I feel a huge empathy for animals. Every time an animal gets hurt or dies I feel really really bad inside and i feel so sorry for them. Almost like I feel the pain that they’re going through. I’m so glad that the woman treated the kangaroo so well and comforted it. I would have done the same!

But if you’re coming out with water for them, and they’re in a drought or in pain, and you make the pain go away? Thats operant condescending or positive reinforcement, both work. A lot needs to be said. She shouldn’t be pouring water onto the burns. It damages the tissue further and increases risk of infection. The kangaroo is worse off after she “helped” it. The only thing pure in this video is the fact that she saw some animals burning on Facebook or evening news and decided to take it upon herself to go pour fucking water on some kangaroos instead of letting professionals help the animals.
She has made the kangaroos injuries worse.

Edjo Ebeya honestly so many things can start it. Sometimes people throw cigarettes out the window and with how dry everything is, it just spreads like anything. Theres a lot of bored people (adults included) in country towns who always think its fun to start fires. And with these heat waves it turns something as small as a candle burning into a wall of flames in minutes. Also, i can’t speak for the rest of aus but here in regional WA we only have volunteer workers for fire and ambulance. That also wouldnt help in trying to contain fires as fast as possible.

I read they started a fire and didn't put it out, and given the climate (especially with it changing and getting hotter) the fires spread quickly. Some fires were from that, while others were from severe weather (storms). Shows what negligence to the environment brings in a matter of weeks.🤷♂️

She owns those kangaroos , she had a kangaroo sanctuary and it burnt down and most of the kangaroos escaped that’s why the kangaroos didn’t hesitate to go Upto her
