Decent writing - that's what I'd like to see. It's turned into the Corporate Disney machine that keeps churning out sh*te with the Star Wars or Marvel label on it.
@@tokiyakillsinsight160 it's a good idea. All the recent films just aren't tying in with each other, there isn't build up. The writing isn't as good, it's relying on previous marvel films. Having Galactus as the main villain for this new series of Marvel films is a good idea.

It seems more likely that Secret Wars 3 (2015) is what is going to be adapted, given all the the talk of convergences and stuff, but it would not surprise me at all if elements from Secret Wars and Secret Wars II were also adapted into the overall story of Secret Wars 3.
Yeah I think that it will be more like the more recent secret wars with some elements of the original, like Peter getting the symbiote (although maybe not after the post credit scene of NWH).
This could also mean the MCU debut of Miles Morales and starting the journey to the Spiderverse.

It's still unbelievable that Secret Wars is actually getting an adaptation. And I agree, it will be the biggest and the best superhero crossover event of all time.
Best is debatable, but I have my expectations high.

@@racool911 Well, if they can follow the source material perfectly, then it will be the best of the best. But, if they change too many of the stuff, then who knows how it will turn out to be.
@shiberu Endgame wasn't announced in 2008 though. It was announced in 2014 as Infinity War part 2. If we take Endgame as the final result of the MCU's 10 years' progress, then technically, Secret Wars will have 17 years to be built up. Although, that's still a pretty small amount of time compared to how Secret Wars Volume 3 had a 30 years long build up in comics. But I have high expectations since, Secret Wars Volume 3 is "The Best" in case of comic book storylines.

infinity war and endgame were filmed at same time and it caused multiple behind the scenes problems. So 2 avengers films in 1 year will cause way too many problems.

Secret Wars will most likely be pushed to 2026, I doubt they'll have two Avengers movies in one year. It's a good thing because they will have more time and the movie will be better because of that delay.

That'll still he better than wasting 3 hrs in endgame. There will be much more heroes and villains, you can't just make a 2 hr movie for that.
They need to get a move on an introduce Doctor Doom, Fantastic 4, and X men first.
The Celestial Arishem's return to Earth for judgement could be what leads to Secret Wars instead of The Beyonder
Its a pity the normies will even understand it or follow it .... without MARKETABLE , LIKEABLE characterisations from actors , none of that matters, where as RDJ, Hemsworth , Evans, and Chris Pratt were able to gain interest from casual viewers, because they were likeable, charismatic and didn't insert politics into everything. Eternals was a freaking flop as well. A lot of good actors shoved into something they couldn't communicate to the audience by a bad indy director that shouldn't have bee given a tent pole film. Eternals needed Denis Villeneuve. Someone who understands epic world building.
The 1980s version of Secret Wars is what got me into comics when I was a teen.
I heard that the was a comic where someone threw a mountain at the Avengers and Hulk had to stay pissed to keep it from crushing them and I said "Now that's what's up!"
That 80s version included original cap and iron man and a raw, unleashed Wolverine. In this current Marvel it is extremely doubtful it will have the same impact of that 80s comic. Just the wrong era, man.

I hope Avengers Secret Wars will be a hybrid of Jim Shooter’s 1984 Secret Wars and Jonathan Hickman’s 2014 Secret Wars. Considering we are going to see coverages and mutilverses, the three main villains will be Kang, Doctor Doom and The Beyonder. We’ve seen Cosmic gods so far. At the end of Avengers Secret Wars, we can see Galactus in the end.
I believe the beyonder is going to get replaced with Arishem from the Eternals

I'm jeff from The MCU'S Bleeding Edge KRplus channel/ Podcast, and I geuss people don't bother giving other creators credit anymore when they are helped by vids like this, but I just wanted you to know I have always made sure to vocally give credit to all of you and your channel, any time I have learned something from you that helped me in preparing my shows, topics, segment's, etc .... I'm a old school Marvel comics collector but it's nice sometimes to just be able to watch something like this and get a quick refresher on the story of SW.

@@parsman9914 seems like it's a problem a lot of people have. Their movies of late haven't exactly been ragers. Spider-man is partSony. But otherwise, nothing they've done post endgame have been particularly huge, financially.

I think it’ll definitely be cooler than endgame. Highly doubt it’ll be “bigger” sadly.
If the twist at the end of avengers 5 is what I think it will be, plus secret wars probably bringing back fan favourites (iron man, cap, the fox wolverine, basically the doctor strange cameos on steroids) I think that it could be on the same level as endgame. But I agree I don't think that it will be bigger just purely due to how much cultural weight endgame had as the ending of the infinity saga, which was partly what made it such a huge film.

idk man i feel like people are too willing to write off marvel just because things aren’t as interesting as they were in phase 3. Remember, they had to build up to that. Things in the MCU right now might seem to have lower stakes now that Thanos is gone but it won’t stay that way for long.

Dr Doom is such a traitor and overrated character. One time he sides with the good team, then he play public enemy no 1. I want to see The Beyonder bury this a-hole when they clash.

Regardless of which version of Secret Wars they do (personally I think they will go with 2015 version and end it with a soft reboot of the MCU to allow killed off characters to come back and be recast) the most important character they need to develop between now and then is Owen Reece

10:20 if you think about it, this could be use to explain why we didnt saw the f4 before. What i mean is that maybe in the previous multiverse when kang's variants fought, the beyonder choosed the F4 to reshape the new multiverse at the end of loki s1. If the timeline is cyclic maybe this could work. I also like the idea of them being trapped into the quantum relm with kang.
Phase 5 is going to be an interesting time for marvel fans especially since phase 4 wasn’t received all that well

Phase 5 will likely be shit and low budget just like the current. Disney is literally in their dark ages right now with ass box office bombs, until they stop being woke for good and stop prioritizing cheap money saving content, then they could get back on their feet which will lead to masterpieces.
With a Secret Wars inspired by the most recent one they could also bring new actors to play other versions of characters already established, like Thor, Iron Man... therefore continue using these characters by renewing actors that are getting old, and maybe telling new stories that happened differently
Problem is the renewed actors are KNOWN, popular and are able to deliver. new actors are cheaper, and will just say rubber stamped lines and forced politicalisation which is obvious if you've been paying attention. "other versions" have sucked. ..they even made Christian Bale look bad in Thor Love and Blunder.
@@SuperOmnicronsj44 well, yeah, but still, at some point you can't keep the same actor to play the same character again and again for decades. First Iron Man came out in 2008, that was 14 years ago, first Thor came out on 2011... I mean, depending on the age they were when they started they could keep going, but at some point they do have to retire (and Hemsworth decided to retire from acting due to a deficient gene that could get him a specific disease so he wants to spend time with family).
If they will bring back cap and iron man it shouldn't be a new actor only RDJ and Chris evans can play that role perfectly

Secret Wars is 100% getting delayed. Doctor Doom cant go from normal to frickin god emperor in the span of 1 year. So either hes gonna be there A LOT or the movie gets delayed to sometime in 2026
They definitely not giving the vfx teams enough time to make these projects be as good as they could be. Marvel has just become a factory trying to put as many things out as possible regardless of quality

@@hoodlum1 2025 is only 3 years from now. It took a decade to get to Infinity War & Endgame but they’re putting out Secret Wars in half that time and almost half the time already passed with majority of the projects being underwhelming.

The first Secret Wars was a watershed event not only because it had so many beings in it but it was cannon that influenced and inspired hundreds of story lines following for years. You could even say it created a new age for the Marvel Multiverse.

That will never happen right now. They need to fire their entire crew and directors, as well as marketers, and get new ones
It may be bigger in scope than the Infinity Saga, but they've got a lot of work to do to create proper build-up toward the event.
Yeah there were some bad movies in the Infinity Saga but at least they were consistent with building the story instead of individual ones with no correlation to eachother

It’s gonna be interesting how they get to Kang to Doom. They’re already slowly introducing Kang now (from Loki, and Antman 3 is supposed too also).

Ive been saying since the passing of Chadwick Boseman that it is going to be revealed that Dr Doom was the one who killed T'Challa. Doom wanted to invade Wakanda to upgrade his armor with vibranium but T'Challa stops him but succumbs to his wounds from the fight. It may not be revealed in BP2, hopefully we get him in the post-credit scene a la Thanos in the first Avengers movie but eventually it'll come out that it was Doom.

I said it in your Kang Dynasty predictions and I’ll say it again. A story like this in Avengers Secret Wars could be immensely significant for the end of the Multiverse Saga. It could also become a greater film than even Avengers Endgame.
How when there are zero likeable or marketable characters .. Brie Larson??? Spiderman tom holland sure, but who else? It wont remotely be on the level of Avengers Endgame because the actors popularity in their roles defined the character arcs leading into Endgame. No Black Panther? (Chadwick) No Tony Stark (RDJ), No Cap No Black Widow? None of the current iteration has matched their popularity! And the current writers are freaking AWFUL! did you see She-Hulk!?

This is going to be sooo interesting to see. I wonder if they are going with this story line or the 2015 story line though. Also it will be interesting to see this kind of crossover with out tony nat and cap. I would have LOVED to see tony and reed interact. Seeing that there’s already a symbiote on Earth after NWH, I feel like we’re going to get the Black Suit Spidey arc before Secret Wars even happens.
Yeah but the Venom Symbiote is in Mexico and Spider-Man is in New York. I doubt the Symbiote can make it to New York by itself and we don't even know if the Symbiote still has any intention to go see Spider-Man. It'll most likely be thrown/dragged into Battleworld and that's when we get Symbiote-suit Spider-Man.

When I think of how the Civil War in the MCU was compared to the Civil War in the comics, I'm curious how Secret Wars will turn out.
I see people theorizing that Kang will take the beyonder role and Scarlet witch take the molecule man role. And that in Kang dynasty. It’ll be about the new avengers coming together to take down Kang and his variants but other variants from other earths will come to earth 616 to battle them. Then Doom would either betray Kang or gain the powers and create battle world which leads to secret wars. I can see the Avengers “win” but it’s too late in Avengers Kang Dynasty and the screen cuts to black as the multiverse has collapsed. Then in Avengers secret wars it starts with doom
Since the Venom symbiote was left behind in NWH, it will definitely appear in Secret Wars. And since Tobey and Andrew are rumored to appear in the film, I'm sure that Tobey will try to convince Tom Holland to take off the symbiote before it consumes him, similar to how he tried to convince Topher Grace's Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3. Tobey will tell everyone how sound waves are the symbiote's weakness. And when we see the symbiote looking like Venom, Andrew can say "If that thing exists in my universe, I am definitely not putting it on." Plus, this is also a way so he can fight an alien since he said he wanted to in NWH. Anyway, it would indeed be cool to see Galactus appear. They need to do him right since he wasn't accurately done in "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer". I mean, they did say they were going to do another film in which they would reveal Galactus in his comic book accurate look, but then they got canceled. I'm not sure if they should do Doctor Doom for this film. They need to set him up perfectly. Literally if they just have him for the Fantastic Four film and then Secret Wars might not feel enough. They set Thanos up perfectly for multiple films. They really need to adapt Doctor Doom correctly. I know that the Doctor Doom in the original films was still different from how he was in the comics, but you have to admit that he was way better than the 2015 movie version. So they need to make sure they don't screw Doctor Doom and Galactus up again and make sure they adapt them correctly to please fans, especially if they do decide to use them for multiple films. And while we know that the MCU is making their own version of the X-Men, Kevin Feige confirmed that we'll be seeing Fox's X-Men in Secret Wars in which it will be the final film we'll be seeing those characters. He helped make the first X-Men movie and he's going to help end their story with Secret Wars so they can make way for the MCU version. Especially since Deadpool 3 is going to bring them to the MCU.

I think Kang will take on Doom’s role in the MCU’s Secret Wars. Doom would then be the big bad for the next Phase.
I was thinking that kang wins in avengers 5 but right at the end of the film just as he's creating a new sacred timeline, doom defeats him and then becomes the big villain of secret wars. Considering that they're starting to set him up as a big behind the scenes character in wakanda forever and I wouldn't be surprised if he has been linked to other events in phase 4 and the thunderbolts, it kind of makes sense and I think they'll use the end of this phase and the whole of the next phase to set him up as someone who can out plan and out smart kang. Also you need a big twist between the two films and that would be a huge twist, not just having the villain win but the villain being defeated by another villain and everyone waking up in a crazy new universe where that villain rules supreme.

We will see him in Fantastic Four or new Doctor Strange movie for Secret Wars
if they are really careful with it, pick the perfect actors, and comic book/ realistic customs for both beyonder and dr. doom it would be perfect for avengers: secret wars.
It's the mcu, that's what they do, when haven't they picked perfect actors and made great costumes that are a good balance between the comics and realistic outfits that look good in live action.

Avengers and Iron Man were sucessful movies because of Josh Weedon and say what you will about his moral conduct the guy was a comic book writer before he became a film maker Weedon truly understood comic book characters

For those who don’t know who is the Beyonder. He’s the youngest race of the Beyonders, only ones more powerful than the Celestials. With the power, he took parts of Earth and other planets in the universe to create Battleworld.
