As a guy, I really enjoyed the movie (since I see a lot of people in the comments calling it a push on feminism agenda) Sure, Cassandra Cain isn't the way she's portrayed in the comics BUT as it's own universe I thought the movie was fantastic, thrilling and hella entertaining. You also have to take in mind the budget was extremely low, Margot even invested into the film herself because she has a love for Harley and wanted the film to succeed. Could things have been done better, yes. Just like every other movie but I love it for what it is
Unfortunately, it didn't even profit as much as they had hoped. Maybe the combination of hate, locals not knowing much about Harley or the birds of prey, and maybe even COVID was the reason. I really hope this doesn't discourage them from possibly making more films about these characters. They're not the peak of the film industry obviously, but they're really fun characters.

Shyam Singh Maybe they will be but if you were going by the trailer alone you would never get that idea, Harley is put into focus so much in this trailer, not helping is that compared to everyone else she’s the most noticeable. Not helping is the fact that the rest of the Birds of Prey where normal clothing and just not resemble their comic book counterpart in any way, Black Canary is a good example here, and some people would probably forget that she was even onscreen for a few shots.

I really liked this movie. I don’t understand the hate. It was really fun and I appreciated how it didn’t sexualize the female characters. I wish they delved more into the other characters but I understand this was Harley’s movie. Margot Robbie was fantastic and the soundtrack is great too.

Shyam Singh Maybe they will be but if you were going by the trailer alone you would never get that idea, Harley is put into focus so much in this trailer, not helping is that compared to everyone else she’s the most noticeable. Not helping is the fact that the rest of the Birds of Prey where normal clothing and just not resemble their comic book counterpart in any way, Black Canary is a good example here, and some people would probably forget that she was even onscreen for a few shots.

Mirna Tarek Me too, I'm very worried about the path society at large headed, it is the path of moral depravity and heavy self-indulgence, remember older movies used to be about good people, virtues and teaching manners today we get this. No wonder there is a rise of depression, bad news, rise of vices and such when people lost sight of things that matter and true values. But they'll have to change and I don't believe they'll change, even if new moral and spiritual leaders came they wouldn't listen just like in the older days because it went too far for too long, I'm too tired and unfit to preach that vice and materialism will bring no good and already we see that people became spiritually delayed. Don't know how to help, all that hits me really hard. Only if we start a new social movement of morals and virtues with celebrities propagating it society would stir from the wrong and in the future punishing path, but today's celebrities are inflicted with delusions too, delusions that lead from innocence and bliss to corruption and later suffering, mostly for future generations that will be left with wrongs. It's bleak but there's still hope, for correction.
