Disenchanted, an Original movie, is streaming November 18 on Disney+.
It has been 15 years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

I love it when Giselle breaks out into song. I really cannot wait any longer to see this sequel.
Well, the second movie has more songs than the first movie did so….pretty much everyone will have a song to sing. Even the legendary Tony award winner Idina Menzel

I think that this is going to be one of the best sequels ever produced by Disney. Everything looks on point, the effects, the score, the acting, the nostalgy. the humor, the references to other fairy tales, everything. I cannot wait.
And it feels like a genuinely unique plot and an expansion on the previous world
The latest Disney sequels were not good : Frozen, Maleficent . Hopefully they won't mess this one up.

When Morgan was young, she really loved fairytale stories about princesses and their happy ending. She really fell in love when Giselle singing and dancing just like a princess. Now she has grown up, I would say she really look like her father. It takes after him.😂

It's kinda ironic. When Morgan was a little, she really loved and adored when Giselle singing just like a princess. Now that she has grown up, she is getting annoyed and embarassed when Giselle suddenly sings. She has that same reaction of his dad Robert when Giselle sang "That's How You Know" in the first movie. I really love that reference, I am so excited for this movie.
Not to mention how beautiful and magical Amy Adams's voice. She is still got it! Her voice is still exactly the same from the first movie.
Her voice isn't as light and airy as it was in Enchanted.

Amy Adams still got it! After all these years (I would say decade), I am so happy that she reprises her role again as Giselle. No one could ever play her role, the way she did. Acting, singing, dancing, she is indeed an amazing and talented actress.

Minus the singing it’s a pretty realistic situation with one person being overly optimistic and the other not seeing it the same way.

True, but they can't have a dual streaming and theatres release because let's be honest, most would choose streaming as it's cheaper.
And making us wait a whole extra month for it to come to streaming would just torture us even more 😅
Morgan may have been a bit embarrassed about Giselle randomly singing now that she’s a teenager, but the fact that she smiles as Giselle sings shows that deep down she still loves that side of Giselle that comes from Andalasia… as the film shows.

Good to know Giselle still has some Andalasian magic in her! Was afraid she lost it when she didn't duet with Edward. But maybe that's because she wasn't in love with Edward.

Just realized they were mimicking Robert's cynicism in the first movie through his daughter, Morgan. The exchange in the beginning between her and Giselle, reminds me of the dialogue in How Do You Know.
I'm so glad they fixed her hair. What they did to it for the ball scene was unforgivable.
This is cute and I love Giselle. Excited and hope this lives up to the original.
i remember seeing Enchanted in the theater when i was 5 and it was one of those movies my sister and i would always watch over and over as kids

Ahhhhh AMY ADAMS is singing her heart out i am squealing from the inside. MORE excited for this to come on Disney plus it’s going to be so much fun. Also is it just me or is Morgan acting like Robert now not believing in fairytales anymore WHAT cause we seen in the trailers she just wants to have a normal life. So will see what happens but yeah it’s giving me that vibe a bit. I get it she is older now and doesn’t believe in fairytales anymore she was just a kid in the first movie you know believing in fairytales and kinda let her Father believed in love as well to some degree. But yeah i am sooo excited.

So where has Giselle escaped from? Schmigadoon? It’s not a bad thing, but I’m just curious. She looks like she came straight out of Schmigadoon.
Giselle started as a traditionally animated character in the musical fairy tale world of Andalasia, then she made her way into real life. She's meant to be the personification of the Disney princess stereotype.

But Morgan grows up with Giselle, she knows how she is, a literally animated princess, this seems to be normal to her not weird or annoying
