18 GOLEMS That Might Lose The Next Minecraft Mob Vote!

what kind of golem would you attempt to add to minecraft?? 👀

The endstone golem is cool and it would be useful in the game. It would give another reward for going to the end, and it wouldn't replace horses either because of this.

My Golem Idea:
Terracotta Golems. You make it by combining glazed terracotta and an armor stand. Each color is a different appearance or face, but not a change in function. You can place armor on the golem after it's created. Where ever it is created it will remain stationary until hostile mobs approach. It will come to life and attack hostile mobs in an area, and then return to being a statue at the spot it was built after the hostile mob is killed. It is leashed to that spot and will not venture too far from it's build location.
It would be a cool use for old armor you don't need anymore. Maybe when it becomes stationary it is not a mob but a block so it isn't attacked by mobs out of it's range.

Imagine if you could put armour trims on iron golems instead of the green vines they have (EDIT: I was stupid and forgot they were vines and thought they were veins for some reason)

This needs a part 2 showing off all the other golems this mod has to offer!

Honestly I love the slab golems, they’re just such a fun group of guys, and really fit into the game. If they posted up together after a while and healed, they would be a perfect selection for the mob vote.

I highly recommend the straw golem mod, they're adorable and they tend to your garden in exchange for wheat :)

The smithing golem is hands down the best one. It looks dope and has an awesome concept

A really cool Idea could be some kind of Redstone golem, and by default, it would be inactive, but you could make it move by laying down trails of redstone dust. The golem would follow the powered redstone dust and kill mobs in its path.

Farming is a staple to minecraft and I wish they would add like a framing golem like the composter one

I think I like that hopping straw golem the best out of these, but justice for the tuff golem! I have no idea why it was so unpopular. I thought having a 3D item display was a great idea since I’m often dissatisfied with only having a flat item frame as a way to display items. Plus, I always liked being able to customize llamas with carpets, so being able to customize golems in a similar way was a really cool idea imo.

I like the barrel golem. I like the idea of having the mobile storage. I think he would be better if he was more passive though.

I'd love to see an accurate clay golem, but it can stretch its arms and has bricks for fists
Another cool idea is a scarecrow golem where you can dress it up in armor and give it a weapon to defend the farms
And I love for someone to buff the snow golems by giving them ice armor and their snowballs give off freezing damage
P.S. Wattles you can say wounding damage, it's the same thing

They could add the Legends golems. One of them shoots projectiles that are better than snowballs.

I feel like having golems focus purely on combat kind of sucks, but having golems that have more utility like the Copper or the Tuff. They're really simple, having one that presses buttons and another that holds items. A cool golem would be one that auto mines a strip mine and puts all the blocks in a chest, or an obsidian golem that has a built in pocket dimension or a cake golem that has a regenerating cake on its head

I’d make like an archer type of golem. So I can post them up on my city walls and have it defend my castle.

It think the combat golems are a bit pointless. We kinda have that already. They look cool though but if we have to choose 1 then I'd want one that has some special purpose. The target golem looks pretty good

Ceramic golem. perhaps you wouldn't make it yourself, but find it as a boss at a structure called the kiln. It can give the terracotta tiles and pots life so they fight for it or shield it. kind of like in Zelda how pots can fly at you and deal damage. the ceramic golem could use the pots and tiles in its moves, like building it armor. it would drop the claymore, a powerful sword which can have pottery sherds placed on it.

Someone at Mojang really wants a golem to be added to Minecraft, I swear they're gonna think of a worse golem every year, this year it will be Stone Golem, next year Wood Golem and after the Dirt Golem and you cant get anything worse than that.

I think these golems on their own are underwhelming but together very cool. There should be an update dedicated to golem creation giving the carved pumpkin an entire category of uses. The golems need a few tweaks. I don't think barrel golems should agro onto mobs when they have items in them and when they die they should spawn a storage entity similar to a minecart with a chest that way it doesn't drop a load of items all over the floor which might cause performance issues if a bunch of them were to die at once. They could make the golems more expensive to make if they feel that they could be op(but only if they actually tweak them to be more useful) I'd also like to see some complex interactions with the golems to expand on the different systems of the game. Getting the golems to do some of your dirty work could be kinda fun. Imagine a sorting golem that has a sorting slot and a chest targeting object that it drops when right clicked so that it will take all items of that type out of a chest and move them to the targeted chest. It can be limited to a certain range as well to prevent it from messing around with other chests but also to give it limitations in it's mechanic so players have to come up with clever systems for its uses

Minecraft really wants to bring another golem into the game and we need one…

What if the piston golem would interact with the barrel golem and would push stuff into and out of the barrel golem so if they where in a mob vote they would be in packs of three and could interact with each other in productional ways maybe the stack golem can be restacked by the blast furnace golem

I want the arrow boy from Legends. I'll take the other Legends golems too, but Wood/Arrow Golem first.

I feel like the furnace golem has such potential

Redstone Golem from minecraft dungeons but you can tame him with Redstone blocks and he will follow you and you can sit him and anything that attacks you, he attacks

Honestly, I want the legend's plank golems. I've always wanted to make a minecraft castle base with working turrets, and unfortunately, dispensers or snow golems can't cut it. Maybe it can attack at hostile mobs, but it won't follow its creator automatically, instead you sound its favorite goat horn and it then goes towards the player that played that goat horn.

The candle golem would be great as a light source. It could walk around with you in caves and things like that.

This is why there will never be new golems, since they all keep getting rejected or, in the case of Minecraft Live votes, losing to other mob votes.

I think the obsidian golem would be cool. I'm not sure what it would do though. Maybe it could light mobs on fire but only mobs that have armor on.

with how dissapointing the sniffler turned out i think the mob vote should be something easier that mojang can actually manage, like lime green sheep, chickens sheding feathers or goats dropping meat.

Instead of the piston golem just attacking enemies it should be able to grab the player if near and fling the player decently high up
Would be a great way to get out of ravines and get to higher caves or leave it near your friends to prank them

Potion golem - You put a potion into it and depending on the potion the golem either put harmful potion effects onto enemies or follows you around and give off a potion buff effect around it.

I don't think the golem will be combat-related, for example- Copper Golem would've been a troublemaker who worked on redstone stuff, whilst the Tuff Golem was for decorative purposes.

Lava-Golem! definetivly a Lava-Golem with lots of heat and fire damage - hot enough to reduce the durability of armor and weapons. weapons deal lesser damage to it (while snowballs and water potions serve higher damage).

Main thing about the copper and tuft golem is they were pretty useless you can already have a Mob press random buttons with a chicken and pressure plates, and item frames exist already
