Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again” features the voices of Joshua Bassett, Jamie Demetriou, Alice Isaaz, Gillian Jacobs, Joseph Kamal, Thomas Lennon, Zachary Levi, Akmal Saleh, Kieran Sequoia, Jack Whitehall, Bowen Yang, and Steve Zahn. The film is directed by Matt Danner, the writers are Ray DeLaurentis & Will Schifrin, the producer is Shawn Levy, and the executive producers are Emily Morris, Chris Columbus, Mark Radcliffe, and Michael Barnathan, with music by John Paesano. The Original Movie is about the mischief that takes place every night at the American Museum of Natural History when the sun goes down. Nick Daley’s summer gig as night watchman at the museum is a challenging job for a high school student, but he is following in his father’s footsteps and is determined not to let him down. Luckily, he is familiar with the museum’s ancient tablet that brings everything to life when the sun goes down and is happy to see his old friends, including Jedediah, Octavius, and Sacagawea, when he arrives. But when the maniacal ruler Kahmunrah escapes with plans to unlock the Egyptian underworld and free its Army of the Dead, it is up to Nick to stop the demented overlord and save the museum once and for all. - 영화/애니메이션

I don't think chucking him into the underworld would count as being dead. Besides isn't he already dead?
I meant he was defeated by Larry.
His statue or whatever the representation of him is called, was thrown into a portal leading to the Underworld, so how he has returned is kinda confusing.

The flash animation is so smooth
We still don’t know how the tablet got back from London. Because at the end of the third movie, it was on a museum tour to New York, and at the end of museum tours, they go back to where it started.
Either there will be an explication or this is another continuity that only loosely follows the events of the films.
I don't think this movie is canon to the original movies. From what we've seen so far, it has several contradictions.
1. How did Kahmunrah escape from the underworld?
2. Why is the tablet back at the Museum of Natural History when it was moved to the British Museum?
3. IIRC, Nick wasn't interested in taking his dad's place as night guard.
But hopefully the movie will be good despite its contradictions!

the animation almost look like the generic cheap motion-tween animation yet they put way more effort to it which makes this really good!
Atomic Cartoons in Canada did the animation for this, they previously did Legend of the Three Caballeros and 101 Dalmatian Street for Disney

Kahmunrah, I just realized, looks like he'd fit right in with the older Disney villains; such as Jafar, Ursula, etc
Wait if that’s the evil pharaoh from museum 2….where’s the other one i don’t remember how 3 ended as I only put thag one on as background noise when I was tidying up the house one day
It's an alternate continuity from the live action films where as far as I am able to figure from the trailer only first film is 100% canon while only bits and pieces of 2 and 3 are canon (since I'm pretty sure Kahmunrah wasn't put into the basement of the museum and unlike the 3 movie the Larry still works there), we will likely find out more once the movie comes out.

Kahmunrah: What have you done with me?
Nick: You... I don't know what you're talking about. What do you mean you?
Kahmunrah: Where you push me of the box. I disappears.

I can understand them not bringing back Ricky Gervais or Rami Malek but to not even bring back Hank Azaria makes no sense to me.
