Well I can't watch vice news tonight over at their own site anymore (they used to let you view at least their recent news). So here I am.

Why so many dislikes? Can Vice not so much as MENTION transgendered issues without being massively ratioed?
Every. single. time. You also get tons of "Biden stole the election" comments on anything election-related so I suspect VICE has a large audience of far-right viewers who watch for the war videos where brown people get blown up and hate anything related to trans rights or the BLM movement (those get ratio'd pretty hard too, although nothing is as bad as trans rights). Haters gonna hate.

I think VICE should focus their attention on these REAL issues facing massive swathes of the world population instead of self-inflicted issues affecting less than 1%.

"Told them my story and they didnt give a damn". I think is super important to say that the US and the world does empathize with your situation of harassment and abuse. But its not the responsibility or even the "problem" of a foreign government to solve these things that are happening in your country.
I love Vice, I do, grew up on you guys, but I dont understand why Vice always positions the US in this light where the US can and should be infinitely letting people in, helping them with resources taken from their own citizens etc. there is a nuance that goes above Vice's head - countries that WANTS to help them, but are already limited and constrained.
I am Honduran. Trans people get killed here. They are not able to have a regular job because of discrimination. Their situation here is unbearable. I totally understand why they want to leave.
It's actually the problem of the world, because having failed states hinder trade and stability. Actual refugees are mere victims of circumstances, and the US is big enough to house them. Your government ratified the 1967 Protocol for Refugees. It has an obligation to uphold its provisions.
if those countries in Latin America face that unsustainable situation you can blame USA and its endless interventions for it , people escaping those places to go to US is just cause and effect, Imperialism is the problem not refugees.....
