How to get started in Warframe 2023! Beginners guide Ep 1

IMPORTANT: DE removed the two options at the start of the game but dont stress it doesnt really make a difference because as you complete vors prize you will have access to the duviri questline. So there isnt really a difference!

My genuine advice, no need to rush things, take it slow or else you’ll get bored quite quickly

It is worth noting that the Duviri path at the start will land you at the Tenno path after about 3-5 hours of gameplay. I recommend picking Duviri because that gives you access to the Circuit very early on, which allows you to get new warframes, mods, arcanes, and other loot pretty easily once per week. It’s also one of the fastest and most consistent ways to get new warframes for new players.

There absolutely is FOMO in this game in terms of time limited events or special events. Baro only shows up 4 days every month, ghoul and thermia events only show up a couple times a month, etc. It always comes back, but for some specific things you may have to wait 2 YEARS to obtain it when it shows up in baro's inventory. But 98% of the game has no fear of missing out.
That's the only correction to this video.

As a "two month in" new player, this is a pretty good intro. I subscribed and plan to follow the series, I'm sure I'll learn stuff!

another important thing about this game compared to others is you are never missing any content, some times you just have to wait bc some things are rotational (or a special event) so you have to wait a bit for them come back (some stuff weeks, some stuff months and a very few stuff yearly-ish) and be available for you to get it unlike other games where you basically lose everything you grinded after a major update. here you get to keep everything forever (warframe, weapons, cosmetics, achivements, ranks, etc), they might lose power over time and even become useless but thats just how the game is, it's always evolving and changing

tip for starters as well:
GET Volt, because opening vault you need to be part of a doji ( i dont know if that changed now) getting excelibur and Mag is easy because you can farm for the parts early in game as well. Why you want to do this?
when you get all three starter frames, you can play with each one, to see which one more comfortable with you.

Solo so far. Just taking my time, enjoying the land and the LORE. Both are regularly surprising and often breath-taking. It can really get quite epic. Sprinkle in some good cannabis and it becomes truly magical.

The massive noob barrier for me, is the limits on weapon/warframe slots. I can only have so many of things crafted at a time, meaning around mastery rank 4 or 5 I hit a very fast wall. Recently someone explained Forma to me which is great for mastery rank, but I want to try out as much as I can rather than feel stuck with certain loadouts. Wish more slots were given as base, or at least much easier to obtain a few early on
Edit: Even worse, I found out Forma DOESNT give you mastery rank on reset. RIP my wasted time.

I'm new to Warframe but I've played similar games, but in my opinion the last 2 parts should be one of the first parts of the video. Many people don't pay a lot of attention to the community and don't search stuff (in this case the wiki). I do believe that the wiki will come in handy.

Appreciate it :D just a random question though; when you equip a mod that has, say, +10 percent heat; does that mean my weapon now does 10 percent heat damage? Or does a weapon already have to have a "heat" property to it for that to add to said property? Thanks again for the video!

Thankfully the Duviri Paradox is now playable once you reach a certain level. As a guy who just donwloaded warframe two weeks ago (two weeks may seem like a lot but i only actually get to play for a few days in a week cuz business and stuff), I'm grateful im not pulled by two options because you automatically start the Tenno path when you start playing the game
