It’s a worst case scenario and in retrospect he probably still thinks about this traffic stop before going to sleep every night. Lucky to have all survived that night considering the circumstances.

As a Black man 6-4 225 with dread locks born and raised in a city full of drugs and murder, I've never been arrested, received a speeding ticket, seatbelt ticket or any other kind of ticket...when stopped by a LEO it's my job to comply and ascertain whatever he/she is inquiring about, in order to simplify things and keep moving on with my life. Once it becomes clear that I'm not a criminal and haven't broken any laws I'm always told to have a great day and I'm free to go. Moral of the story is...give Cops a hard time and they'll give you the same. And vice versa, keep things smooth and easy and most times your results will be the same.
Your a good man to say what you said, I've said the same thing many times, do what they say, be polite and you'll be on your way! I ride with a lot of young boys that I tell them all the time, be legal, register your ride, purchase insurance so if you get stopped, everything is in order and like you said, you'll be in your way. 1) for a headlight out, which I didn't realize until I was pulled over and told...I replaced it the following day.
2) for going 10 over, bc I actually thought the speed limit was 40, not 30. And my clear record only proves that I uphold the law and was clearly a mistake. That I also took complete ownership of, and would have actually gladly taken the ticket if issued!
3) For failure to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.

This is science actually it makes you over 15x more likely to go to prison. 80% of prisoners didnt have a dad in the home. The reason for this is the man is often more disciplinary. If you throw a tantrum infront of your dad he will straighten you out with pure fear alone. The mother is often more nurturing and the father more disciplinary. Too much nurturing will hurt the children.

I understand the deep rooted reason why they didn’t want to comply. I’m embarrassed of the girls decisions, appreciative of the oofficers professionalism, and sadden of the system that influenced and encourage the disconnect we the people and cops have.

Really? He lied twice and you think that’s ok? He had her birthday already. He said it out loud to her. Then he calls her coach acting like he doesn’t know it. Then he gives her the tests knowing full well he wasn’t going to let her drive no matter how she did. So that was a lie too.

The reason I am not a cop is because I would have lost my temper with these spoiled assholes. These officers deserve an award for their work here. I'm not saying that I respond correctly everytime but I have learned the hard way that responding when I am at a heightened state of an emotional wreck it never works out to my advantage. I yell at a cop once and told them they needed to do their job and ended up in handcuffs while the drunk person sat back laughing. These girls weren't just hurt, they were acting entitled like they have never been told no their whole life.
