As much as I have my grievances with you guys, I still want you guys to actually learn from past mistakes and succeed. And if there's any main AAA game publisher I'd work for as a community developer or even a story/narrative writer, it be Ubisoft. But I'd just dreaming wouldn't I?
All of the games they make have a fair economy, and amazing original ideas, they just suffer from bad launches that's all. If they stopped the horrible launches and delayed some games they would be the the most legit, quality, and fun developer/publisher second to cdprojekt red.
@@dillon8992 Well said. I have lots of respect for UBI. They can be oddly safe with things like the UBI-towers but also continue to be very willing to iterate taking in fan feedback, as directly as having a rating system built into AC:Black Flag. Then having the resolve to take a year break to reevaluate the AC franchise with a massive shift that was Origins and further iteration with Odyssey that people adored. Now Watchdogs is trying to push a game mechanic that I honestly don't know how they will pull off and that sound like some respectable risk taking.
@@JerryFlowersIII I'm sorry with Origins they did right but with Odyssey they have gone too far. Far Cry New Dawn and Ghost Recon Breakpoint are examples of that. Even Legion will be a victim of Odyssey's success, because it will be another RPG infestation.

First 2 episodes were fascinating and a great start, hoping that in time the podcast explores more than just the audio of your games and maybe dive into more branches of game making.

It would be nice to see how Ubisoft Paris dropped the ball when “making” Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Bring back the real Ghost Recon!
It's really not hard to see. They overreach and put MTXs into a game series that didn't work well with it. They got greedy.

when was the last time they lied? last thing I remember was Division 1. and that was the concept-reveal-trailer on E3. Every other gameplay trailer afterwards showed the real game.
I hate bullshit-trailers like every other guy, but Ubi has a good track record when it comes to trailers in the last 3-4 years
