it. I jumped to destiny 2, huge shock with forsaken expansion, both pvp and pve really amazing. Raid and gambit (combination pvp and pve) is awesome... Gonna but expansion right away

they refuse to make the the darkzone player cap higher or redesign the crappy three darkzones .also I guarantee something will be broken when the update comes , and only like one team elimination mode is coming lmao with only 4v4. I DO feel that they need a change as far as who's running their community development but far be it for me to ask that they fire the guy. I manage people on a daily basis and I own my own business, so the last thing I want is to see anyone lose their job, especially when they have a skill set that is valuable. And Chris obviously does... it's just not in the arena of dealing one on one with people or criticism IMO. He's a very likeable person but then he responds to a question of yours and just comes off like a dictator who is above being asked anything at all. That drives me nuts because it doesn't promote good communication and if your job is to "communicate", then your secondary skillset ought to be conflict resolution.

@@ExCrushter Thanks for your response. You know what... after looking at the EB situation a little bit, I can kinda see what they're doing with it but it still doesn't sit right with me. The EB can still be OP and I think their main reason for the nerf is buried in their belief of the new Recalibration Station and Targeted Gear. I think they want people using the station to create builds that will offset the changes that they've made to the EB. If you heard them talk about the targeted gear and some of the stats that will be on them, it sounds like new AR/Weapon Damage perks may be available to add to current builds (?) or they may be stackable whereas they weren't before(?). And with the ability to swap attributes on gear, I think the changes won't be as harsh as we originally thought. I don't know man.
Still, I don't like the idea of waiting all week "to get a chance at" a potential drop for a weapon that I've been grinding so hard to get and then once I get it, it's a shadow of its original self. That part doesn't make sense to me.

Don't get me wrong those changes are fine and I really appreciate the new game mode , but from my pov there is so much more what has to be done.
The matchmaking ... is there even one? Talking about 1v4, 2v4 or my favorite 4x 100lvl vs. 4 player lvl 50 (in total)
I was hoping for game mode with given agents to play. Lets say 4 or 5 different Agents vary in play-style, load out, whatever.
It would have been easier for devs to balance, players could experience a new style of playing without a ridiculous amount of grinding for the gear, Agents could be added or taken as the game progresses.
And still ...The whole process to play is ridiculous: start conflict to loading screen, to player-lobby, to loading screen, to match, to loading screen, to match results with the most necessary timer ever, to loading screen to finally the next player lobby.

The whole nerf/buff thing... I love the EB and obviously I would love to see no nerfs. But I can understand it. I would love to have more options when it comes to guns, and I like that ppl are constantly working on that. What I won't understand is, why is the answer always a nerf? Why don't you buff other weapons? You won't see any changes! Ppl will use their P416 instead. You won't see ppl playing with famas, f200, m4, submachine guns etc. ... Think about it ... But please don't buff like you did with mines. I mean, come on 300times the damage. Easy boy

Thank you for increasing the professional quality of the streams with transitions, camera angles, mics, etc. There were so many streams that would buffer or mics went low quality but I'm liking that someone out there is making these streams better.
Heres how its going to go. Nerf EB because people complained about it. Now everyones going to use p416. People will then cry about that, you will nerf it. People will then complain about next gun people metatize. Endless cycle here.

This game is trash. Devs dont listen to players that have spent hundreds and thousands of hours grinding div1 and div2. They are absolutely oblivious, cater to the complaining weaklings, and completely took the hardcore DZ experience from div1 and turned it into a clown fest for casuals. Havnt touched this game in over 2 months after preordering ultimate edition. Complete waste

The eagle should not be nerfed period! Especially in pve... It’s the hardest exotic to get in the game for a reason. If you nerf it, the only thing that will happen is that everyone will now just use LMG’s because they will still hit harder then any AR. Then you are buffing seekers too!?! I don’t understand what y’all are trying to do!?! The eagle is why everyone is still raiding, hell it’s a raid gun! I have two but I still raid every day to get all my clan mates and friends one. I feel like this game is going in the wrong direction. I hope you guys listen to the community and the hard core players.

The Eagle Bearer is not "boring" in PVE, it's fun. Many people use it because it's fun to play with a powerful AR. If your definition of overpowered is that people like using it then you have the wrong definition. You knew an AR with high damage would be fun that's why you put it in the game. Stop the cycle of introducing OP weapons then nerfing them. It doesn't make people want to play more. I think you could put more effort into making other weapons fun to play with. Maybe consider a smaller nerf to the EB if you have to, you seem to go from one extreme to the other, i.e. Spotter.

Now ive watched the full thing, i think what people need to realise is the time it takes to get new content sorted and the balancing done etc. Im pleased the devs spend so much time on it and listening to the community. Good morning, I am having an issue and was hoping for some advice. I leveled up a new character and done every mission required for tier V however my DZ is locked and I cannot talk with the DZ chick at all for the recon mission at DZ EAST! Please is this an issue with the servers?

Since a lot people complaining about the eagle bearer damage Nerf. I think what you guys should do is buff the weapon damage by 10%. Nerf the talents
Eagle's Strike: Accuracy increases as you continuously fire, up to 70% . Headshot kills grant +40% Reload Speed, +30% Damage, and the Tenacity buff for 10s. The strength of Tenacity is increased by 1% for body shots and 5% for headshots.
Tenacity: 20-60% of damage taken is delayed until the buff expires. All of the total delayed damage is reduced for each enemy killed while the buff is active, up to 100% with five kills.

We need more than 4v4 on tiny maps for Conflict, it got boring very fast and a new mode for this current setup will not keep us interested for long. Also, I'm not sure I understood what the current incentives for playing the DZ are, it's just a convoluted way of getting the same loot that can be much easier acquired in PVE (other than the Pestilence obviously). If there were at least some cosmetic incentives like there are for Conflict that would be better. The other changes you mentioned are good, but there should be a better way to change specialization on the fly along with loadout (or maybe that's included, it wasn't clear). I really hope the new balances will finally make for a more varied PVP meta, but I'm skeptical since it didn't work out too good in every other past update.
I would still be very happy to se the L85A2 assault rifle in the game eventually please.

I hope these devs see these dislikes and don't immediately blame the dislikes on the EB nerf. We are disappointed with the pvp changes. We appreciate what WAS done but it's not what we're looking for.

If they had made it a proper mode instead of a 4v4 on tiny maps people would care. As it is it feels like some kind of alpha/beta placeholder until the proper PVP mode is introduced, except that it never happened.

I had the EB for months and i seen this nerf coming a long time ago. Everyone was trying to get it. Damm near the whole player base and soon as they got it all of them ran to the dark zone. It was a chance for someone who didnt have the EB to win. Thats what this game do. EVERYONE dose the SAME THING!!! And it got super boring. I Love the changes and it gives other people a chance to win and survive the EB era...

The devs must understand PvP players are not going into the dz for loot! They must understand players want to proof they are better than their opponents by out skilling them in face to face combat, not who has the better aim with a better 3117 build wins. They must understand the reason why PvP in 1.8.2 was so popular, a good player can literally fight 8 people at the same time, everyone has a chance! We need to have a skill gap!

Eliminate the broken pvp meta (tons of blues, no reds and still tons of damage) and remove skill batteries. Also eliminate the shared heals with non squad members. It’s leading to ridiculous gun fights in conflict or dz. it’s literally hip fire in each other’s heals. Bring back no shooting when burning and just get rid of hip fire all together

Dear devs, this is the second time you have nerfed the unstoppable force. First time you nerfed it 250%. Most of the players use berserk instead of unstoppable force, so why nerf it? it is not like we are running with 800,000 armour. on average players have 250,000 armour with unstoppable force. Dont nerf it, cap it around e.g. 50% weapon damage. Now I gotta make a new build with low armour n high health with berserk. Please don't nerf unstoppable force, but rather buff it.

How are ads in the DZ change PVP. We need PVP changes in DZ, not more PVE in the DZ. get rid of supply drops in ODZ. Should be no special ammo in ODZ.

I get it though, theres a lot of casuals who cant do it solo, however those of us who can waste a 4 man team solo are looking for a challenge so we do the hardest ones solo.

I was a div 2 players and huge fan of it. But since i rush everything and nothing to do. I left the game and sold it. I jumped to destiny 2, huge shock with forsaken expansion, both pvp and pve really amazing. Raid and gambit (combination pvp and pve) is awesome... Gonna but expansion right away
Do not nerf EB in pve. Exotic is EXOTIC which mean u feel powerful. Those whose like this video doesn't have EB.
We need something similar to the old contamination events from D1 in the dz more to do other than just landmarks for loot

they refuse to make the the darkzone player cap higher or redesign the crappy three darkzones .also I guarantee something will be broken when the update comes , and only like one team elimination mode is coming lmao with only 4v4. I quit the game a month ago and with redstorm still running pvp I will not return .
All they have to do is copy division 1 fast paced pvp with insta heals (bugger off the healing over time! We want to time our heals!) then copy division 2 pve and MaKe a DiViSiOn 3 (with fully automatic lwm4 🤭) lol

Since when do consumers make excuses for the corporation? They haven’t delivered on promises plain and simple. The main one... making a game that works! They couldn’t even leave the expeditions up because they didn’t finish them. There are a lot more promises they made besides letting you log in early.
