For the past year we have lived in a 30' RV as a family of 5. Josh has continued to work full time, commuting 2 hours to and from work in the city so we can pay for the build with cash and remain debt free. Meanwhile, I have been caring for the kids, the household and running the farm. In the evenings we come together to build the house. This video shows our progress throughout the first year sped up as to only take 20 minutes to view. You can see ALL the progress we have made since this video, including what you see in the thumbnail, on our channel. Each individual project is broken down to its own video where you get a better look at each step.

Lol I did something similar with my husband while pregnant twice over a 5 year period. It wasn't too fulfilling in the end. Lots of exhausted days and we missed so much of our kids life because we worked everyday all day for years. We ended up selling our homestead to live in a smaller home/property and give more time to our kids and their sports etc. It seems great until the kids get older and want to be with their friends and have hobbies etc. And you're in the middle of no where lol

So so good to see all the children and animals including an appearance of our loved Chucky. Ellie has suddenly gotten so big. The children will thank you both SO much for giving them such a rich and educational life!! Children learn best by working with their parents (who love them)! How do I know? It's nice that they documented this , the kids can look back and say that's mom and dad they built this house.
I always enjoy telling people that my dad built all 3 of the houses we have lived in. The last one was finished when I was 5. But I remember the process even at that age. I really envy my dad's hard work and mom was there every step of the way making sure he had what he needed to keep moving.
