Song woo kong (Sung Go Kong) (Goku) is a chinese God (a mongkey god). He was born after meteorite who land on earth (yeah, even before superman exist). He born in the form of mongkey. He was so intellegent but also naughty (child alike). Basically he was so strong, so clever, besides his strength he is genius when it comes to magic, always like to learn something new. But on the bad end, he was so naughty, he likes to steal from other gods and wrecking their place. He makes the entire kingdom of gods angry so they fight againts him. But they couldn't win againts a single mongkey until Budhaa actually came himself to dicipline Song Woo Kong. Of course budhaa win with only his hand.
But you get the gist of how strong this character is. This character is really famous in asia (i'm not south asian, but i know this story really well since there are manga, film, series about him) dragon ball is the story take after Song woo kong. This character is really famous, i love this character too since i was a kid.

just in case for anyone who isn't familiar with the title name, son o gong/son wukong (the title in korean) actually a hero from lore called "journey to the west", the anime dragon ball also was based on this lore but instead of son o gong they change the name as son goku in the anime
Actually 'Son Goku' isn't a changed name, it's Japanese pronounciation of Chinese characters for Son Wukong ๐
Also I believe this song is really for the Dragon Ball Son Goku, not the Chinese hero for a number of reasons ๐

Those traditional clothes in this MV are not Korean traditional clothes but inspired by Chinese traditional clothes! Another name of this song is ์์ค๊ณต which is ๅญๆ็ฉบ(Sun Wukong) in Chinese. This song was just inspired by Sun Wukong which is one of the most famous Chinese mythological character but not Dragon Ball! And even Dragon Ball also originated from Sun Wukong!
What I learned from watching several Behind the Scenes of KPop MVs from big companies is that they prefer practical effects than CGI. They only use very minimal CGI & only if the scenes calls for something whimsical. They like building over-the-top sets.

The back is actually all real! its an abandoned building they used and all the lights were also controlled there appearently, which is an insanely impressive feat!
Not sure if anyone in the comments has already explained it but Son Ogong is the korean name of the monkey king from the legend of journey to the west, as well as the Korean name for Son Goku from Dragonball
the part where they hold their fingers up to their forehead I am pretty sure is a reference to Son Goku's gesture when he does teleportation, and the flower move I think is a reference to his Kamehameha :)
