High school football is not the religion it used to be. Not just here, but everywhere in the USA. CTE......COVID-19.......Anyone who is a Division 1 basketball prospect in high school gives up football to concentrate on basketball. But, it's the state of Virginia. Large population. The talent in northern Virginia is just as good as it is in the whole Tidewater area, so unless you can get great players from PA, NJ, DC, and NC: Virginia is where you have to look for talent.
