It was between the Fat Boys and Dj Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince latest album "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper". I copped the latter and it shaped my love for hip hop for life, especially the relationship between an incredible emcee and a real DJ. I owned all of their albums and knew all of the songs. My modest cassette collection turned into an enormous CD collection of almost 1,000 albums, over half of them were hip hop. It all started with Will and Jazzy. Seeing him elevate to a hit TV and then movie star felt extra special to me because I felt I had already known him for well years and his brand of humor, style, and personality was being recognized in the mainstream. Seeing a legend like Snoop pay homage to Will's musical legacy is also so special. I want to hear more about that part of Will's career. Thanks for making this 44-year-old feel like a kid again. ❤️

Charlie Mack story:
My stepmom was a flight attendant in the late 80’s/early 90’s. She would get me autographs from celebrities that were on her flight. She was so excited to call and tell me that she had gotten me DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince’s autograph. I was so excited, I had their cassette and was a big fan. When she gave me the autograph I looked over it and it was missing words like Jazzy or Jeff, Fresh or Prince. The autograph reads “To Andy, Be Cool, Charlie Mack, 1st out the limo, T.D.H. Posse”. You could imagine my disappointment, who is Charlie Mack I thought. For years owning this autograph I had no clue, thank you for clearing it up. Still wish it was Will and Jeff but happy to at least have Charlie.
