    That drop off the cell through the announcer's table at the '98 King of the Ring _STILL_ gives me goosebumps whenever I watch it. He fell approximately one storey to the arena floor. Madness.

    Mick Foley really earns the word insane when it comes to most insane moments. I remember watching him get thrown off the top of the cage and think he's done then when he went threw the cage (by accident) I remember turning to my friend sitting in the row behind me and we both were speechless. I'll never forget the sound that was made on impact.

      But,

    At 11:38 you can see genuine concern in Taker’s eyes for what just happened to Foley, one of the very few times he seems to have broken character. Thank god Foley was alright after this!

      As said unplanned. Foley had hurt himself before the match and it was improvised to be a quick match between foley and taker. It was foley who said to taker, throw me off the cage and he did. Comes back a few minutes later and goes through the cell again to the ring. Taker didn't like doing it at all but foley insisted according to what the undertaker said

    I met Mick a few times in the late 1990s - early 2000s and he really is as kind a person as they say. He took as much time as I wanted as an obsessed 9 year old to talk with me.

    During my childhood years, I must have replayed the VHS recordings of Mankind I made every Monday at least 20 times after school. When Mankind and Cactus Jack debuted in the WWF, I was so into it. Mick Foley one of the true heroes that saved the WWF in the 90’s and Vince owes him. You can’t give Mick enough credit for what he did.

      That solid impact to the back with all that body mixed with the force of the throw definitely could have damaged his disc preventing him from ever wrestling again or doing much of anything needing that type of physical ability. A friend of mines dad had a fall like that off a roof, nearly killed him and he was never able to return to doing construction. Ended up with a herniated disc and three broken ribs, had to learn how to work again.

    I think that Mick Foley was truly under valued throughout his career However this playlist just shows how much creativity he still had. The fact that Mrs Foley's baby boy stayed for so long shows the true passion and love for the industry he really has.

    I used to watch RAW and Smackdown in 2009 and 2010, only a year after Mick Foley left the WWE. A shame I missed out on such a colorful wrestling persona, he really seemed to be a lot of fun to watch.
