I have never opened a single pack in my life but recently I came across your channel and see how exited you get over cards. It has actually inspired me to buy a booster box and it just happened to be this box.
I have no idea what hollow cards or foil cards are or what v cards are or anything but I love the idea of learning about the collectors side of things

@@rorymackinnon5350 depends. You get different generations and different sets. I just scored 2 booster boxes for the price of 1 on a random sale on Amazon. But I think it depends on if you are a collector or a competitive player.
I went with the art style and I look at what cards are available in each set then I will research that particular set and it is different for each of them.
@@rorymackinnon5350 I think I paid £140 for the battle styles but I just for two booster box of darkness ablaze for £70 so it all depends

@@rorymackinnon5350 @Rory MacKinnon a full booster box in the UK at the moment is around £94, which is pretty good value when you consider RRP per pack is around £3.00 -£3.99. If you mean the alternate art cards as a single. I'd say around £75-£100 is around the going rate on auction sites

Update: with the money from the card selling we were able to buy three shining fates tins. I can’t even make this up. Tin 2 we pulled her dream card, shiny Charizard VMAX!

@@nicktrotin wow hahahaha your luck was a lot better than mine on the tins, I got 2 of them and only got a Shiny Rillaboom Vmax. Today the pikachu V box arrived and I got 3 really great packs out of it (Skyla FA, Eternatus V, Gym Trainer FA and Morpeko Vmax + a couple of baby shinies. My ETB should arrive early next week so hopefully more good luck can come. Congrats on the Zard, thats crazy
