Its not so much of the hadware. The hardware inside the phone can do this refresh rate through an update, but its the fact that the screen has to support it. Its like a computer, it can display 4k, but if you have no monitor that does not have 4k wont work. So yes its has to do with hardware, but only for the screen. Since the Note 10 is capable of doing 120hz. The software is there, but you need the display to enable it.

Does not work. Neither feels faster or different. Compared next to an S20 Ultra there's a distinct difference in smoothness throughout everything in the OS. This is obviously an oversight in the OS update to 2.1 which keeps the refresh rate page from the S20 series.

The note stutters and frame drops alot because it comes at a fixed display and you can't increase the resolution pixels. If you get into a gunfight against someone with smoother gameplag and they have the same skill level they gonna have higher odds of killing you just bc of the fps difference .
Get rid of the stupid music and it might have been a better video IT DIES NOT WORK. It's a physical impossibility for it to work as the phone only has 60 htz refresh rate.

I think it's just a leftover from the update. I was able to do this on my S10e as well.
