This is a great video. With so many teams in London and in multiple areas of the UK, I have been dying for someone to do a video on why people in London/ UK root for the teams they do. For example, if you are in Manchester, how do you become a United or City fan? Is it based off of geography, personal taste etc? If you are in London how do fans choose between QPR, Brentford, Fulham, Chelsea etc?

Don't understand why the size of the fan base and size of the city/ town isn't one of the factors. Personally this would be the main thing I'd focus on
Cardiff say they are the biggest in Wales but they won the fa cup in the 1920s and bottled two seasons in the premier whereas Swansea had Severn. Beat all the top six teams at least once, two top ten finishes, a cup win and a run to the knockout stages in the Europa league. They need to learn to stay in their lane

Sunderland are the biggest in the north east. Historically their bigger, although in years too come it will probably be Newcastle
If Pompey didnβt go though administration 2 times and still in the prem we would be the biggest team in the south coast
It was very close between the South Coast teams I'll be honest, it's just their recent history of being in top flight to you was very different

George Pfc 1 Pompey is rubbish mate (my saint side coming out there)... (even though I do actually respect you guys)- as a saints fan. Southampton has always been the dominate team on the coast and our derbies are always great- and very very very underrated. Personally I think itβs better than the Merseyside, Glasgow, London and Manchester derby as itβs based on our history and plus the Matt Le Tisser moments are amazing against you guys. As I said- I do respect you guys as I do have some Pompey connects but Iβm a saint as blood and I hope that one day Iβll come to a derby and not get killed. I liked this video and can understand why you picked newcastle over sunderland. However you based it on recent history and European. Its been about 20 years since Newcastle played champions league and they never beat sunderland for over 10 year. Sunderland also league Cup final 2013 and Newcastle never won a trophy since 1969.
