@@supermom23 Not sure. Jennifer had and still has many friends in real-life who became a mother at that point, or later in life. She also *never* stated she didn't want children. Just because she hasn't any, doesn't mean she hates them.
The motion picture industry isn't an easy place to be in. Let alone, your private life being out in the open. Though, like in Harrison Ford's case, you can choose it to be private. So, it begs the question with Jennifer. Either way, it is as it is. In that scene in 1996 she wasn't fooling anyone. Those were maternal instincts.

@@supermom23 We can't assume such things. She probably has trouble conceiving or carrying a child. We don't know. Some women want to have a child of their own and not adopt. Nothing wrong with that. Doesn't help that she had mom issues growing up and her husband left her for another woman.

The only one I like a tiny bit better is when they threw a dummy of Ross down the stairs without telling Jennifer Aniston ahead of time, and she did have a very authentic reaction. They got the shot they were looking for. Wow. I would imagine she couldn't help being mad at first, because I've always thought of pranks as just mean. It's not funny, but for that shot they had to.

I didn’t religiously watch Friends when broadcast, and don’t in reruns either but do appreciate the series when seen during channel changes. Not that each episode stands fully on its own but the need to see prior episodes is not as prevalent as with other shows.
The three leading ladies are independently intriguing, I won’t say each were at the top of their careers as I think JA grew further after the series end, LK not so much, and CCA went a little different path IMO - though no criticism of any. I have no basis to comment in this area for the male leads.
HIMYM has its moments, and was a bit of a clone in some respects but the premise was a substantially different direction. Both shows are great in their own right - unfortunately the last half of penultimate and a few early final season of HIMYM had a set of “mean” episodes (I didn’t start watching weekly until season 6/9) which on second view aren’t as disheartening as first watch. A major driving theme in HIMYM was the trouble caused by the often lecherous Barney, I don’t think Friends has a parallel character.
Perhaps HIMYM benefitted from more stabile writing / directorial personnel but in last 2seasons the change is obvious. Friends is not as edgy, may be why I was not as captivated during broadcasts. Both shows are gems.

I could assume you are a big fan of TBBT, though I won’t. Your two sentences reveal Sheldon-style presumptions on a few levels. The Sheldon character, while part of the reason TBBT was successful (most often as the antagonist), portrays a demeaning stereotype regarding higher intelligence individuals being disconnected from others and loving that state to the point of obnoxious excess. Hard to pick from the other characters as to my favorite, process of assessing lowest average number of serious character flaws points to a toss-up between Amy and Penney, with Raj close behind though because he’s persistently shy near females - not too close. IMO, YMMV. 🙂

@H if you believe they used the same 10 jokes, then that only proves that you obviously just weren't smart enough to get the hundreds of other jokes throughout the series. Maybe they were either too complex for you, or the jokes were too smart for you, and you didn't get them. Which would explain why a dumbed down show like 'Friends', is more your speed.
I'm betting in life, you're more relatable to the Joey character, aren't you? (Yes!... That's a rhetorical question. An answer isn't truly needed. I already know the answer based on your comment).
