Set at Christmas time, “Godmothered” is a comedy about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell) who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Finding a mislaid letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston. Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “Happily Ever After,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.

I thought it was cute and fun.
Like I've said already, it's very sad that people can't enjoy the little things in life. It's a film about a fairy godmother during Christmastime. I have no idea why people are being so hard on this film. It's meant to be enjoyed by children and adults that can still see through the eyes of a child.

Huh, I was expecting this ad to have more views, likes, and comments, considering I was posted a week ago form Disney, and the title doesn’t look like another poorly made princess movie, and the thumbnail totally doesn’t look like another “Netflix original” on Disney plus.

Okay so. I literally just finshed watch it and, it was pretty good.
It's not the kind of movie I'll say is good but, it's enjoyable for when you just want to watch something.
The CGI was also a LOT better then most of disneys other films. I appreciated the costume designs, and all the work they put into it.
Now, something I would've changed what I thought would've been really good is if, there was no falling in love with a prince.
Now just listen, I know like so many people are going to disagree with me but, what if she fall in love with the fairy godmother. WAIT WAIT JUST LISTEN. I know it wouldn't have worked with the actress's but, I think it would've been a really cute idea.
It wouldn've also been great for kids to see.
Now I can already imagine some angry person commeting "No! Kids are going to think it's okay! Then they'll wanna be gay!"
And I just wanna say, if your kid's gay, they were born that way. Nothing, absolutely nothing will just "turn" them gay. If you wanna argue about it, go ahead, I have time.
Anyway, back to the movie. I think it would've been pretty good idea. Disney has said they wanted to add more lgbtqai movies, and...they still haven't really done it. That's just my idea.
Back to the review. I think it's a really cute movie for kids. I think they'll enjoy it.
So in the end, the movie if I'm rating on on a kids movie, I would say it was a good 9/10.
If I'm speaking in general, I would say it's like a...4/10. Keep in mind I watch some dark adult movies so, in general it was a good 4/10.

Spoiler: it’s not that great. The acting is pretty poor and doesn’t deliver the jokes well. And I feel like they catered too much to kids when they should be catering more towards everyone, especially in this movie. And don’t get me started on the narrating grandma. 😑
I was so disappointed in this film! Major plot holes, unfunny jokes and overall bad acting! I was excited about the film but this is one of the worst Disney movies I have seen and I am a big Disney fan. I think they could have done so much better!!
