GET CAVANI! If we can offload some of the Deadwood like Wanyama, Rose, and Foyth ( i suspect Jose will stick with Aurier), we should be able to pay Cavanis' wage demands. Offer him a two and a half year contract to take him to the age of 34 with an option for another year which might help to clinch the deal. If we can keep Eriksen till the end of the season and he puts in a shift, with Tangy in Midfield back and lo celso playing well I think we can make a good fist of the rest of the Season. Over to Levy to not be a Dick about charging too much for Players that will never play for us again, or being too tight to splash out on Cavani who, i think would push Kane who has been a bit adrift of late. Don't blame Daniel Levy.£100million was spent last summer on 4 players and no one decided a striker would be a sensible buy.Instead they bought all midfielders, and the people responsible for that need shooting.It was obvious sooner or later Kanr might pick up an injury and any half decent manager would have ensured we has adequate cover in that eventuality.Don't blame Daniel Levy !

@@michaelscales5996 Levy's the one who deals with transfers and turns up to most Tottenham games, and you're telling me after getting rid of Llorente and Jansen he doesn't have the common sense to know that the team needs another striker? Levy is the one that needs shooting because he's the one that's responsible, instead of him getting a striker in now, he's haggling over £4.5 million with Inter for Eriksen.
@@TheRealist2024 Daniel Levy does the financial negotiations.It's very unlikely he would identify the player concerned.Yes he has a reputation of driving a hard bargain,and because of that we may have missed out on a few players for he sake of a few million, but I 'd probably prefer it hat way.At least we won't go bankrupt.
@@michaelscales5996 THFC won't go bankrupt, Lewis and Levy's wealth combined is to much for that to happen, plus Lewis can always sell up. I'm sure their will be offers coming in for that shiny new stadium and training facilities, for you to say you would prefer Levy to drive hard bargains and making the club miss out on top player's is crazy talk, the players that he doesn't want to spend the extra million on could be players to win the club trophies. Now Levy's haggling Inter for an extra £4.5 million pounds for Eriksen, it won't surprise me if Inter pull out of the deal, Eriksen ends up staying and Levy gets nothing, and it will serve him right.

Must win is a often used phrase - but ths really is a must win game for spurs. As for our non existent 'chase' for a striker well worth recalling that enic and levys first signing after taking control of tottenham in 2001 was a certain over the hill carthorse called andy booth - and sad to say they started as they have gone on. So we'll probably end up signing will grigg (on a loan deal of course)

I think the poor performances and struggles started pretty much a year ago (last January). It seemed (and still does) that teams worked out how to play against Spurs (in the Prem).
Poch never seemed to set up differently depending on the opponent - just played the same every game, which worked when teams didn't have a plan. I felt that maybe Mourinho would change tactics a bit more depending on the opposition - he has a bit, but to give him the benefit of the doubt, he obviously did not want to make huge changes, then he has been hit with plenty of injuries - maybe not easy to get it right at the moment.
If a striker is not signed then I think Jose has the right to have excuses for the rest of the season. It's not just about Kane being injured - why has there been zero competition for his place? Even when we had Llorente, he was a good squad player, but there was still no competition for Kane and Poch never got anyone in.
Jose says he wants 2 more strikers, so if he does not get at least one - what would that mean? Does it mean Jose just has to fumble along with what he has got or does it mean that Levy has even written the season off and will invest in the Summer? Get one good striker now, maybe a right-back, then sort the rest of the squad out in the Summer.
Not confident tonight and that is sad. Hopefully a new striker signed in the very near future
I would like to see Fernandes alongside Winks in CDM and Push Lo Celso into Right CAM, Lamela Left CAM, Son or Lucas central CAM and Point...….Dele Alli dropped to the bench. IF Lo Celso is started as I said, it will be his chance to create, score and probably seal a transfer to THFC. He didn't do it vs Watford, thus his 2nd chance vs a lower Premiership side. Defence can stay the same. Hopefully N'Dombele can make the subs bench.
