This is a surprisingly coincidence. The movie will be released May 28, 2021. May 28th is also the late Cameron Boyce's birthday, he played Cruella's son in Descendants movies. RIP Cameron, I still can't believe he's gone ๐ญ

Why do I get the feeling that's EXACTLY where this movie's going? They did it with Maleficent, they did it with Lady Tremaine, and I've no doubt they'll do that with Ursula in the live action Little Mermaid, so, why shouldn't we expect that with this movie?
You should be well aware that this is a prequel to the first 101 Dalmatians movie, of course sheโll still be evil in the end, it wouldnโt make sense if she turned good because there still her future story with the Dalmatians and wanting to skin puppies for a fur coat, her story is just beginning in the slightest sense of evil sheโll keep after the movie is over. When you watch the beginning of the live action of 101 dalmatians she is the head of her fashion company and thatโs where it might end in Cruella which will be her accomplish motive in her back story in the new prequel movie is where it will end there.

And considering that it's Disney, they might change the character a bit to make it more PG, which makes it a bit underwhelming imo. Can't really say I'm excited but it looks promising ๐

However, her being inherently cruel and killing other animals would probably be addressed.
