Both awesome but I want a more creative option in filming, so the Go 3 is my choice. Just being that small and also magnetic has opened up such a huge world of creativity, I don't think anyone has even scratched the surface of it yet.

For me:
- they are neck to neck, even for pixel peeping
- microphones: equally
- stabilization: equally
- sometimes one has a better dynamic range, nicer colors, seconds later the other
- con Insta: in rapidly changing conditions of light (like riding a scooter on a sunny day through the shadows of trees) it takes a bit longer to adjust the exposure
- con GoPro: the anti-glare treatment of the lens seems a bit less effective than on the Insta, visible in shots against the sunlight

So has GoPro resolved the issue yet with the Hero 11 overheating and shutting down? If not, then I'd say the best camera becomes not only just the one you have with you...but the one you have with you that WORKS consistently. Thanks again for the information.
horizon lock was on insta 360 go 2 as well, I am using it at the moment.

Yes, and I would also like to see how well it stabilizes when shooting in low light. Electronic stabilization can struggle unless it has strong video signal to work with.
Can you record video while charging the battery. ?
How about transfer file, can use usb to laptop?

Excellent comparison. Unfortunately, you forgot to mention the internal memory space which is rather limited in GO3. I'd preferer a memory card option.
I thought the exact same thing, but opted for a 64gb version. Remember the go 3 only films in 1440 max, so it actually holds quite a bit, and dumping it to your phone is fast. So far storage has not been an issue, the battery life outside the action pod however, is another story π

of course... but also it will be bigger. the entire point of the go 3 for me is the size... if size didn't matter than the essentially same price hero 11 makes more sense.
@@canyonblue737-8 true this form factor is key selling point of go 3 ...in the coming iterations will gain more in terms of features...so this will be more bang for buck.......

Go pro hero 11 is better image quality .the video very good. But i will go for insta360 go 3 because of its size. Mounting anywhere supporting magnet. Standalone camera with out the action pod i can record upto 45 minutes with super small action camera.
