Jinho. I want to start with your musicality. I know it is plain to hear that you have one of the most grand voices that have ever sang. You are capable of hitting every and any note that you set your mind to, and of course, there are not many people who can do this. I’ve rarely met people with a range such as yours, while still having so much control of your voice when you hit every note; as well as not stretching it either. It is raspy at times, yet sweet and delicate at other times. You convey these concepts exceptionally well, due to your voice and its ability to sing every feeling of each one. It feels so real when you sing and your Universe can feel every emotion pouring through each line as if we have felt them ourselves. In addition to this, you are also an extremely talented and well-versed dancer. You are so playful when you dance and the fact that you always look like you’re having a blast is so contagious. You have so much energy that carries you through each performance and you execute each move with so much intricacy and detail. You bring every choreography to life with both the accuracy of your movements, and the character that you infuse into each one. Your moves are so fluid and the flow beautifully from one to the next. You have so much to offer musically and there is no other artist who can replicate your vision. It is you specifically who has helped me learn that while there may be barriers in other areas of life, there are none in music and it is really the language that all can speak. I thank you on behalf of everybody who has gotten to experience your artistry for the feelings and teachings you’ve given to us with your voice and performance. As much as I love your musicality, I love your personality as well. One of the first qualities that I noticed in you was how happy and cheerful you always seem to be. I quickly learned that you appear to live each day very graciously and show much appreciation for all of the wonderful opportunities that you get. You truly have a gift of spreading happiness and you can do so regardless of the situation or people around you. I know that anybody who meets you is lucky for this reason because you make everybody feel so comfortable and you accept others for how they are. I know your members can attest to this the most. It is plain to see just how comfortable you are with your members, as well as they are with you in return. You’ve always been so protective and so reliant on this bond between you to carry Pentagon through all that you’ve been through. Without you, they might have never been able to feel the sheer joy in life’s most unexpected moments. You have left such a mark on each of their hearts in such amount of time, and all that has followed have been some of your members greatest moments. I noticed that when they are with you, you help them to forget all of the pressures they might feel. When they are with you, they can forget that they are in the spotlight; that they are idols, and they can just exist within themselves with you. You are so familiar with each of them individually and know just what to do to help them remember what it is they are fighting for. You help your members believe in the family that they have in one another, and that love can triumph over all that Pentagon faces. Only you are able to supply your members with his feeling that helps them to recognize the beauty in their profession and their lives. While you’ve been away serving time, they have spent every minute working in your name and as if you never even left. You have completely changed their lives and they are who they are because of you. They’ve believed in themselves because you’ve always just loved them and been there for them exactly how they’ve needed you to be. They can do all that they sent their mind to because you believe in them. Thank you for the unconditional love and care that you’ve showered the other members with for years and for grooming them to become the best versions of themselves. I want to personally thank your parents and family for raising you and helping you to become the accomplished and aspiring young man that you are today. Hongseok. I want to first talk about your musicality, more specifically your voice. You have one of the sweetest voices I’ve ever heard. There is a softness and a subtlety to your voice that gives it so much character and definition. You are an incredibly passionate singer as well. I can see it in your eyes and on your face that you are giving life to every word that you are singing. You can only go so far with training your voice and focusing on technique, but you really lose yourself to your voice when you sing. You are a stylistic genius, and have the ability to bring so much vibrancy to each of your lines. When you sing, you look so vulnerable, and the delicacy of your voice allows for you to communicate how you feel with your audience. It is clear you have a natural voice that was meant to touch hearts everywhere. As well as being an awe-inspiring singer, you are a talented and free dancer. You master each Pentagon choreography flawlessly. Your movements are loose, yet concrete, and it allows so much of your own personal expression to be infused with your movement. You effortlessly connect your mind to your body, and whatever concept you present is reflected in the way that you move. You make each performance unforgettable by just giving way to the music and letting your body carry you through the song. Your spontaneous and sudden bursts of love shine through when you gift your Universe with the surprises that you leave for us through your dances. You engulf the stage with your power and capture the mood of any genre with your versatility as a dancer. Overall, what you bring cannot be brought by another artist, and you have changed music so much. Shinwon. I couldn’t help but watch you when I first started watching Pentagon videos because I thought that you represented every mood perfectly. You are able represent each of your concepts very vividly and thoroughly. Then, I started to take in the diversity of your voice. You can alter your voice to make countless sounds, from different levels of aggression all the way to a level of delicacy. You don’t even have to say much but there is so much expression in your voice when you speak or even say just one word and it changes the entire dynamic of the song. There is a power that you hold musically, and when you sing, you always leave your fans anticipating more. Next, I was drawn into to your captivating dancing abilities. I’ve always had an affinity for your mesmerizing dance abilities, but it wasn’t until I really got to know Pentagon that I realized how stunning and talented you really were.Even when you are just practicing and you might not think anybody is watching, you have some of the most fun but some of the best control I’ve ever seen somebody have. You always balance execution and enjoyment perfectly both on and off stage while making it look so easy. Individually, you stand out as a well-rounded and blended performer, but you also help your group to look in synch and flawless as well. It’s always evident that you worked so hard but you look like your were meant to dance and sing on stage and there is a different side of you that comes out only when you are doing so. I’ve become aware that you can also play piano which for me, personally, is an instrument that I’ve wanted to play for as long as I can remember. When you play, it seems as if you go into a different world in your mind but you bring only the Universe with you to it. You convey every emotion when you play and though I haven’t seen it often, it is always so beautiful and moving for me to witness. Just when I thought I couldn’t be more surprised about your character, I was excited to learn that there was so much more to you that I had yet to discover. One of the first traits I learned that you have is humor. You have a special type of humor and always say what seem to be the most funny lines possible in every situation. It seems that you get happiness making other people laugh and it is one of the most considerate bouts of pleasure that you can provide for another person. You always make your members more comfortable and show them a good time. They always look to you for a good laugh and when the moment calls for it they know that you can bring everybody, including the Universe, together for some of the best times of their lives. When I need some cheering up, which is lately especially because of the pandemic, I can always lean on you and it is all that I can ask for. I know that there are several Universe everywhere that also feel the same, and we cannot thank you enough for completely changing our entire day around just by being yourself. Perhaps one of my favorite parts of you, however, is your intelligence. I believe that the way that you carry yourself is potentially one of the most attractive qualities about you. You are always so mature in every situation, which is in direct contrast to your ability to be so funny. When the time comes for you to serious and professional, you always do so honestly and easily. Even when it may seem like a moment where you could lose yourself, you always hold it together and realize that the best that you can do is just be genuine about how you’re feeling. I’ve noticed you also take this approach with your Universe and members. One of the most desirable traits in somebody is for them to just be transparent and have loyalty to those they love. No matter what has happened to you, even if you might not have wanted to talk about it, you always come to us first and tell us about what’s happening. You are very blunt, which is very admirable in several situations. I know you try not to make us worry about you, and though it’s hard not to because we just want you to be happy, you always try your best and talk to us with completely sincerity about more than we even have to know. Because of this, we have this closeness and trust in you that we have for nobody else. You are very practical and reasonable and that has created one of the most deep and lasting families I’ve ever known to exist. We know that we have you to both laugh, but also to be direct and open with, just as you are to us, and it is one of the greatest feelings in the world knowing that we have that. Some people in their lives never experience that, and even though we may not know you personally, it is just enough knowing that you are there. Similarly, I know that you are a place of calmness and comfort for your members. It’s taken me no time to see that your members gravitate towards you, even if they just need a shoulder to cry on. I remember that only after a year of being a Universe, I became familiar with how selfless you are; which is astonishing. I’ve seen several instances, even just recently, where they’ve gone to you for consonance and you always know how to be there for somebody else. You are even there for people across the world who you’ve never met. You just know how to treat another person and you are one of the greatest friends and family members a person can have. I love that they can talk to you and when they might feel like they have no one else they have you. You have shaped them and made them who they are today and they would not have grown and become as happy as they are without you. It’s beautiful what another human being can be or do for another person, and you have changed so many lives even though you’re just one person. Only somebody so generous and heartfelt can have the effect and power that you’ve had on so many people. I want to personally thank your family and parents for raising you and instilling the proper values of kindness, respect, and honestly. You spread so much of that around, and I know that they had a huge impact on that. I know that they love you and watch you with the most proud of anyone, and they are so thankful for you. So many people in even less severe situations than you might have forfeit the goals, but you never did. You are a representation of your dreams coming true and it being possible to achieve anything. I am so lucky and honored to have become an official Universe just in time to see all of your years of hard work finally pay off and for you to get that first win that you always believed you’d get. Yeo One. I will start by addressing your musicality. Your voice is a wonder and phenomenon unlike any I’ve ever heard. I know you are very creative and specific about your lyrics, and I wanted to comment on how poetic you are when it comes to creating them. Your voice is enchanting and elegant as hearing the music in a fairy tale. It is so wistful and it easy to get lost in the grace of it. It has such a magical and warming effect on every Pentagon song that I hear and gives them all so much life. You are so passionate about signing and a piece of your heart is incorporated into each line that you sing. All the while, your dancing is classy and charming. It is so evident how much effort you put into mastering your choreographies but when you’re on stage, it just looks like second nature to you. You place so much emphasis on each of your movements to make sure that your Universe can take in each one. You are very articulate and expressive as well. Your facial expressions completely guide your dancing as well and you are incredibly skilled with infusing your emotion into your body movements. It is sincerely a gift getting to watch you waltz across the stage with undeniable precision and self-expression all wove together into one. In all, you are one of the most creative artists that I’ve known, You really have such a way with words and that has had such a grand impact on music today. There is nobody who could replicate your sound or the different perspective that you have on music. I can’t thank you enough for pursuing the musical side of yourself and opening that up for the world to indulge in and learn from. At the same time that I love your musical side, I love your personality as well. I love that at the same time that you are easygoing and professional, you also set the mood in any situation as well! You are very poised and grounded, and this was a trait of yours that was admirable to me very early on. You are collected and have a very level-head, which I believe leads you to become decisive. However, you are also very fun-loving and know how to have a great time! You are very goofy and your sense of humor is so unique to you .
