Lyrics:
Yo!
What's sup?
Hey!
My name is Usher,
You can trust there ain't
No punks in this house,
And if U really wanna know what my name is
Just Call Me A Mack
Word,
Right!
Just call me the mack
Anytime baby,
Cause I ain't confused
I maybe kind of young
But I got a
Whole lot of man in me
So I'm afraid
That I can't be played (Huh, ha!)
I don't mind
If U wanna come by my crib
And chill,
But just be sure
That U call me first
Because the last girl that tried
To just be droppin' on by (Oh, no)
Learned how to play a player
And do U know why,
Because the mack - 음악
This Little Kid is going to perform in the superbowl!!
Ts my first time to see Usher this young..my first video to see him a child ..its in 2024 and am 31..
I feel you I'm 30 I didn't even know he was doing music in the 90s bruh
Girl same I’m 30
Ok good so I’m not the only one. Because I never knew he made a song this young!
Same here and I’m 30 lol
I believe the video was private many years ago, which explains the low viewership I believe the 3 million were recently computed
I didn't know Usher was releasing music as far back as 1993!!
Me either !! He the goat fr ! ❤😅
LA Reid discovered Usher at 14 years old! LA Reid’s brother Bryant discovered Usher at a high school talent show!
Anyone diddy had taken advantage of starts making music or deals and stuff after. Remember usher was small.. and then the artist who signed early never promote the music after prob cause it reminds them of you know what…
@@paintingjayy3364This is interesting because I've always noticed when Usher does concerts and live shows he never does this or "Can U Get Wit It" or anything from before the "My Way" era. In another world inside my head, Usher is taking song requests to sing and I raise my hand and request "Can U Get Wit It", and hope he'll jump into it or either explain why he chooses not to perform it. Could it be a legal reason? Maybe Usher owns his masters to his music but not from that particular era? It's not like that song and "Call Me A Mack" are forgettable songs, and "Can U Get Wit It" is still kinda in his vocal range and a Tiny Desk-like version of that would sound oh so SPLENDID!! I love those songs from the early Usher era and it would just be delightful to hear him perform them again. But yeah..I've always noticed that.
30 years today 😮
He was born October 1978, this video was shot around July 1993- he was only 14! TALENT
Happy Birthday to the one of the R&B greats in Usher!
Ooh he should do something with this song next year. It’ll be the 30th anniversary!
I was born on December 2, 1978
He performed this song on Soul Train in November of 93, little did I know he would become a mega superstar, did not remember he performed this on Soul Train until early 2000s, then I remembered.

Wow, puberty hit usher hard.
+adam Scott true, but usher never really had a great voice either
+Federer “Trey” 01 .....Justin Bieber can't sing. Usher can sing.
Anthony Sanders I like Usher more than JB, but there's lots of R&B singers better than Usher
In term of vocals, Tevin Campbell shits on both of them in singing. Especially live then.
Kerry White True, too bad he fell off
Notice he has to be in the passenger's seat because he is too young to drive in this video 😂😂
Mista J.T. Lmao 😂😂😂😂didn’t notice that until you pointed that out

He was 14 or 15 actually by 1993 born in 78 but still!
Been saying thus like forever now after Kelly Usher is King
Usher was 14 when he dropped this and made this song with 2pac and Janet Jackson in the video. He also performed with Michael Jackson and now has the best selling R&B album of all time. King Of R&B.
Janet and 2Pac weren’t actually in the video this song was on the Poetic Justice Soundtrack. Those were clips from the movie.

Even at only 14 years old Usher was a standing out as a good singer, dancer etc. He sounds better here at 14 years old than many grown men current artists out now. All these years later Usher has countless timeless music, albums, performances, multiple Las Vegas residencies etc. The '90s was such a special era for music and pop culture. #UsherRaymond #KingofR&B #Livinglegend
Wow Usher before his voice changed XD

This is my first time seeing Usher this young in a music video. I've seen a lot of his videos, but I don't know how I missed this one!
This was The Box Music Network before MTV2 came into the picture.
Super bowl performance was epic!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Still giving this man his roses every single day for still being relevant after all of these years. He made all of the right decisions to get him where he is today. People say that child actors have it hard but I feel child singers have it harder. If you know Usher's struggles growing up in the industry, shit really got hard and he was dropped the moment he hit puberty and his voice changed up. At that stage you never know how things will pan out. For some people your voice just changes completely and some people have just ended up quitting altogether and found a new outlet for income and success. But this man kept pushing, he kept chasing it, he kept taking vocal lessons and best of all. .his mom helped him all throughout all of this and booked as many shows and she could so that the world could see his talent even after he was dropped by his first record label. That's love, hard work and dedication. I'll always be a student! Thanks Usher! We see you and we've always seen you. That Superbowl show gonna be lit!
And it was lit ❤
This video made Usher iconic. No other kid was doing nothing like this during that time!

I'm 39 years old which means I was 15 & Usher was 14. To all that never saw this video or heard this song until now... We first saw and heard ALL artists when their videos played on THE BOX (music television you control; channel 8 here in Milwaukee). If you're unsure what The Box was or is... It is like an older version of Vh1/ BET. So in order to watch ANY video at that time on The Box there was a 1-900 number that adults had to call in and then they'd punch in the video's 3 digit request number which was held in line (or in que); sometimes you'd be waiting for hours until your selected video played. The Box was LIT so all the requests were played in the order received (if that makes sense). And no I never called but I used to be happy as hell up singing & dancing lol when all the good shit came on. I don't remember or know any of the 3-digit video call numbers. All I can tell you is that I LOVE the shit out of Joe so he was definitely a favorite, Usher, Silk, Hi Five, etc. I hate that they took the box down cause that network was mannn.... So you can imagine how much money they made off OVER 2,000 different songs just from that network alone. Google and read more about it. But yeah KRplus, Vh1, Bet... They grabbed all of these older videos from The Box but guarantee The Box had it goin on. I miss it.
