      Далеко не все боги Античности умеют то, что демонстрирует этот чел! Ему осталось подключить компьютер, к нему манипуляторы, рабочие приводы и прихваты, искусственный интеллект в конце концов, чтобы ни к чему не прикасаться руками, а оно рождалось из дерева, как Афродита из пены морской - само!

      Хирурги в Средние века пытались сменить клиенту руки (вместо правой руки пришивали левую). Всё получалось, только большие пальцы смотрели не вперёд, а назад... Чтобы поздороваться, приходилось ладонь выворачивать тыльной стороной во внутрь. В этом принцип шарниров - при повороте тугие мышцы растягиваются и идеально уравновешивают мышцы расслабленные. Оперируемый не сразу замечал смену направлений поворотных направленностей.

    My wife wanted that wood tile look for flooring in our home living room & hallway leading to the bedrooms.. Took alot blood sweat & beers 🍻 but we got it done after a few weeks..I layed it down like tile using a special floor adhesive with the recommended notched trowel. Used fine saw & sanding dust mixed with a shellac for grout & knot filler. Rented a floor sander to smooth it out then hit it with a couple coats of walnut stain followed by one coat of wax free shellac & finally finished it off with a couple coats of Bona Traffic HD commercial satin, it's always a hit with guests who see it for the 1st time. Even repeat visitors just zone out starring at all the wood grain & knot patterns..

      @50DesotoCoupe 2 년 전 +5

      @@TheBooze13 The milling process was no joke, laying it down was probably the most time consuming part I'm kinda OCD so the details is all I look at.. Not too many knots in a given area making sure the grain was random looking & measure the fill in cuts along walls.. Once I got to grouting and sanding it was smooth sailing..

Depending on the work it was originally sourced for you can have enough good lengths and conditions to be useful for a project like this but surplus to its original use.

Just look at the mortises being far to long (you can still them with cat playing), all the fitting are either slack or too tight (look when he turned the legs around cause they did fit, then they nearly fell over once swapped around),and he’d screwed long grain to cross grain with far too many screws. Absolutely no allowance for expansion. Piss poor joinery skills in my eyes. I think I could do better with a screwdriver and a rock!

    That looks fantastic. The "butcher block" type pattern on the table and the "ribbed" pattern on the bench contrast nicely. Sorry, I don't know the jargon. I've watched a lot but have never had the chance to do any myself. I enjoyed the video and will definitely be watching more.

    After watching the video advert i was still skeptical. But when i finally downloaded the plans krplus.net/upostUgkxZF0EMnrujZvqHhGkxiz559uIABJWR9TG i was very impressed. The whole plan was just as you said in the video. Thank you very much. I now have a large and valuable collection for my woodworks. This is great!

    I could've done that.. in like 8 months, maybe, if I ever got the idea.. It took you a day? Well done! Damn!

    What a beautiful cat petting table. The world needs more furniture specifically designed for petting cats.

      I was going to comment that this was the most beautiful cat-petting table that I've ever seen -- and the first!
      Seriously, though, his work is beautiful and inspiring.
