It has been more than ten years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

Either people love or dislike this film. As a film student & Disney lover. It’s a huge reference egg of a film done nicely in a Princess bow. Many underlined writing within the sets, choreography, costuming, plot devices & even some Disney history is honored! But than again I’m a film & writing student so I’d catch these things.

Disenchanted was such a mediocre and middling movie but the cast was soooo good. It was great seeing Amy Adams again and I loved Gabriella Baldachinno as Morgan.

I'll be honest... I didn't like this sequel. And not only did I not like it, but I even felt that it was the typical Disney Channel musical movie of the mid-2010s. And to be honest, it doesn't add anything new or relevant to the story. Not even the musical numbers are good, except for "Badder".
Look, Hocus Pocus 2 isn't any better than the original movie, but if it's a decent movie, it does entertain you and incorporates more plot elements. Disenchanted directly feels like another cods.
