As someone who played the technical test alpha not to long ago, this is already a major step up from where it was. And if they can polish up what they had then to now in that time, I feel confident in the full release. Itll still ship with bugs I have no doubt about that, all games do, but i feel this one will still be a good game
khoa nguyen I’m not denying that, I just think that Ubisoft (a company that’s global and large, expensive and rich) should stp focusing on releasing “good games” but start targeting that excellent/masterpiece level. Most Ubisoft games are enjoyable but they never get more than a 8,9/10 on any review, I really want Ubisoft to take time with their games and release them when they are in near perfect state like rockstar games or naughty dog
Enjoying most of the game but please for the love of god allow people to disable seeing others in the hub and give people an option to bypass the stupid gearscore. This game is having a serious identity crisis right now, if I wanted to play The Division I'd play The Division.
The issue is they add so many menu options that 75% of the game is spent in the menu and not the gameplay department. Half of the time you are upgrading a skill tree, reading objectives, rewards, picking weapons, hats, vests, shoes, pants, upgrading this, skill level that. Its a menu simulator.
Ok... So far so good in the trailer. I'm playing the beta and I have some feedback. First. The controls in general are kinda goofy and nonresposive; even more with vehicles. It looks like you went back. In Wildlands the controls were a lot better. 2. It has problems with fps loss and bugs on dialogues screens and sometimes in game. 3. I'm love some mechanics, but even tho, I'm not quite happy withe the implementation of those mechanics in a "The Division" style. In between other problems... In general it appears that will be a good game, BUT needs a lot of improvement.
@@luismosqueda7456 it's called FEEDBACK. I aware it's a beta and it's not perfect, but come on, I guess everyone has played at least one beta that left a good taste. This is like very average and meh. I trust in Ubi, cuz I enjoyed Wildlands a lot with all the updates. Also I'm a hardcore fan of R6Siege and I know they can make an excellent work in the future with Breakpoint.

Listened to Beta players on YT who discussed the level elements, they said they were divided on the idea because it's like another division, which might require grinding (limited gameplay so they couldn't experience all of it), but it adds another element into the game that's not simply run with the same weapon to complete repetitive missions over and over again.
Why did you turn this into Division Oddyssey with gear stats ? This is a tactical shooter not a damn rpg. Still unsure whether or not to cancel, can't even stay on the beta long enough without getting booted to give it some playtime.

They need to go back to wildlands bullet ballistics. They have the division enemy and gear level bullshit which is fun in the division, but for a game like Breakpoint it is just stupid. Other than that though i like it.
You will still be able to one shot, headshot any enemies. They explained that you will always deal the same damage, but the damage the enemies deal to you will be different. So the RPG elements are not going to ruin it for you.

DominoEffect2528 I like the loot gear it gives me a reason to go over and open a chest as opposed to just getting useless fuel points like wildlands had. It also allows for better post end game play.
Tyler Brock well in the first game you could just find the guns and it felt rewarding instead of now were you just get a random colored gun with different stats that can replaced with a next random loot drop.

Its the same stupid situation like AC Origins and Odyssey. Origins had movment OK, and odyssey fucked it up along other things but thats irrelevant. Yes sure, they have some cool animations, but the base stuff like running and walking is pain to watch.

The social hub is definitely a massive turn off for many, in solo, you and your 3 AIs walk into the hub, now there are another 30 people there, when you walk out, left with 4. Immersion breaking. Wildlands is underrated, I miss the jokes Holt shared with the team, had good time with the boys.
am playing closed beta for 5 hours and there is alot of bugs you guys gotta work hard to fix it all, if game will release like that it would be a big failure and dont say I already contacted with support
I played the beta. I only got 3 crashes and one glitch ( falling into the ground). Other than that I found no issue. The game as a whole is another topic for debate.

Is the game going to be playable offline like wildlands? Or are you still going with the online only logic Ubisoft? if so. Not buying it as sucks as it looks great.

Man, this trailer kinda makes me want this...then I remember I played the beta and realize the trailer is way cooler than the actual game. What is Breakpoint? Breakpoint is The Division 2.5: Thunder Island Edition.
1. Fix the UI (who thought that a mouse cursor on a console is a good idea?) 2. Make all of the cosmetic gear ulocked (or atleast purchasable in Maria's store immediately).(Shirts, Pants, Vests, Helmets, etc) 3. Make headgear visible in the cutscenes 4. Post-launch release the AI teammates and an offline survival mode ala Wildlands where gearscore doesn't exist.
A fantastic experience, as it was mentioned in my Beta version that I played, game is not final nor are all elements implemented re. Picture mode was there but couldn't use it for Beta as common sense would say NOT FINAL BUILD. People are always so quick to judge instead of actually reading the information provided, that stated work in progress. Thank God there are still a few intelligent gamers left, that can read and understand, as this is exactly why I game solo. Thank you Ubisoft for the opportunity to try out your unfinished game, so that I could have an idea of what to expect when this game launches... Life is short people, spend more time laughing and having fun, less time complaining. Have an awesome week.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the devs did say on forums gear score affects only raids, elite enemies like wolves and heavy drones and some bosses I think. You wont get the same weapons you already have with a better score. You'll get say a lmg that has a better score than your shotgun but you can still use both effectively in the world. Your weapons also start at MK1 and go up to 3 or 4. This increases their rarity and gear score. This loot system honestly is far from being an exact copy of the divisions. It drops heat pretty similar to that game but the way it uses the gear is vastly different. You dont have to equip new higher gear to survive and kill in the world. Not doing so in the Divison is a death sentence. In breakpoint you are still pretty effective. Everyone is flipping out on it but I dont think they dove much into it other than just what was superficial. I dont blame them cause the gear dropping and rarity turned me away at first but after playing for about 4 - 5 hours of the beta and some on the alpha and tts I think I get what the system is meant to do and I'm actually ok with it for now
Looks badass....but... 1) "Gear up accordingly" Beta: Almost an endless supply of weapons in your backpack to use or dismantle for parts. 2) "Heal yourself with useful resources" Beta: You're self healing, so no need to stress. 3) "Full survival mode" Beta: Not survival as in hunger, dehydration or effected by weather/regions as you would expect to "survive" in the wilderness etc. but "survival" in terms of using resources for battle enhancements only if you want to. Never thought I could say "Survival is not required" in a sentence. 4) "Gunsmith to customize weapons with endless supply of parts" Beta: Color coded and level base Division loot style that conveniently wasn't shown during this trailer. Including the central HUB Online Players stumble in as a central base and even just like Destiny. 5) PVP Experience with shrinking map. Beta: Fortnite Style - True authentic battle experience. This trailer does an AMAZING JOB hyping what the players want!!! Wildland's Mechanics as a lone-survivor in the field to take on the wolves solo or co-op!...But unfortunately its not entirely accurate or should I say very misleading. Does it make it a bad game? No, it's just not what Wildland fans were expecting....The badass Wildlands mechanics have been replaced by the Division's mechanics which has shocked many in a negative way after the Beta......
Im having a lot of fun right now with the beta. Just walking for 20 minutes to a mission was really awesome. In wildlands it was kind of boring, but here you always have to watch out for drones, or else you will get spotted. I dont know about anyone else, but for me the audio is quite silent, even if I turn all the settings up, in-game and on my pc. While there are somtimes bugs, it plays quite good and stable. The new movement system is definetly something else, lol :D After 2 hours though, I got used to it. And I like all the animations of the character. Overall I am quite pleased and looking forward to the release, so I can do actual missions and explore the whole map.

@@zack9912000 no kidding. For me, GRAW 1 and 2 were what ghost recon was. Slow, Tactical, realistic, first person shooter action. Not third person with xray goggles and drones and tagging and marking and executing. Sure Graw had drones and tagging, but it was utilized to such a small extent (sometimes mission specific) that it was never an easy mode crutch like it is in Gr:fs, gr:wl, and gr:bp
Ubisoft. Classes, online only and tiered loot will prevent me from buying this game. I had such high hopes for this game. Better equipment, better visuals, more realistic character melees and damage and you go and ruin it with the need for level 30 boots and gloves. Smdh

Heard about the gear leveling system like the Division, please take it out. Ghost Recon should be purely tactical and if possible played offline Pants are not armor, gloves are not armor but helmet and vests are. Guns should inflict comparable damages and realistically take down any person, not be dampened because of a level 150 armor rating for a wolf. How does that fits into realism?? Other players are pulling all sorts of stupid stuffs and they are immersion breaking. Let players play offline or you will see a huge boycott, im not kidding Keep it like wildlands in terms of gameplay

Flexn G's I have an LG OLED with HDR. The beta does NOT look like this. Textures are muddier and none of the distance shots look anywhere near this clean. This is absolutely High End PC footage.

You can't be a grounded, authentic tactical shooter with colorful tiered loot, leveled enemies, and a ridiculous plot with robot boss fights. How can something be grounded with leveled enemies? It's an oxymoron. It's also somehow a "lone wolf, behind enemy lines" concept while also being co-op focused. They keep calling it one thing while throwing in mechanics that completely undermine what they're calling it.

If Breakpoint follows the “bad ending” of Wildlands, that wretch of a CIA stooge is behind bars for good. But either way, knowing those CIA pigs, I doubt they’ll let her be locked up for too long.
Bowman is a CIA CO stationed in a deep-undercover mission in Bolivia with only one task: take down the Santa Blanca drug cartel. She succeeded in her mission. Whether or not Operation Oracle having Bowman as a contact is canonically correct is debatable at best. She was more of a "contact" and nothing more than that in the post-DLC cross-over episodes. The cross-overs (with the exception of OO) were nothing more than extra missions to add to a dying game. Wildlands is still played by many, including myself, but was losing interest among it's player base. Unlike Siege which has continuous updates keeping the game fresh through annual "season passes," Wildlands is a linear game-start to game-end with a clear goal for the player to accomplish. This makes it nearly impossible to continuously add upon unlike a strictly multiplayer force-on-force (PVP) gaming experience such as R6S. This is why Breakpoint is a great sequel and, if Ubisoft plays their cards right, they can reignite interest in Wildlands without alienating the new Breakpoint audience. There will be a guaranteed alienation from OG Wildlanders who began their journey in Wildlands (me) and those who began is Breakpoint. These new-comers are likely to be high-school students and recent HS grads/college students. The same could be said about OG GRers who have been playing Ghost Recon since it's Xbox and 360 days. This has gotten quite off track from the original question, so to wrap it up, I'll make a quick TL;DR below: Karen Bowman is a CIA Case Officer tasked by her Operations Director (classified as Directorate of Operations). This being said, Breakpoint is a game involving the Ghosts, an Army SOF unit traditionally tasked and overseen by US DOA SOC, US DOD or JSOC. All of these different command groups work alongside the CIA (as opposed to the DIA) therefore, Karen Bowman, a CIA CO tasked with one goal (Operation Kingslayer in which she has spent five years doing her job as a CIA agent, gathering intelligence, before calling in the hit team to finally deliver to fatal blow on the Cartel with good intelligence mapping out for the SOF team how to go about doing so in order to finally deliver Kingpin himself to the US DOJ) has finally achieved her mission's end - her end goal - the CIA operation's successful completion. This is now less of a TL;DR, but whatever. Think of GRW in the same lenses of the search for Bin Laden. After 9/11, the entire US DOD and IC were rushed to the ME in order to hunt for Bin Laden and bring him to justice. After years of intel work with the DOD, JSOC, and various IC (namely CIA, NSA, and NGA), a CIA CO was eventually able to track down the exact whereabouts of Bin Laden. Shortly thereafter, DEVGRU (at the time known as ST6 in order to blend in among the other SEAL Teams similar to what we now know as "Delta Force" being formerly known as ODD or Operational Detachment Delta) was sent in to kill or capture OBL (Kingfish was his official code-named designation). Once the mission was over, the DOD and IC were left picking up the pieces of a now splintered terrorist organization. Then we had ISIS which was eventually defeated leading to even more splintering. Now we're right back to square one trying to figure out when the next cell will attack and from where. Ideological terrorism is near impossible to defeat and even more so to circumvent or stop before they attack. Bringing this a full 360, Bowman was unique to Wildlands because she was who was designated for that operation. Breakpoint (I don't know who ordered the Ghosts to insert, yet - haven't played the Beta but can presume from teasers and the official release trailer that the US Gov. or DOD sent them in) is different in that this seems to be a Ghost on Ghost or Blue on Blue style game. It will have the same linear game-play (albeit not a COD type, but a GR type with a game-start and game-end how you get there is up to you style) unlike R6 or even the Division. R6 is again unique in that since there is a lack of storyline and new characters being constantly added and changed to keep player interested in their game. It's what I call the Fortnite effect. That is why Karen Bowman is not in Breakpoint. It does not involve her. She is not a Ghost. She is a CIA CO who invited the Ghosts in under her cooperation in that she has intel, the Ghosts have firepower. The Ghosts were a means to an end in GRW.
all the realism in the world wouldn't satisfy you lot; if you don't like the MANY improvements they've made, go do some mudding and 3 gun training like real men and quit whining. if you want to be productive though, go give feedback on the boards and contribute to the game like a positive human being, sheesh!
The Game is really promising! Good Job guys! But please I need to be able to whistle to attract enemy and melee them from cover -fix the dirt bike handling it was better in Wildlands -shoot while driving bike or car -offline for singleplayer at least like wildlands it wasn't impossible to play singleplayer -some driving cars have bad behavior when driving
@@francescofioroni70 I dont care what year it is. My campus blocks certain connections so any ubisoft game doesnt work. Go tell them its 2019. Also theres no good reason for the game to be online only. Also Id like to be able to play my singleplayer game in 10 years when the servers are shut down.

It isnt a direct looter shooter. That what culture and IGN video on it didnt quote the forums. The devs said that the gear score will not give you the same weapons you already have but better. It will give you a shotgun that may be a higher gear score than your lmg but it really only applies to enemies like the heavy drones, wolves, bosses, and raids. You can still use any weapon you want and if they aren't armored snipe their head and be done with it. People are flipping on the hear score (I was a little too) but the devs honestly have a pretty good idea since it doesnt really effect the world but just really the end game coop boss stuff. Also your weapons and gear start at MK1. You can level them up to I beleive MK4 or 5 and that increases their gear score and rarity. This game is honestly nothing like the divison. It drops loot.sure but the Divison it is not

It's nothing like Division 2 where loot is literally thrown at you and you're constantly having to empty out your bags... Not even close. There's nothing wrong with adding RPG elements to the game. The numbers on ememies and gear is just that... Numbers. You still do the same damage and headshots kill regardless of level... The only difference is that higher level enemies hit harder.

The social hub is definitely a massive turn off for many, in solo, you and your 3 AIs walk into the hub, now there are another 30 people there, when you walk out, left with 4. Immersion breaking. Wildlands is underrated, I miss the jokes Holt shared with the team, had good time with the boys.

1. Fix the UI (who thought that a mouse cursor on a console is a good idea?)
2. Make all of the cosmetic gear ulocked (or atleast purchasable in Maria's store immediately).(Shirts, Pants, Vests, Helmets, etc)
3. Make headgear visible in the cutscenes
4. Post-launch release the AI teammates and an offline survival mode ala Wildlands where gearscore doesn't exist.

A fantastic experience, as it was mentioned in my Beta version that I played, game is not final nor are all elements implemented re. Picture mode was there but couldn't use it for Beta as common sense would say NOT FINAL BUILD. People are always so quick to judge instead of actually reading the information provided, that stated work in progress. Thank God there are still a few intelligent gamers left, that can read and understand, as this is exactly why I game solo. Thank you Ubisoft for the opportunity to try out your unfinished game, so that I could have an idea of what to expect when this game launches... Life is short people, spend more time laughing and having fun, less time complaining. Have an awesome week.
I really, REALLY hope the SPAS-12 shotgun appears in this. It’s my favorite weapon of all time!
Correct me if I'm wrong but the devs did say on forums gear score affects only raids, elite enemies like wolves and heavy drones and some bosses I think. You wont get the same weapons you already have with a better score. You'll get say a lmg that has a better score than your shotgun but you can still use both effectively in the world. Your weapons also start at MK1 and go up to 3 or 4. This increases their rarity and gear score. This loot system honestly is far from being an exact copy of the divisions. It drops heat pretty similar to that game but the way it uses the gear is vastly different. You dont have to equip new higher gear to survive and kill in the world. Not doing so in the Divison is a death sentence. In breakpoint you are still pretty effective. Everyone is flipping out on it but I dont think they dove much into it other than just what was superficial. I dont blame them cause the gear dropping and rarity turned me away at first but after playing for about 4 - 5 hours of the beta and some on the alpha and tts I think I get what the system is meant to do and I'm actually ok with it for now

Beta: You're self healing, so no need to stress.
3) "Full survival mode"
Beta: Not survival as in hunger, dehydration or effected by weather/regions as you would expect to "survive" in the wilderness etc. but "survival" in terms of using resources for battle enhancements only if you want to. Never thought I could say "Survival is not required" in a sentence.
4) "Gunsmith to customize weapons with endless supply of parts"
Beta: Color coded and level base Division loot style that conveniently wasn't shown during this trailer. Including the central HUB Online Players stumble in as a central base and even just like Destiny.
5) PVP Experience with shrinking map.
Beta: Fortnite Style - True authentic battle experience.
This trailer does an AMAZING JOB hyping what the players want!!! Wildland's Mechanics as a lone-survivor in the field to take on the wolves solo or co-op!...But unfortunately its not entirely accurate or should I say very misleading. Does it make it a bad game? No, it's just not what Wildland fans were expecting....The badass Wildlands mechanics have been replaced by the Division's mechanics which has shocked many in a negative way after the Beta......

Im having a lot of fun right now with the beta. Just walking for 20 minutes to a mission was really awesome. In wildlands it was kind of boring, but here you always have to watch out for drones, or else you will get spotted.
I dont know about anyone else, but for me the audio is quite silent, even if I turn all the settings up, in-game and on my pc. While there are somtimes bugs, it plays quite good and stable. The new movement system is definetly something else, lol :D After 2 hours though, I got used to it. And I like all the animations of the character.
Overall I am quite pleased and looking forward to the release, so I can do actual missions and explore the whole map.

@@zack9912000 no kidding. For me, GRAW 1 and 2 were what ghost recon was. Slow, Tactical, realistic, first person shooter action. Not third person with xray goggles and drones and tagging and marking and executing. Sure Graw had drones and tagging, but it was utilized to such a small extent (sometimes mission specific) that it was never an easy mode crutch like it is in Gr:fs, gr:wl, and gr:bp

Pants are not armor, gloves are not armor but helmet and vests are. Guns should inflict comparable damages and realistically take down any person, not be dampened because of a level 150 armor rating for a wolf. How does that fits into realism?? Uh, I think the level of the enemy means that only THEIR damage on you will be high, but you will make the same damage for all enemy levels.

Flexn G's I have an LG OLED with HDR. The beta does NOT look like this. Textures are muddier and none of the distance shots look anywhere near this clean. This is absolutely High End PC footage.

Bowman is a CIA CO stationed in a deep-undercover mission in Bolivia with only one task: take down the Santa Blanca drug cartel. She succeeded in her mission. Whether or not Operation Oracle having Bowman as a contact is canonically correct is debatable at best. She was more of a "contact" and nothing more than that in the post-DLC cross-over episodes. The cross-overs (with the exception of OO) were nothing more than extra missions to add to a dying game. Wildlands is still played by many, including myself, but was losing interest among it's player base. Unlike Siege which has continuous updates keeping the game fresh through annual "season passes," Wildlands is a linear game-start to game-end with a clear goal for the player to accomplish. This makes it nearly impossible to continuously add upon unlike a strictly multiplayer force-on-force (PVP) gaming experience such as R6S. This is why Breakpoint is a great sequel and, if Ubisoft plays their cards right, they can reignite interest in Wildlands without alienating the new Breakpoint audience. There will be a guaranteed alienation from OG Wildlanders who began their journey in Wildlands (me) and those who began is Breakpoint. These new-comers are likely to be high-school students and recent HS grads/college students. The same could be said about OG GRers who have been playing Ghost Recon since it's Xbox and 360 days. This has gotten quite off track from the original question, so to wrap it up, I'll make a quick TL;DR below:
Karen Bowman is a CIA Case Officer tasked by her Operations Director (classified as Directorate of Operations). This being said, Breakpoint is a game involving the Ghosts, an Army SOF unit traditionally tasked and overseen by US DOA SOC, US DOD or JSOC. All of these different command groups work alongside the CIA (as opposed to the DIA) therefore, Karen Bowman, a CIA CO tasked with one goal (Operation Kingslayer in which she has spent five years doing her job as a CIA agent, gathering intelligence, before calling in the hit team to finally deliver to fatal blow on the Cartel with good intelligence mapping out for the SOF team how to go about doing so in order to finally deliver Kingpin himself to the US DOJ) has finally achieved her mission's end - her end goal - the CIA operation's successful completion.
This is now less of a TL;DR, but whatever.
Think of GRW in the same lenses of the search for Bin Laden. After 9/11, the entire US DOD and IC were rushed to the ME in order to hunt for Bin Laden and bring him to justice. After years of intel work with the DOD, JSOC, and various IC (namely CIA, NSA, and NGA), a CIA CO was eventually able to track down the exact whereabouts of Bin Laden. Shortly thereafter, DEVGRU (at the time known as ST6 in order to blend in among the other SEAL Teams similar to what we now know as "Delta Force" being formerly known as ODD or Operational Detachment Delta) was sent in to kill or capture OBL (Kingfish was his official code-named designation). Once the mission was over, the DOD and IC were left picking up the pieces of a now splintered terrorist organization. Then we had ISIS which was eventually defeated leading to even more splintering. Now we're right back to square one trying to figure out when the next cell will attack and from where. Ideological terrorism is near impossible to defeat and even more so to circumvent or stop before they attack.
Bringing this a full 360, Bowman was unique to Wildlands because she was who was designated for that operation. Breakpoint (I don't know who ordered the Ghosts to insert, yet - haven't played the Beta but can presume from teasers and the official release trailer that the US Gov. or DOD sent them in) is different in that this seems to be a Ghost on Ghost or Blue on Blue style game. It will have the same linear game-play (albeit not a COD type, but a GR type with a game-start and game-end how you get there is up to you style) unlike R6 or even the Division. R6 is again unique in that since there is a lack of storyline and new characters being constantly added and changed to keep player interested in their game. It's what I call the Fortnite effect.
That is why Karen Bowman is not in Breakpoint. It does not involve her. She is not a Ghost. She is a CIA CO who invited the Ghosts in under her cooperation in that she has intel, the Ghosts have firepower. The Ghosts were a means to an end in GRW.
The Vehicles have terrible physics and sound like 💩

It isnt a direct looter shooter. That what culture and IGN video on it didnt quote the forums. The devs said that the gear score will not give you the same weapons you already have but better. It will give you a shotgun that may be a higher gear score than your lmg but it really only applies to enemies like the heavy drones, wolves, bosses, and raids. You can still use any weapon you want and if they aren't armored snipe their head and be done with it. People are flipping on the hear score (I was a little too) but the devs honestly have a pretty good idea since it doesnt really effect the world but just really the end game coop boss stuff. Also your weapons and gear start at MK1. You can level them up to I beleive MK4 or 5 and that increases their gear score and rarity. This game is honestly nothing like the divison. It drops loot.sure but the Divison it is not

It's nothing like Division 2 where loot is literally thrown at you and you're constantly having to empty out your bags... Not even close. There's nothing wrong with adding RPG elements to the game. The numbers on ememies and gear is just that... Numbers. You still do the same damage and headshots kill regardless of level... The only difference is that higher level enemies hit harder.
The beta is a total mess and the gear score loot is AWFUL. :(

@@alannn7108 tell me how does the gear score work? Dont say like the Divison cause other than dropping some gear from enemies it works nothing like the Division. So please tell me what is the purpose of gear score in breakpoint.......
