Dude pulls out every dirty trick in the book and still gets completely outclassed. Conor even tried getting punched in the face while laying trapped on his back to gas out Kabib as Dominick Cruse so expertly pointed out. I was baffled to see that technique didnโt work.

The hype for this was unreal. I remember exactly where I was. I had an important project due for class the next day, but skipped it anyway just to see this fight. It was worth it. I hope we get another fight like this in the near future.

UFC at its peak is when there were no rules. Mid 90s. Tournament style. A fighter might have to fight 3 times in one night. That's when men were men. Dan Severn, Don Frye, Ken Shamrock etc. Call me a boomer, but those dudes went through a whole lot of punishment and made half or even a quarter of that these guys make now with all the rules.
