He didnt lie. Orange is not reversed in a mirror. Nothing is reversed in a mirror. It sends back what you put up to the mirror but you must reverse writing when showing it to a mirror.

I became an expert at Vsaucery. In this short, I took a screenshot of the mirrored paper and concluded it was indeed a trick, and he flipped the paper and held it upside down.
Here's a challenge. A blackscale photo in the background that would outline Michael. Like 5-6 different black that would when checked closely reveal that there is in fact something there.

There's a bit of a semantic issue here being used to create the "shock" value that mirrors don't flip anything, I'm afraid. Mirrors absolutely flip what you see, front to back. The projected image is inverted depth-wise, which means the left and right sides of the projected object are now inverted relative to the original object axis. In other words, the result is *equivalent* to a horizontal +/- x-axis (left/right) inversion *relative to the original object* even though physically the inversion is of the +/- z-axis (front/back) values. So no, you're brain is not "wrongly flipping" the reflection, it is able to "correctly" compare the projection with the original object and realize that no matter which way you hypothetically rotate the reflected object, one axis will be inverted relative to the original.

There's a bit of a semantic issue here being used to create the "shock" value that mirrors don't flip anything, I'm afraid. Mirrors absolutely flip what you see, front to back. The projected image is inverted depth-wise, which means the left and right sides of the projected object are now inverted relative to the original object axis. In other words, the result is *equivalent* to a horizontal +/- x-axis (left/right) inversion *relative to the original object* even though physically the inversion is of the +/- z-axis (front/back) values.
So no, you're brain is not "wrongly flipping" the reflection, it is able to "correctly" compare the projection with the original object and realize that no matter which way you hypothetically rotate the reflected object, one axis will be inverted relative to the original.
