Apparently a cartoonish, semi-humorous open-world game based on ancient Greek mythology is something I didn't know I needed. Zelda "clone" or not, it became one of my favorite games of all time. I especially loved what they did with Zeus and Prometheus; their narration and interactions made the whole experience feel so magical. Zeus' character development is also some of the most delightful writing I've ever seen in a game.

Yes, anyone could be turned to stone but in many tales like in clash of the Titian's the modern version Medusa only turned men to stone because Athena , god of wisdom and war, only wanted her to be unattractive to men not women.

In the beginning, it worked because of the giant hammer gag, but after that they should have cut to different music. Either epic, lighthearted, or funny would work. I didnt. I loved mythology and the whole concept behind God of War is the character running around murdering all of them.
Wasnt thrilled about Kratos murdering the chill, cool ones like Dionysus or the slightly more mature than the rest ones like Hades & Artemis.

I'm glad that Ubisoft is finally giving it's devs free reign to make something original, especially if the Odyssey team is working on it because they seemed really passionate about working the mythology into the game.
That said, I'm reserving all judgment until the games in my hands because lord knows Ubi can still ruin this with microtransactions and dlc.
