@@latham8038 You can get decent black gear if you scavenge the world and buy the black paint (in game currency). However milsim stuff like Cyre G3 Combat Uniform and AOR1 camo is paywalled (you can't get it) and Multicam and A-Tacs is locked to raids that won't come out who knows when.
Yeah, I heard microtransactions areittle wild in this. But they AI teamates are going to be added later on (I think), it'd be a shame if they turned out like the squadmates in Wildlands

It's a game engine render, vs a pre-render which is what other trailers have been. This is what the game actually looks like, and since it has photo mode, capturing video is easier than ever

I mean, it has the same gear score and weapon leveling systems, and even has the same weapon switching system. The hate comes from not being what the fans wanted, a Wildlands authentic tactical shooter that is unique to other games and shooters with the survival elements shown in their trailers. So I agree the game may be fun for some but its not Ghost Recon as what was sold to the public from the beginning. Hi, I'm a player of this great game. I come to congratulate Ubisoft for his work and give my recommendations for future updates; the level of small details differentiate a great game from another and ghost recon breakpoint gives a lot to be certain that there are some details that give realism to the game and that are grateful to see but when seeing the map it would be nice to see more civilian activity showing his daily life as personalization of vehicles or performing different totidian activities the AI leaves much to be desired and his communication with the player could be improved a small notable detail is the change of the lunar phases or the lack of traffic signs on the roads also the lack of driving motorcycles or boats by the enemy. The lack of being able to jump or stab manually leaves fans with a bad taste ... we would appreciate seeing these changes in future updates, thanks and keep it up!

This game resembles Division more than Wildlands. Definitely a Looter Shooter now... A lot of the HUD aspects are frustrating as well. The micro transactions are about as bad or worse than they were in Wildlands. But the gameplay is more like Division. Gear now has ratings. Looting crates is now a more integral part of gameplay.
Eh. Fallout 76 is bethesdas very second online game. Especially one online. Ubisoft though has alot more online experience. Plus bethesda should be doing single player and not online.

star bust Weapon levels mean nothing other than the buffs that some offer. A lv1 gun CAN kill a wolf. Higher level weapons are not required to kill higher level enemies.A headshot is a headshot. Some enemies have helmets requiring two headshots.

How to fix this terrible industry for 2019: 1) Never buy anything from Activision, EA, Konami, Ubisoft, Bethesda, 2K game nor Warner Bros (if there is any other publisher you don’t like, add them to this list). Any game from them now will have ruined potential and will always be badly designed on purpose to sell microtransactions, lootboxes, and cheat codes. Create the stigma that anything with these publisher’s name on it is a lesser product because it’s true. If you absolutely NEED to have one of their games but still want to get it legally, wait about a year until the game is on sale with included DLC or (preferably) buy a used copy. 2) Never pre-order any game. Waiting until the game comes out to give them money will force them to make sure it’s a functioning, bug-free (as possible), complete game. 3) Wait until said publishers are downscaled/bankrupt from lack of sales. Even if they change their ways after suffering financial struggles, they’ll just go back to their current agenda once they’re back on top again. Let them burn in bankruptcy. They never cared about you. Don’t give them the satisfaction. 4) Wait until they’re forced to sell IPs and franchises to better publishers in order to cut costs from going under. Developers let go from this should also be given employment opportunities from said publishers. This is, unfortunately, the only drawback to this plan as there’s no telling what will happen to said franchises and developers. 5) Spread. This. Message. Feel free to copy/paste this comment anywhere it’s relevant! Anyone who says “this won’t work” is doing EXACTLY what these publishers want. The moment you give up and think uniting against exploitative and terrible business practices is fruitless is the moment you lose. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I like it to be honest. Having some RNG feels like a nice addition. In Wildlands you would just be like "OH IMMA GET THIS ONE WEAPON" and stop using it after 2 hours. Also weapons have additional properties now.

You know how when you enter the bivouc it changes the magazine pouches on your armor? Yeah it's switching them to another one that's not even equipped for some reason. So if you have the BLACKHAWK armor on, with the right magazine pouches on it, but then you go into bivouc and they disappear, just look at the other chest armors, one of them now has the one you just had on. Now seeing this maybe UBISOFT can fix it
No AI teammates means be online to play with strangers or be solo so pay for gear. Also u ll not be able to use ur favorite weapons as in wildlands. RIDICULOUS.
AI teammates are coming but I agree they should've been in from the start. But I mean you can always invite friends if you don't wanna play with strangers. And there's absolutely no reason to pay for gear or weapons. I've been playing solo this whole time, never once thought about having to pay for microtransactions to progress. Even though it's repetitive, I enjoyed Wildlands. I was looking forward to Breakpoint. But the loot system, no AI teammates, bugs, too many microtransactions etc. killed all my interest. I'm gonna wait for sale and hopefully with future patches some of the problems will be gone.
I mean why else did they have to implement a HUB? So you have to be connected online to actually beat the game. Even solo. That to me looks like an excuse to force us into using the store.

The hate comes from not being what the fans wanted, a Wildlands authentic tactical shooter that is unique to other games and shooters with the survival elements shown in their trailers. Yet they gave us a completely refaced game with a social RPG-Division-Destiny style mechanics STUFFED with micro-transactions and slapped Ghost Recon to the name. So I agree the game may be fun for some but its not Ghost Recon as what was sold to the public from the beginning. To be fair, Wildlands was great, Bolivia was amazing. Breakpoint Update 2.0 puts the game in the right direction.
To summarise this game:
It feels better to Wildlands with almost every single aspect but RPG and Behemoths completely destroy the whole immersion of being a tactical and authentic group of spec ops soldiers
Storyline was much better in Wildlands

Hi, I'm a player of this great game. I come to congratulate Ubisoft for his work and give my recommendations for future updates; the level of small details differentiate a great game from another and ghost recon breakpoint gives a lot to be certain that there are some details that give realism to the game and that are grateful to see but when seeing the map it would be nice to see more civilian activity showing his daily life as personalization of vehicles or performing different totidian activities the AI leaves much to be desired and his communication with the player could be improved a small notable detail is the change of the lunar phases or the lack of traffic signs on the roads also the lack of driving motorcycles or boats by the enemy. The lack of being able to jump or stab manually leaves fans with a bad taste ... we would appreciate seeing these changes in future updates, thanks and keep it up!

This game resembles Division more than Wildlands.

A lot of the HUD aspects are frustrating as well.
The micro transactions are about as bad or worse than they were in Wildlands.
But the gameplay is more like Division. Gear now has ratings. Looting crates is now a more integral part of gameplay.

Ghost recon 2 will always be underrated. That multiplayer mode was amazing.

Weapon levels mean nothing other than the buffs that some offer. A lv1 gun CAN kill a wolf. Higher level weapons are not required to kill higher level enemies.A headshot is a headshot. Some enemies have helmets requiring two headshots.

How to fix this terrible industry for 2019:
1) Never buy anything from Activision, EA, Konami, Ubisoft, Bethesda, 2K game nor Warner Bros (if there is any other publisher you don’t like, add them to this list). Any game from them now will have ruined potential and will always be badly designed on purpose to sell microtransactions, lootboxes, and cheat codes. Create the stigma that anything with these publisher’s name on it is a lesser product because it’s true. If you absolutely NEED to have one of their games but still want to get it legally, wait about a year until the game is on sale with included DLC or (preferably) buy a used copy.
2) Never pre-order any game. Waiting until the game comes out to give them money will force them to make sure it’s a functioning, bug-free (as possible), complete game.
3) Wait until said publishers are downscaled/bankrupt from lack of sales. Even if they change their ways after suffering financial struggles, they’ll just go back to their current agenda once they’re back on top again. Let them burn in bankruptcy. They never cared about you. Don’t give them the satisfaction.
4) Wait until they’re forced to sell IPs and franchises to better publishers in order to cut costs from going under. Developers let go from this should also be given employment opportunities from said publishers. This is, unfortunately, the only drawback to this plan as there’s no telling what will happen to said franchises and developers.
5) Spread. This. Message. Feel free to copy/paste this comment anywhere it’s relevant! Anyone who says “this won’t work” is doing EXACTLY what these publishers want. The moment you give up and think uniting against exploitative and terrible business practices is fruitless is the moment you lose. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. This has worked before and it will work again.

Just got it from Amazon. Downloading the patch. Hyped as all hell. Took 3 days off to binge this with my son.
So how about the guns stay in pve you have to earn guns in pvp, don't buy skills, have all the military iteams purchasable in game with SKELL credits and have the weirder non military iteams be purchased with real money, and only cosmetics but not all the damn cosmetics

I like it to be honest. Having some RNG feels like a nice addition. In Wildlands you would just be like "OH IMMA GET THIS ONE WEAPON" and stop using it after 2 hours. Also weapons have additional properties now.

The power system, loot system, and hub area ruined the realistic feel the last game had. And the running animation is still garbage, character movement is choppy and feels too clunky. I was so hyped after how amazing wildlands was from launch-now but this game killed it

You know how when you enter the bivouc it changes the magazine pouches on your armor? Yeah it's switching them to another one that's not even equipped for some reason. So if you have the BLACKHAWK armor on, with the right magazine pouches on it, but then you go into bivouc and they disappear, just look at the other chest armors, one of them now has the one you just had on. Now seeing this maybe UBISOFT can fix it

AI teammates are coming but I agree they should've been in from the start. But I mean you can always invite friends if you don't wanna play with strangers. And there's absolutely no reason to pay for gear or weapons. I've been playing solo this whole time, never once thought about having to pay for microtransactions to progress. The game needs some work but it's really not that bad. I feel as if people haven't played it and are blindly criticizing it. Give it a try 🤷🏾♂️

Even though it's repetitive, I enjoyed Wildlands. I was looking forward to Breakpoint. But the loot system, no AI teammates, bugs, too many microtransactions etc. killed all my interest. I'm gonna wait for sale and hopefully with future patches some of the problems will be gone.
