      +MS. ILBB seriously some black people are so simple and never learn from the past. soon as they are established they will join the anti black parade. have they forgotten about travon already?
      nice thought though.

      MS. ILBB
      right. problem is getting other black people to understand that. most are either too stupid, uncle toms, crabs or simple street/ghetto punks. however, there are others like you and i. you see our race currently has very few good, talented, well meaning people in it. we are surrounded by fools. i am drawing up a diagram to discribe the current problem. it is people like us that need to stick together.

    • @MrCollegeSmart
      @MrCollegeSmart 8 년 전 +5

      MS. ILBB
      you know somehow we need our own country. not sure how to get it. we need a country for only smart nationalist black people. we can build our own china.
      speaking of which chinese and indian immigrants get treated better than us. everyone is joining the haterd and violence against our race. simple blacks be like "yaaah mexicans"...smh.
      i've subbed to your channel will update you.

    • @nuux1560
      @nuux1560 8 년 전 +13

      Too many things have changed. Usher matured, R&B is no longer relevant and grown competitors like Chris Brown and Jason Derulo have changed things. Here I Stand was like Confessions, except the music was more mature and actually had more quality. He did Pop and was successful. The R&B he makes now is like "Dive" and it just does not sell, unless its generic like "I Don't Mind".

    PLEASE READ THIS: I am going to explain black lives matter the best i can. If there are 8 houses, and 1 is on fire, what's gonna happen? The fire department is going to come and put water on that house. why? because that house needs the most help and because that house matters. Now when the fire department helps that one house on fire, they're not saying that all the other houses don't matter. but they are focusing on the house that needs the most help and matters. That's what Black Lives Matter is, we're not saying that all lives DONT matter but we're just focusing on which lives needs the most attention, which lives needs the most help and which lives MATTER the most right now. just like the fire department. ;)

    i write this with tears in my eyes from a perspective of a 15 year old black female. This is sickening and has really moved me. I am very proud that you (artists) have chosen to make a commendable and factual song using your influence to get the message out to the people. This is very outrageous and yes this song is 100% accurate and it is just sad. Thank you sooo much for not just turning a blind eye to what is happening in our community but speaking up on it. This is what we need to be hearing. Positive and true music because the senseless violence needs to stop. I don't know how else to show my respect for this act. I first saw the song performed live on TV and was interested so i looked it up. Thumbs up!!! You have earned so much of my respect and honor and i am a huge fan. Thank you for being the example and hopefully others will follow in your footsteps. This is important and our well being is in a state of emergency. This needs to be heard all around the world! Much love a brown girl. #chains #blacklivesmatter2 #deep #mythoughts

    It makes me sad that something as superficial as the skincolor of a HUMAN-being still stands as an issue for people in different parts of the world. We have sent robots to other worlds, discovered the history of our globe and other amazing things, but looking eye to eye with your fellow man, regardless of appearance, is still not a norm.
    I don't even live in the states and i am a white male ( I shouldn't even mention that) but i always have and always will fight for equality, respect and love between ALL people. I can't stand oppression and injustice. Let your voice be heard, there is hope.

    I'm going to start driving soon and I'm actually really scared to start being out on my own with all the murders of black men happening regularly now, it's sad because i should be looking forward to driving but how can I?

      I know I'm late, but I'm sorry. As a white person, I have no idea how it must feel to be scared to start driving because you're afraid of what might happen. I'm sorry you have to suffer at the hands of ignorant, racist fools.

      A simple heartfelt statement, sums up so much. :'( What a way to make your civilians feel America... Sort out your system, police are servants for the people, all the people.

    Really powerful video and song, but don't take all of these reports too close to heart without researching first. I haven't done the research, but I hate when others jump to conclusions without seeing the situation from all sides. Whether it's the hoi polloi, or the cops themselves in these situations.

    But if black people really want to make a difference in American we need to start by stopping all this black on black violence.

    I'm a longtime fan of Usher's, but I'm not here to Critique Usher right now. I gotta Appreciate & Respect the Realness of these lyrics in this song right now. It's Real Talk & that's 💯. I Commend you Usher for using your Talents to touch on such a serious topic & bring Awareness to the issues that hits home for so many of our youth of today. Thanks.
