I got a chance to play it but I wasn't really thrilled with the game, I already have borderlands 3 for my looter shooter this year and don't need 2. Ill get this game on black Friday
So I pre-ordered the game at a local store and I asked them if they would have this figure with the collectors edition that I got and they said no. ..... So why is Ubisoft promoting this if I already did the pre-order?? I would really like this since I paid almost 130.00 for the collectors ed..
Once upon a time I used to see Collector's Editions like this at GameStop now you guys just stop sending collectors Editions to GameStop otherwise I would have pre-ordered it from there I mean what's going on?
Jaden _X1 You can blame GameStop. They got cheap on bulk orders they lose money on. Collectors editions don’t resell for enough profit. Besides, these statues don’t really gain value after you open the game and stores don’t buy them back.
@@ironfae I would have bought it!. I would have worked my butt off to pay off little by little of the payment for the collector's edition just like I'm doing right now with the dark edition of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare I mean come on what's the problem GameStop!
Big ol' dislike on this. One, this edition should be available elsewhere as well for those of us who don't have and can't get credit cards. Two, the figurine should be sold separately
Midytheimp Ubisoft spent a LOT on these figures. Open distribution would mean they’d lose money. That’s just the way business works. If you make a big investment, you have to protect your return. Besides, it’s the game you REALLY want.
ironfae Actually they'd make more money because more people would have access to it. Expanding to entice more customers is the whole point of business. I work retail so I know this and when customers can't get what they want, they buy it elsewhere(from a reseller or someone who makes figurines on like Etsy or something in this case) or make their own which means Ubisoft is losing money because they aren't buying it from them or at a store that distributes them. Resellers sell the figurines for more than they paid for it and that extra cash is not going to Ubisoft.
Midytheimp Yes, Ubisoft would make money. However, they’d have to give GameStop a cut, the advertisers, the shippers, etc. All that distribution would cut up the profits more and more. Plus, Ubisoft can’t guarantee quality with so many middle men involved. No, it’s not a perfect system for everyone, but it’s not like anyone is missing out on the real investment; the game. Does it really make a difference that some people paid 80 more dollars for a statue? Players will be too busy with the game to really care.
Midytheimp BTW- If you work in retail, how is it you can’t get a credit card? Do you have a paper route or something? Are you under 18? It’s a little suspicious.

That price only pays for the Ultimate Edition; no statue. The Collectors Edition is around $200. You should have ordered online.

ironfae I tried but they denied me, claiming I have no credit history. I did have a paper route once but now work at Walmart. I am 22.
