I stopped the internship after being with people the first time an animal was put down due to its illness. Seeing the pain of the owners and how they cried made me realise I can't do this job, as much as I love helping animals.

The eye color change is the reflective layer behind the retina. As light passes thru the jell it turns to a weird green gold hue and because its so close to the lens, the light comes out at a steep angle in a flood pattern to the camera instead of straight back out and parallel like a laser as normal light from distant objects. Nothing weird, just quantum physics at the very end of the day.
I’m not a vet, but with the experience I do have with having six cats: Kitty is not dead, is under the kitty equivalent to anesthesia When kitty is under anesthesia, which again it is, it cannot blink. Not blinking for so long would lead to blindness from eyes drying out This cream does not hurt kitty, but hydrates it’s eyes so it won’t go blind Please note how human uses the cat’s eyelids to mimic blinking and isn’t just leaving it or using their fingers Edit: dad, they like me! Everyone saying it's just to help the cat's eyes not dry out is a bit confusing. The tube is clearly labeled Terramycin, which is an antibiotic usually prescribed to treat various eye infections. It's possible it could have the use y'all are saying too, it just confused me a bit cause nobody mentioned anything about it being an antibiotic.
It's not to make him see again it's to keep his eyes moist during surgery when they cannot blink for themselves due to the narcotics it technically paralyzes them but no really it's hard to explain really
This need to do during the opretion or giving ketamine before neutering so cats not able to blink their eyes when they are unconscious so this protects eyes from drying
Don't worry it keeps the cat safe and her/his eyes are healthy so take good care of your car or they might have the uh non blinking thing but good luck (tips: doesn't hurt cat/tips-2: the cream goes away kinda fast so kitty can see)
I thank Terramycin for helping my guinea pig's eye. He got hay poke, and the vets were booked for two weeks at the earliest. Terramycin was thankfully OTC though, and his eye had healed by the time I got him into the vet. (I would have pushed to get him in if he has started losing weight or showing emergency symptoms though.)

Everyone saying it's just to help the cat's eyes not dry out is a bit confusing. The tube is clearly labeled Terramycin, which is an antibiotic usually prescribed to treat various eye infections.
It's possible it could have the use y'all are saying too, it just confused me a bit cause nobody mentioned anything about it being an antibiotic.

Don't worry it keeps the cat safe and her/his eyes are healthy so take good care of your car or they might have the uh non blinking thing but good luck (tips: doesn't hurt cat/tips-2: the cream goes away kinda fast so kitty can see)

I thank Terramycin for helping my guinea pig's eye. He got hay poke, and the vets were booked for two weeks at the earliest. Terramycin was thankfully OTC though, and his eye had healed by the time I got him into the vet. (I would have pushed to get him in if he has started losing weight or showing emergency symptoms though.)
