Lawrence King you do realize if they pay dak 40 mil per year he’ll take up 20% of the teams cap. No team has ever won a sb when a player takes up more than 14% of the cap.

Dak ain't worth anywhere close to what he's asking for, plain and simple. The longer these teams play into the notion that because of timing (rather than ability) a player should be the highest paid, the more contracts will keep inflating.
He has the highest QBR and still managed to be 6-4 on a team with a RB averaging 4.3 and a defense that is 15th in points allowed. And a overrated ( Zone Run Blocking) O-line that is constantly getting beat but has great pass blocking numbers because Dak might be the greatest pocket escape artist in the history of the league by the numbers. Hes won more games since hes been drafted then anyone except Brady. And also set the record for highest Completion percentage ( 66%) and Yards per throw (7.8) in the history of the league in anyone's first 3 years. Hes about to go to 3 Probowls in hist first 4 seasons and about to win his 3rd division title in 4 years. He also threw for 300 yards and 3 tds in his first playoff game of his career. Also a few months ago he beat the current MVP lead candidate ( Wilson) head to head in the playoffs. 4th round draft pick who made 2 million total dollars for those 4 seasons. Humble, all his teammates follow him unquestioned , no criminal activities , no distractions and has gotten better and better. Shout out to Dak for thinking about his family and future generations over a bunch of morons who know damn well they wouldn't take a paycut if the company they worked for was #1 in profit sales margin in the industry they were in
