It has been more than ten years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

I enjoyed it. I went in for this part of the story. Not caring about anything else, or focusing on the first film. I think people forget to just enjoy it as a film. Original is of course best. Sequel is an absolute treat.
Coming from Frozen, it's awesome to hear Idina got songs this time around, especially Love Power. She is simply iconic. The whole movie came out really well! Yes, I know there's mixed reviews, but I don't care. It's an awesome movie.

I still can’t believe Idina Mendez is also the same actress who played Elsa in frozen. It’s really amazing seeing her come back to this sequel after all this time.

Gabriella Baldachinno was fantastic as Morgan. She was great.
Agreed but I do really miss the child actress from the first movie.
@@BrennySpain Well, she was busy at the time, she doesn’t really act anymore, and she grew out of the teen angst stage to authentically portray Morgan as a teenager but the original actress does make a brief cameo in the film.
@@BrennySpain She has a cameo in this film as the girl who reminds Giselle that the festival is that night. ("For the festival?... M'lady?")

Can you believe that I saw the movie yesterday and I can still hear "Looooove, poooower" in my head? Her voice pierces and stays with you like anyone else
The music in this film was just as clever as the first one was, maybe even more so. I especially loved how they had more of the Disney Chorus involved, something that has been lacking in recent films. Menken said that his intention was to pay tribute to the Jud Conlon Chorus who provided their vocals to _Alice in Wonderland_ and _Peter Pan._
Honestly it was Morgan's song that hit it for me, Gabby sang her heart out! All of the songs in the movie are amazing, truly!

This movie reminded me of my Dad, even though he passed away in February, his memory is still inside me❤️
My Dad died in March, so I know how you feel. My dad's favorite Disney films were Aladdin, Toy Story, A Goofy Movie, Up, the Fox and the Hound, the Lion King.
I loved it! Is it better than the original? No, but it's a great sequel and such a joy to watch!
I'm so happy that Idina Menzel got to sing in this sequel. I absolutely loved the songs she sung in the "Frozen" franchise, and I loved the songs that she sung in this movie.
I adored this film, particularly the musical showstopper moments it had. It was just such a delight to return to these characters and follow them along their new journey.
Alan Menken did incredible amazing composers of our Childhood Disney movies like “The Little Mermaid”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, “Pocahontas”, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “Hercules”, “Enchanted” and Recently “Tangled”
And Stephen Schwartz is so uniquely incredible songwriter from “Pocahontas”, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “Enchanted” and Dreamworks film “The Prince of Egypt”.
Also this movie will Idina Menzel who plays Nancy gonna sing called “Love Power” is an Epic Beautiful Magical Song like first Disney, Idina did plays Elsa on “Frozen” and “Frozen 2” was “Let it Go”, “Show Yourself” and “Into the Unknown” is was very very Powerful and Idina was very very Powerful singer
Alan Menken is our modern day Beethoven. If the Disney Renaissance haven't been culture impact in the 90's, we had nothing to look up to with animation and Broadway musical numbers.

I loved how the soundtrack really makes you feel that you are in a fairy tale.
Every actor got to express themselves in this move, I have many fav songs, Love power is beautifully and Bader has a very strong voices. I loved the first movie, and this one is just. TOP TOP! Who knew Idina was in this movie!
My favorite songs in the movie were Love Power of course, and badder. Also, Can I just point out that Morgan has a great voice? I never heard her sing, so it was surprising!

Waited 15 years to finally hear Idina sing in the Enchanted universe. Love it. Also, "Badder" is lit and very catchy. Loved the song's choreography as they're limited by those big puffy dresses. They pulled it off well.

If iger wants to restore some goodwill to the disney brand maybe "let go" of the one executive that made the decision to cut the owlhouses third season short seriously might be a good idea to do that if possible

Disenchanted was meh/mediocre compared to the first film but the seeing the cast return was magnificent.

La verdad se vio muy pobre la producción, la villa o pueblo se ve muy falso.
Es una película :) el realismo no es importante, los productores quieren dar la apariencia de una villa de disney, no de la realidad. Estoy de acuerdo que parece falso pero desde mi punto de vista, no es un problema, solo un estilo diferente, y para mí, un estilo muy bonito

I absolutely loved the first one,was so disappointed with this one,waaay too many songs and really didn't enjoy it,lost interest after about 30mins

Well, no. All the songs were just BLAND, not even a single song was catchy or have lyrics that I would like to sing-along to.

@@cinephile3985 idk some of the lines like "we always choose to use it if we dare", "let it grow, let it glow" or "as a ray of sunshine melts a cave of ice" did stick out to me personally
I disagree. There are a few good ones. "Badder" can be a bit clunky but overall it's fairly catchy. "Love Power" is living rent-free in my head. It's kind of "schmaltzy" but I don't care. I've listened to it dozens of times over the last few days. Idina Menzel is probably crucial to its appeal though.
Agreed. No song had personality. Shocking coming from Alan and Stephen. The bridge of "Love Power" felt like a very confusing melody and bad imitation of "Into the Unknown"
