      @@martinmartensson4715 It's an _extremely_ small amount of matter that gets heated up this much, so there is aactually very little energy involved (in that aspect).
      Imagine getting hit by a projectile like a pistol bullet, but instead of an actual bullet, it's a single grain of finely ground flour (ignoring air friction). The _speed_ would be the same as that of an actual pistol bullet, but the mass would be extremely low, and consequently the energy as well - you'd barely notice it instead of bleeding all over the floor ;)

      Yes, that's correct. When something is described as immortal, it means that it cannot be killed or destroyed in the conventional sense. Immortality implies an eternal existence, unaffected by the passage of time or any mortal threats. This concept is often associated with mythical beings, gods, and supernatural entities in various cultures and religious traditions. In fiction and folklore, characters such as vampires, gods, and certain mythical creatures are often depicted as immortal, possessing an enduring life force that cannot be extinguished by ordinary means

      @@jplb96 His word choice is weird. We know roughly the size of ocean, we just haven't been to every part yet. Basically, he means explored, not discovered.

      Ocean is 71% of the earth and we haven’t even discovered everything on land so I’m not surprised we haven’t discovered much of the much larger ocean

    • @semoremo9548
      @semoremo9548 개월 전

      I think you mean "explored" instead of "discovered". And either way, it's misleading. We know what there is in the ocean, at least largely. What that 20% thing means is that a HUMAN hasn't been down there, but we have robots and other technological advancements nowadays that makes it possible for us to know what is down there. Of course, in life nothing is ever 100%, but rest assured that we largely DO know what is down there, and there is no megalodon hiding there.

    My only qualm was Dr. Evans made a small (common) mistake with the electrical defense comment. 600V is a voltage, not a current. Current is measured in amps. They're two different properties of electricity. But it's not a major mistake.
