OPINIONS! Was Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns Segment Underwhelming? LA Knight Arrested! WWE Smackdown

Cody need to stop playing high road or be Mr. Nice Guy, LA Knight is a good example, dude only screwed once and he's already doing home invasion..

I had mixed feelings about last nights show I was torn between slightly disappointed as well as appreciative of the situation they found themselves in because of the pivot let me explain. When they changed plans to accommodate the rock into wrestlemania, when punk got injured and they made that pivot back to Cody against Roman they accidentally built the rock versus Cody more than Roman versus Cody and I think it was unavoidable because they had to pivot. There was a certain amount of explanation and talking that was needed to guide everything back on to the road where we’re at now so the focus became Cody and then the rock Roman sort of became a supporting character when in all actuality is a main character so last night was essentially supposed to be a recent putting rock back into the sporting character place and making room in the main character once again with Cody I think they succeeded with that however I don’t think they capitalized on it at the same time. Had they gone a little harder on the promos between the two men had they gone a little deeper I definitely feel like it wouldn’t have seemed so underwhelming however I also understand that because things have gotten so complicated anytime they have a chance to make it simple they will do that which is what last night was simple to the point effective so can I really call it underwhelming this is where I’m confused🤷🏽‍♀️ most importantly though it didn’t diminish my excitement for wrestlemania so I’m not as down on the show as other people are because I think I’ve noticed there is so much fantasy booking going on which is part of the fun yes but we’re doing it now to an extent where we fantasy book so much that when the show happens if it’s not what we’ve already imagined in our minds then we’re instantly disappointed and I think that’s unfair to the actual writers on the show because they can’t know what each person of the millions and millions of people around the world have fantasy book to give us exactly that you know. I enjoyed SmackDown I’m excited for wrestlemania and although I do wish that Roman and Cody would spark some more flames between them but at the end of the day I know the match is going to be fantastic so I’m not worried but there is room for improvement❤

Both roman and cody were good on the Mike but what roman said about seth turning on cody I have a feeling it will happen during the tag match at wrestlemania

I think the trouble is that they started the build a couple of weeks too early. This promo was more filler than killer.

Tbh i think Roman and Cody's face to face was mid because we had Rock promos. Anything after that seems blah. Before the Rock Romans promos was goated. I feel bad because they're match is definitly overshadowed by the Rock Vs. Cody drama.

Yes Roman and cody segment was under whelming

My 2 cents is I feel Roman was weak on the mic. What he said in his message to Cody lacked punches. Also this wasn’t Cody best promo either but I think he was far better with his words. It seemed as if Cody was waiting for Roman to deliver more punches on the mic. Overall it wasn’t bad but it definitely lacked that spark these two needed. Im still excited Wrestlemania

all this mania build up has done is make me less a fan of cody

I think repetitive is the word. They need to do more if they want people to think Cody Rhodes can win, AKA not think Reigns will just win in the end again.

For me, I wanted to see Rock V Roman Non title match. CODY won and yes he has a right to WM, It is just not Rock v Roman
