Look at what she did to Tate and Nunes. That was just a tactical error that night. She had the skills to win that fight, for sure.

Not here bcz It wasn't a great submission like all these. Meisha was loosing the fight already getting beat up and all. Nunes threw the submission with ease and just to wrap up the fight quickly.

Despite her accomplishments in the octagon, she still took her ball and ran home when she wasn't queen of the throne anymore. That unsportsmanlike bullshit will always keep her out of the all time greats for me personally. You can't have your cake and eat it too when you act the way she did.

@@claude5945 Those are the same reasons why Peña would have more success against Valentina this time. She already proved that she can control Valentina so in the future it would just be cleaning up mistakes to seal the win. Shevchenko would need to beef up more imo to help her defend those td.
Remember that all these grapplers dont really need to do much on the ground to win a fight which sucks but until they adjust the rules to avoid this, its gonna keep happening.

The Holm's one is infamous for the coach (or trainer, not sure of his official role). He got exposed as a fake and a liar. He convinced Ronda to try to stand and box with Holly, instead of playing it her way. By the time she had tried to toss Holly, she had been scrambled and didn't have the energy or strength to pull it off. Then Holly kicked her square in the head

Despite all the hate Ronda gets, its hard not to disagree with this. Ronda's Judo is exquisite; she's super slick and dangerous on the ground. I'd actually love to see a grappling match (not MMA) between her and Nunes who is also an excellent grappler when she's fresh.

@RowdyKid Nunes was strong enough like Holly to shake Ronda off when they were in the clinch. I am still curious to see how a fresh Nunes can grapple with Ronda. I have no doubt Nunes would like to test herself in that regard.

Yeah she doesn't do well when things don't go her way. I think she had never been properly taught to lose and can't handle it. If you raise your kids to be combatants, you gotta humble them once in a while to temper their ego. Ronda's only got more and more inflated

I think she exhausted really. Meisha pushed her to the limit and made her go 5 rounds. Meisha is notoriously difficult to knockout and she can take a beating like no other. A pitbull in every sense

Tate also had two TKO losses in her fourth and fifth pro fights. She also has two KO losses, one each from Kaitlin Young and Sarah Oriza respectively.
