I was 19 turning 20 when this song came out. It's hard to believe that I am 39 turning 40 for the 20th anniversary of this song. Damn, I feel so old reading these comments from kids who got confused at the intro to this song. Go listen to his album young people. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you listen to Confessions remix, Red Light, and Seduction as bonus tracks. I remember buying both the original and the one with bonus tracks.
Nah, don't feel old. We grew up in a special time and that feeling is a gift. 2004 was the ish, I remember I didn't want that year to end so was '03, 02', 01 & 00. So many bangers and the music videos with the old school video vixens and romantic storylines. I'm from the UK so imagine my anger when I realised seduction (or red light) wasn't on my album- that's literally my favourite Usher song to date, Confessions being his best album imo.
