Probably a two piece case, one would snap to the front and one to the back. I'm sure if lg is gonna put any effort into marketing this, they'll be in touch with at least some case brands

I never even thought of that. Perhaps a split case design that fits snugly on the top and bottom and is flush in the center so it can swivel and separate with the phone. Might make waterproofing a little difficult but most modern premium phones are already water resistant.

This would be the perfect layout for me honestly, I love editing photos thoroughly on my phone, being able to see the full image up top and the editing controls down there is sick, same with video editing, sound creation etc. LG should realllyyyy offer this at an affordable price and aim at creators

honestly exactly what i was thinking. i used to be a die hard android user but then moved to an iphone a few years ago because the android phone market was pretty crap. but with this phone i kinda wanna get back on android. i just hope lg gets enough developers to optimize their apps for this phone. the applications are endless!

The first time i was totally weirded out by LG was when i was still a kid and they released that LG crystal phone with the see-through numberpad. Never gonna forget that phone
2 years later and I'm still rocking the Wing and people still ask me if its new because they've never seen anything like it. Only problem is that it's finally starting to slow down. The thing is, its hard to go back to a "normal" phone after using this beast for so long. I've never had the same phone for a year, yet alone 2 years.

Gaming is not comfortable on that phone. For example u wanna chat on the game you will always have to switch between the screens. Its too heavy and just not nice to hold. The wing is really useless actually. Also if u wanna watch a movie and do something else at the same time. U cant just keep hodling the phone in ur hand, u will want to put it down and watch the movie but its imposible to do so. U should watch a real review.

I'm switching from the IOS platform and so far not really liking the samsung. I am going to give it a week tho. See how everything goes

Love LG, striking a blow against the scourge of vertical video.
They just solved the problem for people recording video vertically.
Millions of $ of R&D vs. ....just twist your wrist by 90 degrees. Every single video recording app should have an enforced default setting that requires landscape holding. Only after the user is able to prove they are capable of the action, would the setting unlock to switch to vertical (after all, the mode does have its uses and place, when used thoughtfully). I will die on this hill.
They didn't though... It will shoot at a lower resolution if you hold the phone vertically and take a horizontal video. Only Motorola action phones have a lense that's turned 90 degrees so you hold the phone vertically and take horizontal video at full resolution.
I prefer slapping them...but I guess this could work too

We have fold phones, touch screen flip phones, & now this phone that I just heard about. And most offer different colors. We finally have a wide variety of options again.

The rotating 'wings' of the LG Wing has so many practical uses and I absolutely love how it has turned my streaming and gaming experience for the better. LG has constantly been upgrading its smartphones and coming up with innovative and incredible devices. This one is another brilliant example of the brand’s consistency and the multitasking aspect of this phone is simply great!

Most Android phones especially Samsung can and have been able to play KRplus in the background especially music KRplus videos on Samsung phones using multitasking

I just got the this phone, now after about a week of having it no it’s it perfect but it’s kind of exciting. Majority of phones are really good now a days but are all kind of the same now and for me this is more than just a phone. It’s something new exciting and proof that there are some many things that can come from a company willing to take risk. I would rather spend $1,000 dollars on something that fails than spends $1,00 dollars one something with “great specs” I love the direction LG is headed and gives me hope that hopefully some other company will follow suit. It takes great photos and most of the time I use as a normals phone but nothing is more satisfying than just flipping and unflipping. Props to LG and I am extremely excited to see what other ideas that they come up with in the future. Thank you LG

To all who are seeing this review for the first time. I saw this review 3 months ago and got this phone. 3 months later, i can confidently say this is the best phone i have ever owned. I've owned iphones, Notes, and even the LG Dual Screens. I like the dual screens but they become too big to hold. In my line of work i walk around a lot, and with this phone i can multitask holding the phone with one hand. Something i can't do with the Dual screen foldable phones. If you are in a office setting where you sit all day, the dual screens might be good for you. But if you are moving around allday but also need to multitask, look no further. The Wing is king.

What i really fond of about this LG phone is that the Gimbal functionality on the phone. Apart from that, swivel and double screen looked awesome than foldable phone even in 2021.

Highly recommend it for people that love multitasking and watch videos/streams on the go.
Never knew this existed until a few days ago. Bought one half price (orginal cost $1,000) and I like it. It's a toy for sure but a good one. Love the duel screen and pop up camera for selfies. Phone game changer for sure.

Going into this I was sceptical, but this actually looks pretty cool. If I hadn't bought a new phone this summer I'd definitely consider it.

The one handed use with full screen would be so useful. I know its specific but I'm a regular plasma donor and basically you can't use one arm for an hour. The ergonomics are amazing.

I know right! I've been preparing for the worst as this doesn't seem very practical at the first glance, but it's actually really clever.
Looks and sounds like a Scanner from Star Trek
Super fast battery drain, heavy, easy to break, and way overpriced. It's a novelty piece of junk for suckers and this would be awful for daily use.
It's literally designed for features you can barely use. Want to watch a movie or film? You get a couple hours before it dies. Want to text while watching something? Bottom screen isn't large enough to do anything but type. Only thing it's good for is typing with the screen sideways, which no one ever needs to do.
At least the folding screens give you more screen with less space. This gives you half that so you can spin it until it breaks.
TheDreadedJuggernaut novelty phone for sure but different from the folding screens and will probably have it’s niche market, vloggers will probably enjoy it. Me personally I don’t like the folding screen phones I don’t like the subtle crease in them but I could see myself using something like this. Will I get one, more than likely not but I do like the concept.
The ability to draw me in and feel confident that you will deliver. I feel you fell short. by not talking about the other features. I wanted to join. No I did not check your other videos. So I don't know if this a style, so I'll wait and check back before I subscribe. But Im disappointed that you spent about 10% on the box, the 80% on the camera and gaming. Your eye for detail.. Again is spot on. But I sent the link to my dad before reviewed I m completed the entire video first. Your presentation, energy, description everything is right on point. But you just missed the mark touching on the other features. The. I realize that I'm a dinosaur with tech. I remember when we had one the first cell phones the electronic box and attached "órr had a phone attach that box..🤣 We needed a bag just for that alone. I mean, the back in style and has been made to look Professional. I also remember when Verizon was one if the BELL Atlanta an NYNEX telephone companies. At&t was another BELL south phones then US Cellular. on and on. Why all this info just wanted folks to know that I'm no flake.

Blackberry torch 9800. I had it and the case even tough cheap never came off unless i took it off. And dropped it a lot without a scratch so it's not impossible for this LG phone to have a good case

Okay, now I'm even more thrilled to get this phone. I've had my eye on it, and as I'm laying in bed I went "unboxing therapy does everything involved with this, and he's in depth" and I'll tell you what, you have yet again, went above and beyond. Reminds me of the lg chocolate and lg slide, best slide phones ive owned back then was so badass. Been a LG fan since forever.. had the lg flip phones, slides, swivel, then Optimus, g3, g4, g5, then v30, v40, v50(current). Now probably this one next, love this phone. LG been awesome, so sad they're not making phones anymore 😔

It will be great for my geanology research. I can have the family tree on the larger screen to use for information and reference as I do research on the smaller screen. I'm excited to get mine later on today. My other phone broke. Thankfully I had insurance on it so the insurance said they would replace my phone with a brand new LG Wing for $50. I thought that was pretty cool.

Ujjwal Vishwakarma Just seems like it’s the most practical, it’s out-of-the-way when you don’t need it. But if you do need a little bit of extra screen the implementation is literally perfect, that GPS music set up is amazing
